Absolutely loved Cava. It was the preview day so they were slammed packed, but they somehow kept the line moving and the food flowing! Also, despite being so busy staff members still found the time to walk around and make sure people where doing fine and happy with their meals! This location is pretty easy to find located in park road shopping center. It's middle sized on the inside so during peak times seating may get tough, but not to bad. I went with brown rice and romaine as my base and braised lamb and lamb meatballs as protein. They also have tons of great toppings and sauce options that makes your bowl magical! I'm definitely a fan and will be back soon! read more

Opening preview night was packed and for good reason. The food was fresh and the service was amazing! I got the grain/green bowl with falafel & the fresh seasonal vegetables. Loaded with sides and dips! They do not skimp on anything. Also got a hot mini pita to go with my bowl. I also got a side of the grilled meatballs! Delish! The fresh drinks are delicious. I got the Apple cinnamon vanilla- tasted like fall! Next time I will try the Greek Mediterranean soup! Sounded so good! It's good for takeout cause they don't have a huge amount of seating. But then again it's food that's fast. So seats open as fast as they are filled. Don't be fooled by a long line here, it's worth the wait. They are efficient and have a great system! I love the concept of Cava the fresh healthy Mediterranean option! They have a list of GF/DF and other allergy info. All nutritional value info is posted as well. This is like a Cava tradition for me, my second time being the first to review Cava in Charlotte lol. I love this place so much and the staff as well as the food is great! Today they had the preview meal day and guest had the opportunity to enjoy an assortment of Mediterranean options. You select your green, grains and toppings oh and don't forget the awesome in-house pita chips. This new CLT cava is located near Firestone and Harris Teeter in the Park Road Shopping Center. The architectural work is great and from the outside it looks as if it's two levels but it's not. What I love the most about Cava is the way they give back to the community. During community day they offer free dinner to the community in exchange for donations that will benefit a local farming non profit. All proceeds raised will be donated to Sow Much Good! I was happy to hear that cava was opening right down the street from me! I go there quite frequently and really enjoy the food and the workers are always so friendly. I am a nurse and one of my most recent trips there they treated me to my meal! I felt so appreciated after they had done this for me! After working 12 hours you just want to go home and relax!! I hope this place keeps up the good work for the long run. Everyone has been talking about this place; BELIEVE THE HYPE. This place serves healthy meals: quick, casual and tasty. Think of a healthier/fresher version of Chipotle. You choose your base (greens or grains or both), add proteins and veggies, and choose your sauce. I swear by this place y'all I'm not even kidding! Cava is a chipotle serving style with Mediterranean cuisine which the best combo IMO. They have practically a limitless amount of options for vegans & vegetarians, but also have a great selection of proteins as well. You start by picking your grain or greens then you pick your hummus then your protein, then your toppings/sauce/dressing. Super fast and convenient, I always use the app because it's quick & I can just run in and pick it up & when you spend a certain amount of $$ you get a free meal. Staff is always great, never had a problem with them. I have to say one thing that cava stands out for is their environmental support and priorities, all the utensils, bowls, and even straws are biodegradable. All their sodas are non-commercial and organic, and all the juices are made in house with real ingredients. read more

This place is good! I'm glad to see one added to the Park Road shopping center. On my most recent visit I opted for the soup and mini pita. I like that you can mix and match up the options to ensure you get exactly what you want. I asked for half chicken and half falafel. I loaded up on the toppings! I live close by so eat here every week. I can't remember how many times I have to wait for another 20 mins even I ordered online 45 mins ago. Some of the employees seems in a bad mood all the time. The food is good but the store manager really needs to do something to improve the way they take online orders and make their employees happier. read more

I decided to go to the Park Road location because the University location's service and food was declining. When I arrived they were totally disorganized. The person at the counter was confused about where to find the orders. She finally finds it, right by the register. I leave the store only to arrive home and my order is completely wrong. I call the location to request a refund and for whatever reason that's not possible, she offered to replace my bowl which isn't an option considering I live almost 30 mins away...Whoever fixed my meal had one job...the order slip was extremely clear. read more

Cava has the best chicken pita around! They are a great quarantine lunch. Cava started using Uber Eats for delivery so you should try it out! The grilled chicken is excellent. They are my GoTo for Mediterranean. And I only ever get the grilled chicken pita. ‍ Love the tzatziki sauce, and throw in a little Greek vinaigrette for good measure. They also have a selection of teas and juices that are very good. read more

Taylor and Shay were 2 of 3 people working at this location and they crushed it! They were super friendly and helpful despite there being a long line forming and only having a few people to rely on to make the customers experience great. I had heard great things about cava but had never been. I'm so glad I found out that this location would be opening AND that the food would be FREE. If that hadn't been the case, I would have kept putting it off. Anyway, despite being fairly busy for their lunchtime preview, it was a good experience. Like everyone says, it's like the Greek version of Chipotle with way more options. My bowl was delicious. I really loved the feta dip and wish I had gotten 3 scoops of that instead of the red pepper eggplant and roasted red pepper dip. The bowl was filling. Also, their drinks were good. The staff were very friendly and parking at that time was no problem. I would go again. The only thing that would keep me from going every day is the price. :-) read more

I was in the area looking for something to eat, the modern and clean look of the restauran form the outside invited me in. Not knowing how or what to order I reached out to one of the employees and explained it was my first time in this restaurant. She walked me thru the entire menu and helped me decide, always with an smile and good attitude! I was feeling good already, but when I tried the food... man! I have been to this location a few times now and have never received good service. The last time I went (last time I will ever go) was the worst service yet. This was during busy hours so i understand that it can get a little hectic. Starting from asking which rice I want to which dressings I want was a complete mess. Firstly, I was rushed for each section of my bowl, secondly, I didn't even get a chance to order my protein that I wanted, when one of the employees just gave everyone in line Chicken. While this was going on people in the back were arguing and I couldn't understand or communicate anything to the employee asking what I want for toppings. The whole time I was there the employees made it feel like the people ordering were in the wrong for asking what we want if they got it wrong. If you want to go there for good food (for the most part) and don't care about bad service then Cava off Park rd is the spot to go. read more

Wow why did I wait so long to try this place?! While doing some shopping in the area I found myself starving and wanted something I knew would be quick so I got in line and eagerly awaited my turn. I made my pita with braised lamb and yogurt dil sauce along with my chosen toppings. The assortments of meats and sauces they have available makes it tough to choose but you can't go wrong! Simple menu and concept but it is done to perfection. This has become my new obsession! read more

Came to the opening of the new location at Park Rd Charlotte. Amazing atmosphere and staff was very welcoming. I order the salad with half chicken and braised lamb. It is to a great place but now it awful. Staff is always rude and anytime I asked for more rice or pita bread there was an extra charge. Tonight when I ordered that had nothing out as it was being put away and the chocked I was give was the Harassa chicken which is way to hot for me. I been in 4 times over the last 2 month and the service gets worse. They are officially off my list I will anyplace else but there. read more

The stars are for the attitude of the lady working today Nov 5th at approximately 2:30pm only. The young lady with the BLACK AND BLONDE FAUX locs has one of the nastiest attitudes I have every witnessed in a restaurant. If my wife hadn't ordered already I would have left and she didn't even wait on us. She was doing the online and/or call in orders and had a VERY nasty attitude with EVERY person that came in and asked for their food. She was making the orders and dropping F bombs constantly. I don't usually write reviews like this because I value people's employment but this young lady was WAY OVER the top with attitude to the point of me feeling uncomfortable. I understand they are probably short staffed but the attitude was so bad other employees were telling her to chill out. Once again the 2 stars are for her attitude only. The food was as always good and other employees did a great job with being short. WOW!!! read more

All that was left was lids for my dressing, bread, paying, and leaving. Another customer walked in BEHIND me and instead of finishing my order, the employee completely stopped helping me and took the new customer through the ENTIRE line while I stood there waiting. I then had to wait 5-8 minutes while the second customer slowly decided on ingredients and changed her mind multiple times. The person behind me got almost full uninterrupted service while I -- the first customer in line -- was left standing there waiting. What made it even worse was the manager's response. He defended the employee, told me she "did nothing wrong," and completely dismissed my frustration with a "have a nice evening." The issue wasn't just the wait. It was being skipped over and then treated like my frustration didn't matter. I've been there around 5 times in the last month, but after this experience, I will never return.

No wait service, I saw a family sit down and one parent go on line to order at the register. You're then given a number and the food is brought to your table when ready. Everything tasted good and I noticed the quality ingredients in the menu, but the New Yorker in me winces at a $15 bacon, egg & cheese. The gluten free Blazin' Buffalo Bowl tasted good if you want to have something fresh with a little kick. Good: -Notorious B.E.C. -Blazin' Buffalo Bad: -Parking space availability

While it looks quiet from the outside, inside you will find a lot of hustle and bustle as hungry patrons line up to get their breakfast sandwiches, or their lunch depending on the time of day! The place is part neighborhood market, selling beer and wine along with snacks, and part deli serving made to order sandwiches, and salads, along with prepackaged sides and fixings like chicken or egg salad. I finally got a chance to come in around lunch time and was very exciting to dive into my turkey sandwich which came with bacon pepper Jack and a chipotle spread. It was delicious, just a perfect sandwich for lunch. Nothing fancy or over the top, and it was priced very reasonably which is hard to find these days. This place is a gem.
