I've been here multiple times and I have only ONE gripe that keeps me from giving this location 5 stars. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE cook your sweet potatoes longer! They are always hard, crunchy and gross... this has been the case over multiple visits. I just want soft, silky, cooked-through sweet potatoes for my vegetarian bowls! There were many instances where I passed by but never went in. Now I been ordering from here almost every other day. The harissa chicken pita wrap, is my go to meal, and I love it! The chicken tastes fresh, well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Every single time, expect this afternoon where it was left out by mistake. I typically like to do half and half, with chicken and falafel. When I called the restaurant, they took responsibility. There were no stories, or foolishness! My vegetarian friends and coworkers love this place too! I need to get a veggie bowl next time. I can say, the falafel here is amazing. I would double check the orders as they do not always give you the right item. It unfortunately happened three times, after my initial review (5 stars). I've recently discovered my new food obsession: anything and everything from CAVA. They're the Mediterranean version of Chipotle, as they have four base choices (rice, greens, rice+greens, pita pocket) and a wide selection of fresh produce and flavorful proteins (i.e. harissa honey chicken - a lil' spicy; falafel; and lamb meatballs). I especially love mixing their dips (Tzatziki, Hummus, Red Pepper Hummus, Harissa, Feta, Roasted Eggplant). Cava is vegetarian and vegan friendly. I was absolutely not surprised at how much I loved this place. It's far out of my way, so I won't be there often, but this will go in my book as a great easy, healthy lunch or dinner place. I ordered a grain and green bowl, and it was perfectly delicious because I was able to load it up with all the flavors I wanted. It was super busy when I went in for lunch, so I ordered online and picked up my order. I also got a blueberry lavender drink that was incredible. The food was great, but what really compelled me to leave a review was the excellent service that I got from the Cava team member, Amani. I placed an order on the app for pick up at the store. It was raining cats and dogs when I arrived to get my food with my baby in the car with me. I didn't want to bring the baby out in the rain, so I called the store and asked if someone could bring my order to my car. It. is. amazing. Let me start with the food: it's AMAZING. So many options, all healthy and delicious. You can choose between a pita or a greens & grains all of which are delicious. You also get a slice of pita with the greens & grains bowl! Along with that you get three sauce choices! There are about 6 or 7 options if I remember correctly, all so yummy and unique. Then you can choose your protein--all of them incredible. Lamb meatballs, falafel, sweet potato, specialty chicken, etc., etc. You can also get half and half proteins, but depending on the proteins you choose it's a dollar extra, which isn't too unreasonable considering how much you get! Lastly you pick all your toppings which including feta, avocado, cucumber and tomato, pickled red onions, and more! Now if you get a drink, you have a plethora of unique options like Cucumber Mint Lime and other interesting lemonade type drinks. If you're a fan of classic soda you may not like they're soda machine options, but I really liked the difference between them and other places. They had Mexican soda on tap, blueberry soda, etc. The service is great too! Everyone is friendly and helps you make your decisions if you ask! Someone got into a lovely conversation with me about a book I was reading, and it's just very nice to have such familiarity with your customers. My one and only complaint is that I wish they were more clear about what will cost extra and what won't. Of course you can always ask and they are happy to answer, and there are a few labels for things that are .99 cent extra, but it's always helpful to have everything listed somewhere.
