Wow! I've been wanting to come here for a while but the line was always so long. I came here for an early lunch to beat the crowd and it did not disappoint. I didn't wait long at all when ordering. I decided to go with the build your own pita with chicken. The chicken was tender and flavorful. I filled it up with so many fresh toppings. It was HUGE. The food here always tastes great, but my order is very rarely completed on time (sometimes 15-20 minutes past the "promise time"), and the service isn't very good or kind. I've eaten from this location about 5 or 6 times, and my order has never once been 100% correct (forgotten tomatoes, etc). I recommend heading to a different CAVA in the area if possible. read more

Who's excited cause there's a Cava open in Southpark? This girl!!!! I was a little disappointed about this Cava being only 1 level. If you're familiar with the building and the past restaurants that where there (Godfather's Pizza and Fuel) you know there was an upstairs sitting area also. So when I arrived and saw that it was only one level and I was expecting a Super Cava you can imagine my face. The inside however is very nicely decorated. It has a very simple and clean look with black and wood as the main color scheme. The layout makes the tables very accessible and there are tables outside. I'm in love with the Greens and Grain bowl which is half grain half salad bowl. I always order it to go because I can't finish it. The new seasonal items are amazing. My favorite one is the red pepper chickpea dressing. I normally get the romaine lettuce and the saffron basmati rice. My favorite protein is the lamb meatballs but they are an up charge. The service is phenomenal. All the employees have been super helpful and very patient especially since I always have like 4 different bowls I'm trying to make at once. This Cava gets 5 stars from me. We tried to come here the day before they opened when they were giving away free meals, but the love was wrapped around the building. We came back for a team lunch a few days later. We didn't get there until about 12:30 and it was crowded. The love moved fast, but the restaurant is not made for a lot of people. It's very loud and there isn't very much seating. We had a group of 7 and we were able to find a table, but we had to split up. You also can't move the tables, so the largest group that can sit together is 4. As for the food -- it's a build your own Mediterranean style restaurant (think Chipotle). It's similar to Yafo. There are no suggested options. You can get a bowl or pita and do a salad or grain base. I did a salad base with SplendidGreens. It was a mix of kale and Brussels sprouts (and something else I can't remember). You get one protein -- I picked spicy lamb meatballs (there's an upcharge) You get three sauces and I got roasted red pepper hummus, harissa, and crazy feta. You get as many toppings as you want and I got all except olives and lettuce (and they were out of the seasonal veggies). You then finish with one dressing and I got lemon herb tahini. They also gave me pita with my bowl. Overall, I really liked it. The lamb meatballs were delicious, but I wish they gave you more than 4 small meatballs. I probably wouldn't get harissa again because while it was good, the spice overtook the flavor of the whole bowl. I loved the SplendidGreens base. Much more unique than your normal salad base. The drink options are really good. They make their own sodas, but I went for the lemonades. I mixed the cucumber lime mint with the classic lemonade. Overall, I think I like Yafo better, but it's definitely close. I think Cava has better choices for your base. I really enjoyed my meal and I would come back again, but either with a smaller group or I would get it to go. read more

First time! While on vaca to Charlotte went to this spot for dinner. Really clean place and friendly servers. I got a bowl to which you can choose items. The brown rice looked so good. Roasted veggies good but slightly burnt. I mean the Brussel spouts were black. The meat balls were great. The falafel was nasty!!!! The garlic sauce was delicious. I wanted more to add to a dish I'm making. I would go back and consider the falafel was a one time error. Worth a visit. read more

I tried Cava last night after finding an offer for a free meals and man was it delicious. The line was long but it moved pretty fast. The free meal offer did not come with any restrictions so I was super excited. I had no idea what to expect but I was happy to try it. Think of Chipotle with Greek and Mediterranean options. There were so many options it was hard to decide. This place is great if you are vegan or vegetarian.It is located in the Park Road shopping center which made parking pretty easy. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I got the greens and grains bowl. There were around 6 or more greens to choose from including arugula, spinach, romaine, spring mix etc. I got the romaine with brown basmati rice, braised lamb, chicken, tzatziki sauce, red pepper hummus, feta cheese, carrot and cranberries mix(I think that is what it was) topped with yogurt fill sauce. The bowl was full to say the least. It also came with a warm pit and I tried the Raspberry Lemonade mix with the Cucumber Mint Lemonade. In all everything was delicious. The staff on November 8 were absolutely amazing. I can't begin to tell you how much so instead I'll say. They represented with exceptional customer service skills and answered all my questions. Sorry was hungry so no picture of the bowl made it to post.... Now on to the food I got a bowl of what I call everything. And I absolutely loved it. I normally would get a more specific bowl but all I can do is tell a little of what was in the bowl. Since no restaurant seems to place the stickers in the windows since 2020 so you can no longer remember what you're ordering. I did get white rice with black lentils and lettuce. Then I got brined pickles and onions. Black olives, goat cheese, spicy chicken, eggplant, cucumber and tomato. Came here March 10 at 8pm and the staff was getting ran through. A bunch of us walked in at the same time and it seemed they also had 10 online orders lined up. Despite all this the staff was super friendly and the food was the best it's ever been. These people deserve a raise. It was also neat and clean despite the rush. read more

Came in this afternoon and the this place was a mess. There was only two people working and the women was on here phone and didn't pay attention to anyone in line. Now I don't know if she was working on her phone or just socially on her phone but she did not address the customers at all. And the man was making fresh rice and then trying to take some orders but needed to refill lettuce. When I got there there was three people in front of me and by time I got up to order one other people came from the back- maybe they were on break.... And they jumped right in and started taking orders and then two minutes later another person comes out from the back. But the countertops were a mess and the food everything was running low, nothing was being cooked. The tables were not clean in the dining room, high chairs were out like this place was just a mess. And it took several minutes to get through the line. I had a terrible experience today at Cava. Lisa, the scooper gave me very small portions, and when I politely asked for slightly more, she was very rude about it. Lisa was very standoffish and made me feel very uncomfortable. As a result, I did not get the bowl I was hoping for. Yes, Chopt was here first, but the spicy lamb meatballs might help make CAVA win out. Can only imagine what might happen if YAFO had a location closer than SouthPark. Kudos for making a colorful, tasty, healthy meal when my wife is going without dairy for a bit...seriously hard to not enjoy some cheese. Also nice that all ingredients are prepared for easy consumption without a knife, so one-handed eating when handling a kid is easy squeezy. The first time I went here, right after they opened, wasn't very memorable...other than for the hard lentils. I found the menu a little daunting, even though I lived in the middle east for awhile and am a huge fan of the cuisine. Since then though, I've discovered what I like and how to order and consider this my favorite "healthy" fast food! My go-to order is the supergreens/grain bowl with harissa honey chicken as the protein. My favorite 3 spreads are the hummus, baba ghanoush, and tzatziki. I add pickled cabbage, diced cucumber/tomatoes, and top it off with their yogurt dressing. I haven't tried but I'm sure I can save this as a favorite on their app. This location is convenient and comfortable...a huge improvement from the former Fuel Pizza here. Staff is very friendly.
