Cava is awesome. I love Mediterranean flavors so this place was definitely one i was excited about. Also the portions are perfect. Most people would probably not be able to finish the bowl i received, but I'm a big eater. I was full after! I no longer take my business to Chipotle which has staff that doesn't care, dirty restaurants and the worst portion sizes Cava is my go to for fast (healthier) food. I hope Cava keeps this up because I'm a huge fan. I love the food and the portions.

Hard pass. Tiny portions, stingy with veggies & tzatziki. Out of silverware, staff has attitude. Not worth the price.

New to the area, I love the concept. Sort of like Chipotle but for Mediterranean food. The place gets busy but the line did move along. Limited indoor seating and two tables outside. Staff do not present a good look for the company. They sort of grunt a "what do you want?" And they come across super disinterested in the whole process. We seemed to be bothering them with our presence. Food was fresh and very good so I'll give them another try. Parking was good but busy lot. You may have to walk a bit to get to the restaurant.

CAVA is a solid go-to for healthy Mediterranean eats, served in either bowl or wrap form depending on your vibe. The staff were friendly and kept the line moving fast, which is always appreciated. The space was clean with a nice, casual ambiance -- good for a quick bite or even sitting down for a bit. I went with a build-your-own wrap, and it was loaded (in a good way). Definitely packed to the point where I had to hold it carefully or risk it falling apart. The ingredients were fresh and everything tasted great together. For the portion and quality, it's a great value. Would definitely come back again.

If I owned Cava and I picked up my order and experienced what I did, I would've fired everyone working in the restaurant on the spot. I am 37 years old and I am not lying when I articulate that this was the worst service I've ever received - from Dunkin Donuts to McDonalds to Legal Seafoods to high end restaurants. Hands down the worst service EVER! I placed an order for a pick up of one steak harissa bowl set for a 6:15pm pickup at the Cava in Framingham at 1 Worcester Road. I had to drop my daughter at her school at 6:00pm (9 minutes away from Cava) to get ready for her performance and be back at the school by 7:00pm for the show. We arrived at the pickup window at 6:17pm. There were two cars in front of us. We didn't get to the window until 6:23pm. Then, we waited at the window for someone to come over for approximately 5 minutes. When the young woman came to the window she opened the window and stared at us, so I said my name and "it's for one steak harissa bowl." She stared blankly back at me, so I asked "what information do you need?" She responded with a nasty tone and attitude, "your name." I responded, that is my name and repeated it again. She closed the window and never returned. We waited at the window for another 5+ minutes. Several individuals working inside passed by the window and looked at us, but didn't open the window to get our order. Finally, it was almost 6:35 and we had to get back to my daughter's school for her performance at 7pm, so my husband pulled up in front of the restaurant and walked in. When he went inside he said that the man at the counter was making someone's order, but was moving at a glacial pace. He described it like the sloth from Zootopia (if you haven't seen the movie it's fantastic and there is a sequel coming out soon). My husband asked the man if he could get his order as he had been waiting outside for a while and the order was prepared for pickup at 6:15pm so was likely ready. The man just stared at him and kept doing what he was doing. With multiple people working, no one could bother to help anyone at the drive through or with pick-up. Finally, after asking again, the man handed my husband the order. It took approximately 25 minutes from when we arrived at Cava to receive my pickup order. Needless to say we were almost late to the show and I didn't get to eat anything before going in. As a result of this poor service, I didn't get to eat my order, which was prepared for 6:15pm, until 8:59pm. I have photos that document all of this because I was just appalled by the lack of care and consideration for the customer. Despite the food still being okay almost 3 hours later, I was starving at that point. And, this is not how I think anyone should experience a food pickup. The purpose of a pickup time and drive through is fast service. This was slower than some sit down restaurants. I can't believe I paid for a meal that I waited 25+ minutes for and didn't get to eat until almost 3 hours after I picked it up. I especially wish I had known so I would've put the dressing on the side (wilted lettuce is less than ideal. I hope this is not indicative of the standard and expectations for customer service at Cava and believe that you should do something to ensure this never happens again. Thanks for listening.

This was my first time trying CAVA, and I must say I am throughly impressed! The food was absolutely amazing! You can tell all of the ingredients are quality and fresh, and all of the sauces really brought the flavors together. I am a sucker for Mediterranean cuisine, so this was the perfect place to get my fix. The staff was super helpful in guiding through the menu in a fast-paced environment, and I did not feel rushed at all. Beware- this is a fairly small location, so there are only about 5 tables inside and 2 outside. Also only 2 bathrooms. It gets a little tight and you are sright next to the line. However, both the dining room and bathrooms are very clean, which makes for a pleasant dining experience. Here's an order I definitely recommend- basmati white rice, grilled chicken, tzatziki, hummus, tomato-cucumber, pickled onions, avocado, feta, and a lemon vinaigrette drizzle. Pair that with a side of pita chips and you're rolling. Absolutely delicious!!!

Food should be a 4+, but because the service is 1 this place is a 3 review at best. The people working the line on 6/25 around 5:45pm truly could not care less about the customers. Went out of their way to take their time, not respond when interacted with overall make me never want to go back in for food. Food is typically very good. Service stinks. read more

I am fairly new to CAVA, but I had to leave a review after the positive energy and spirit I encountered today in Sisandro at the Shopper's World location. It's not often that I encounter a person who seems truly happy to engage with customers in the food service industry, but he really stood out today, recommending that my husband add more vegetables to his bowl was the highlight! I've progressively become more addicted to CAVA in the last month and am appreciative of fantastic guest service by their employees, Angel and Sam to name a couple, but the whole team seems to do a great job. I'm obsessed with cava no matter the location but I am going out of my way to review this location and give a huge shoutout to an employee there, Angel! Every time I come to this location I'm lucky enough to be there when Angel is on shift. I swear Angel works so hard and the amount of work of 8 employees and still always provides exceptional, thorough, and beyond satisfactory service. I understand what it's like working in a field still struggling with the staffing crisis and I know Angel is doing an amazing job and helping to keep this location running smoothly! read more

Service was great, fast, food looked fresh. Unfortunately it just tasted too salty. This must be the new thing, as I recently went to another "new" (to me) Mediterranean restaurant in Ashland, and it was the same thing. Menu selections sounded delicious, but all I could taste was the salt. I go to other really great Greek/Mediterranean restaurants, and the food that comprises the dishes is actually the first thing you taste - rather than salt I am going to try it again, but if salt is still the main taste I get, I won't be back. read more

Cava is the best. Fresh, interesting choices, lots of seasoned veg toppings, and really generous in the potions. Bored of chicken? They serve lamb 2 different ways!!! Lamb at a fast casual? YES. Remember how exciting it was when you FIRST went to Chipotle? We were all so easily impressed. Cava is like that but all grown up and based on Mediterranean flavors. Ever reluctantly try a new place for food? I did. I decided to try Cava in Framingham. I chose "harissa bowl" and now I am kicking myself for not going sooner. The bowl is packed with fresh and delicious food (and really tasty). The sauces were flavorful too ( was given a garlic sauce to take with me in a little cup - yum!) It is keto friendly too. (maybe one day! ) I came back today determined to try a new dish, but I am now an official fan of the harissa bowl and re-ordered it. Halil, the general manager, is great. He is helpful, and really listens to the customer. Thank you Halil! You can sit outside. The inside is also great, with many tables available for a sit-down alone or with friends. And did I mention the beverages? I went with the berry lavender drink (it tastes as nice as it sounds!). I am glad I took a chance, and this will be a place I will go to often. Food is delicious, service is horrible. Perhaps Cava is a victim of its own success. The staff is completely overwhelmed. Ordered on the app and waited longer for my order than people who walked in. The guy in front of me told one of the workers he had been waiting 20 minutes for an app order and she went off on him completely and had to be calmed down by another worker. No solace given to the abused customer. Don't go during a busy time. You'll regret it! read more

This is the most upsetting experience I've ever had ordering online from a restaurant. I've made the same mistake twice, in hopes that the second time I would have a different experience. I ordered my food through their app. Went to pick up at the time they said it would be ready. I waited 10 minutes after the scheduled time and my food wouldn't show up at the shelf. Talked to a cashier and she couldn't find my order. Waited another 10 minutes and talked to the cashier again. She said she didn't know what was going on and she was counting the seconds to leave. I started losing my cool after standing there for over 20 minutes not knowing if I would even get my order. Asked to talk to a manager and she wasn't pleasant or helpful, saying that they were "probably" working on it. I stood there watching people coming in, order their food, getting it and leaving. I finally lost my temper and spoke loudly that if they weren't going to give me my food I wanted my money back. It took them another 10 minutes to prepare my order and when they gave me the bag, my drink was missing. What a friggin nightmare. I decided to give it another go. Same upsetting experience. Had to wait 30 minutes until they found my order. It is a pretty crappy place and they will never see me again. read more

The Mezze was fine but the cheap lettuce and carrot salad put me off. My friend order the Small Lamb Kebab for $16.99. The 1 kebab stick was a joke. 4 pieces of toddler size lamb and a few small onions. I should have taken a picture because they were teeny tiny. Combined, the amount of meat on that plate was like 1/2 a pack of cards. There was also rice, salad and pickled cabbage. Needless to say my friend left still hungry. The owners definitely need to do better with their portion size if they are going to charge so much. We were the only customers in there and it was lunchtime on a Saturday. We will not be returning. Do not recommend.

When we were seated there were about 5 other tables seated in the restaurant. The host took us to our seats and gave us our menus. He then came back to take our drink and food orders and that is literally the last time we saw him or had any waitstaff at our table at all. There was waitstaff taking care of all the other tables, but no one ever came over to us. After sitting for 15 minutes without drinks I had to go up the bar myself! The gentleman behind the bar was very nice and said that our drink orders (a coke and a Chianti) were never put in. He got them for us right away. After another 10 minutes I got worried that our food hadn't been put in so I went back up to the bar and the gentleman went to check in the kitchen and said it would be right out. He was not a server but was nice enough to get our food and bring it to us. No one ever came to our table after that. The Chianti was terrible, I only drank about 3 sips because it tasted like vinegar. The pizza was ok. I really like pesto but this one didn't complement the pizza. The gnocchi with vodka sauce was fine too. When we were done I had to GO BACK to the bar and ask if I could pay our bill. He apologized and admitted it wasn't right that we never had a server. A manager was sitting and eating at the bar. He heard everything I said to the waiter and didn't say a word to me. He was also quite close to our table and saw that no one was coming over!! He just walked away after I sat back down to gather my things to leave. I honestly didn't want to even pay the bill but we did eat some of the food so I paid it. I will never, ever go back. I can't believe they treated us like that. Stay away.

I visited Cava in Framingham yesterday, and unfortunately, my experience started off on a very negative note. Maria, the manager, was rude and seemed to ignore me as a customer, leaving me waiting for almost 40 minutes without any communication or assistance. It was really frustrating, and I felt completely overlooked. However, things took a positive turn when Victor, another manager, stepped in. He immediately took charge, apologized for the wait, he took the time to explain the wait which really makes a difference he ensured my order was handled quickly and efficiently. His approach to customer service is exemplary--he handled every situation with patience and care, addressing any concerns with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help. As a leader, Victor's ability to guide his team with both authority and empathy was impressive. I saw him motivate and support his staff while maintaining a calm and respectful atmosphere, even during this busy time. His customer service was outstanding, and he displayed excellent leadership skills in turning the situation around. Victor has a strong command of his role. I ordered the Falafel Crunch, and I have to say, it was absolutely delicious! The falafel was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly crispy. Despite the rocky start, Victor's professionalism and the quality of the food made the visit worthwhile. They don't wear gloves or a hair net when serving your food. One guy serving me is in desperate need of a belt -- his pants were practically around his ankles. Some chain-smoking employee looks like she's on drugs. And if that doesn't ruin your appetite, they throw their slop into a bowl or a tortilla. Forget sitting down; tables have a mm of sludge on them. Maybe trying cleaning with soap and water? Management and the people who work there don't care about quality. Total slop fest. read more

For the past two years, I frequently visited Cava locations in other states. However, having recently relocated to Framingham, I must say the experience here is truly unparalleled! None of the Cava locations I've previously patronized can hold a candle to this one. The food here was incredibly fresh and scrumptious, the restaurant itself was impeccably clean, and the service, particularly from the manager (I think their name was Halil), was truly exceptional.
