Wow, wow, wow! Cava blew my expectations out of the water! I built my own bowl and loved that I was able to customize it exactly to my taste. Highly recommend the shoog (if you like spicy) and garlic dips added. Both locations that I visited had friendly folks and good service and the spot itself was clean and nicely set up. They also had a great selection of house made lemonades that were delicious and not overly sweet - def fell in love with the them since most lemonades I try are wayyyy too sugary. For healthy good food , this is the place. I picked up the steak bowl and the spicy lamb. The pick up process was quick while having super helpful staff. Inside looked like a cleaner hip Chipotle. I didn't just eat the consequences -- I marinated in them for hours. Silence. Sharp sighs. Existential questions like "Why do I even bother?" We are regulars at this cava. Whenever we order our bowls we do the half greens/ half rice but ratio wise a little more rice than greens. They normally do it for us. Today we went and Joey was so insistent that it cost extra. Rice is literally so cheap. After we got our order we had to wait because earlier we asked for pita and he forgot. So his manager comes out and has to help him catch up on pitas and clean his station cause it was messy... I love coming to cava, I primarily come to this location. Usually I get the chicken and right rice bowl, but I started doing the build your own salad bowl :) the premade options are tasty if you don't know what you like! The service is always great here, the line moves fast and the portions are always consistent (better than certain competitors hahaha). There's plenty of seating both inside and on the patio. There were great portions of chicken, I wish there was a bit more tzatziki but that's ok. I didn't like the super greens base- the Brussels sprouts are not great and I wish I had known they were in there. Maybe the website says it somewhere but it doesn't say when you order. Also, I clicked "include free pita" but the staff forgot or missed it and didn't give us the pita! I was so bummed. Didn't notice until I was gone and it was too late. The cashier who handed over my bag was nice but I wish we had gone through to make sure all was there. I was so wrong, unlike Chipotle they don't skimp on the ingredients at all and let you try stuff! After hearing all the hype about Cava, this was one of the most disappointing lunches I've had in awhile. Ordered ahead online for pickup and it was waiting there when I walked in. I built my own bowl with white rice as the base, harissa honey chicken, lamb meatballs, and an extra side of braised lamb. I topped it with red pepper hummus, roasted eggplant dip, crazy feta, tomato and cucumber, pickled onion, roasted corn, and pita chips. Tell me why I paid $20+ for the saddest looking bowl ever. I didn't know we were rationing over here. They put hella meatballs and I had to use a magnifying glass to find the chicken and braised lamb (that I paid extra for). The lamb meatballs were horrible. Super dense and dry that had me sipping my water after every bite. The bowl in general was dry. The rice was undercooked and not just a personal preference. I could visibly see grains of rice almost raw you can still see the whites on the inside. The only good part about the bowl was the toppings. The pickled onion and roasted eggplant were needed to bring a fresh and sweet element to this dry bowl. They also forgot the tomato and cucumber even though it was on the ticket. Not sure if the employees at this location just don't care about quality? This was not worth $20. All the elements are there and the concept is nice but the execution was horrendous. read more

im OBSESSED with cava!!! my go to is the build your own bowl, it's nice that you can customize it but also I get almost every topping possible so my bowl is always packed! you definitely get your moneys worth this way too! for protein, I always stick with chicken and you can't go wrong with it. but the absolute MUST for every bowl is getting the garlic dressing and skhug dressing!! and don't forget to ask for a free piece of pita bread on the side too! I feel like overall all the locations I have been to have been pretty consistent with taste! if u go during lunch tho, there's always going to be a lunch rush so expect longer wait times. read more
