Cava is easily the best fast casual chain at the moment! I love those bowls, especially the signature ones! Super tasty and healthy and delicious. Their calorie counts on their bowls aren't over the top, which is nice. They're very reasonably priced, and the food is worth it! Highly recommend the balsamic date chicken bowl! I typically get pick up or order in but it's great for lunch or dinner! read more

I always compare CAVA to Chipotle (similar concept), but I think CAVA is SO much better!! The unique flavors and endless options/combinations are incomparable to any other restaurant. Although it's a little on the pricey side, you pay for good quality ingredients and a fairly large portion size. (I usually end up using my bowl for two meals.) My go-to choice is the Grain Bowl with Harissa chicken ($1 extra). I enjoy spicy food so I choose the Harissa and Roasted Red Pepper Hummus Spreads. I also love the Tahini Caesar Dressing and would definitely recommend trying one of their dressing options! Another huge plus is that you can get unlimited add-ons! And if you're indecisive, they also have the option of getting half and half of two meats. I absolutely love the food, but sometimes (as with most fast food restaurants) the service can be poor. I've never had a problem with the food being ready on time. (When I order online, it's usually ready for pick up in about 10-15 min.) However, some of the staff can be extremely rude or curt. read more

CAVA - Customized Grain Bowl ($10) so delicious!! - Mediterranean Near Me - Bridgewater, New Jersey

Came in to meet with some friends on a Friday night. They had never tried Cava before, so they wanted to see what the hype was about. It wasn't too crowded when we walked in, but we saw the dinner rush start to pick up around 8PM, right before we ordered. After getting a brief overview of the menu, we were ready to order. I have been a Cava fan for some time, so I went for my usual custom order. The employee who helped start off our orders was pleasant. He made sure to clarify what we wanted and ask about additions/customizations. As we made our way down the line to build our orders, we had a few questions regarding dips/sauces. Most of the employees were helpful in answering. Once our orders were complete, we arrived at the register to pay. The employee here wasn't very friendly. I had asked about having the complementary mini pitas to our order, and she barely responded. I had also mentioned using my phone number for the Cava rewards on my app. Once again, she barely acknowledged what I said and mumbled to ask for a phone number. We all grabbed our orders and went to find a place to sit. There was a decent number of tables that were open. We found one to accommodate us; it was just a bit dirty. Thankfully, I had some Lysol wipes to get the crumbs off and make it clean for us to eat. I had went for a Build It Greens/Grains Bowl with Braised Lamb, Roasted Vegetables, and many toppings/dips/sauces. In terms of quality, this definitely met the standard I had expected. Ingredients were fresh, and flavors were vibrant. As usual, Cava's Garlic Dressing blended the flavors of the ingredients very well together. My friends who had tried Cava for the first time greatly enjoyed the food as well. Overall, this location was solid. I've had better and worse experiences. Staff did a decent job overall. Ingredient quality and consistency was evident. Cleanliness was decent overall. I would pay a visit to this location again if I found myself in the area. read more

Cava is my go to spot for needing a nice full meal but wanting to also feel heathy and not disgusting. I think of cava as the heathy, Mediterranean chipotle. If you're nervous- don't be. You can get a grain or green or both- that's what I suggest! Then you have your hummus and side pita, your protein and the your add on. My ALWAYS ORDER is : Brown rice and arugula Side pita Eggplant and traditional hummus Grilled chicken Tomato and onion Tomato and cucumber Cabbage slaw Pickled onions Feta Lentils Topped with lemon herb tahini sauce ! You can also get a predetermined bowl but I suggest to just go full send and make your own. LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THESE FLAVORS!! Cava is absolutely delicious. I am always so satisfied with my bowl. It's savory and zesty. It's packed with all your macros: proteins, carbs, fats ! And it's not bland at all. It's packed with flavors. It's sooo good. I can't say enough good things about it. I am a regular here And to top it off- I feel good when I finish. Typically when I eat a big bowl like that I feel bloated or stuffed - no this is wonderful. It makes me feel so good afterwards !! Please do your mind body and soul a favor and get this food! read more

This was an unfortunate CAVA experience. It started off with the mobile pickup time estimate being off by 15 minutes. After waiting for my order I was then informed that they were out of the Garlic Dressing, a usual favorite of mine that left my double harissa bowl VERY spicy. It was not until I got home that I realized the pitta was missing. The guy who was working the pickup counter was the one highlight in this order. He handled the busy crowd well and was kind to anxious customers. read more

Good food, but a shame because of absolutely terrible pickup service. Ordered on my phone at 11:30am, email receipt said pickup would be at 12pm. Food was not ready until 12:30. I understand things happen, I'm reasonable but there wasn't a line to order for indoor dining.. no explanation of the late pickup service.. people lined up waiting for their orders with no idea when they would Be ready.. and no one calling the first names when the orders were ready. Just a mess! read more

Went today, 11/30 for the first time before the lunch crowd. Ordered the harissa chicken avocado bowl. Like other said it operates similar to Chipotle. The employee who started my bowl scoped the greens with tongs and I noticed she stared at a piece of the greens. Turns out she decided to leave an enormous, inedible Brussel sprout in my bowl vs discarding it. I don't wear dentures, but I'm pretty sure only a cow or dinosaur could chew and bite this hard and dry piece. Besides that everything was great and I would go back. read more

Comparing CAVA to Chipotle would be an insult. CAVA is 10x better! They are always consistent with their fresh and tasty food! The staff is great and work at a fast pace. Inside is very spacious but around lunch time it can be packed! If you are planning to dine at CAVA for lunch I would suggest ordering online. I have ordered online a few times & each time my food was ready when I got there. CAVA has so many choices for toppings etc. The bowl/pita combinations that you can create are endless. I usually get a grain & greens bowl but I switch my toppings up each time. One thing that I don't switch up is my spread. I absolutely love the red harissa (tastes like a spicy marinara). A drink is a must from CAVA. I have tried most of their seasonal drinks and teas but the cucumber mint is my favorite! The only negative thing that I can say about CAVA is their prices are a little high, but you get what you pay for. Definitely give this place a shot if you're in the area! read more

I ordered 2 bowls to go today. When I went to pick my order up, they gave me the wrong order 3 times..? How do you mistake an order 3x? When I opened one of the bowels, I was amazed at what I saw. So, I called the store and spoke to some woman who challenged me, saying it was "impossible" what I saw. I've never been challenged like this as a customer nor would I ever treat someone else this way while working for a chain. Maybe Cava should close next? read more

3.8/5. This is definitely Mediterranean Chipotle. It is good and 1 bowl can be shared if neither of you are hungry. There's a good amount of carbs as well as protein in each bowl. The line moves quickly. There's plenty of seating around. We ordered the Harissa Avocado bowl which has a kick of spice in the meat already so we were glad we replaced the sauce with Greek Vinaigrette. Overall, I would try this place at least once. read more

So many delicious, fun, and colorful add ons to customize your bowl! Online ordering is so easy! I love that it breaks down the nutritional info! And that fried Pita bread on the side If you're tired of the boring and bland routine of Chipotle, then Cava is the refreshing alternative you've been looking for. This is good food that's also good for you, and any place that sells something called "Crazy Feta" is definitely worth checking out. With so many ways to customize your bowl, you could potentially make every bite delicious! I devoured my bowl over the course of 10 minutes in complete silence as my attention was magnetized towards the food. Really an excellent meal at a good price. I ordered the spicy chicken and avocado pita, which I mistakenly thought was a bowl. Flavors were excellent but it was wrapped like a burrito but didn't close - makes for an unnecessary messy experience. Definitely order a side of the fried tortilla chips - worth the calories. read more

This food is perfect. The crispy pita is perfectly crunchy but soft and buttery. The falafel is delicious and the sauces are immaculate. So much amazing flavors but nothing clashes. The spindrift cucumber seltzer was the most ideal drink for this meal. My boyfriend says it reminded him of the cucumber juul pod so be weary lol. This particular cucumber seltzer is my fave tho and I'm happy they had it. I loved the harissa and the roasted eggplant. None of the flavors were overwhelming which is important with build your own bowls. Everything is labeled w a v, vt, or gf. I want more !! read more

If I'm ever around the area and need to have a quick bite, this is my go to. I have gluten and dairy allergies, and CAVA's options still give me a variety I can rely on, plus it's delicious! I always get a bowl with greens, protein and toppings galore. While you can only choose 3 hummus (more than enough), you have unlimited toppings with some of them being extra charge like the avocado. Their dressings are also scrumptious, although I usually get without because the hummus does the plate justice. Service is usually pretty good. At times I'll get a server that seems to be having a hectic day, but most service is quick and efficient. At times, the bathrooms need to be cleaner as they may not have toilet paper or the toilets are dirty. And if I ask for extra protein (which I pay for), I have to remind the server of that. Other than that, pretty good spot to eat at! read more

We were looking for gluten-free options in the area, since we would be around there for lunch time, and came upon this. After deciding to get our lunch here, I heard about the chain on a podcast, and then realized that I had marked down a location closer to home as one I wanted to try! It's a fast-casual Mediterranean spot somewhat in the style of Chipotle or the Simple Greek, and they have some great add-ins available at no extra cost. They also offer right rice, their own blend of protein-rich veggies, which you can get instead of other grains. They also offer greens and grains, which is a nice way to get some veggies into the bowl. My protein was braised lamb, and the bowl tasted great with all the toppings and add-ins! I would definitely come back to this location if I was in the area, and will probably be visiting the location closer to home! read more

It's a busy workday. You haven't got your workout in, and you want something tasty, healthy, and fast. CAVA Mediterranean Grill has got you covered. Ingredients are top notch, and this place offers more ingredients you can choose from versus fast casual restaurants like Chipotle. They had to have chosen good suppliers, as the ingredients I taste are fresh upon first bite; no signs of worn looking meat or vegetables. Just look at what you can customize, an example build your own salad from me: Half super greens, half splendid greens, harissa honey chicken, eggplant pepper dip x2, red pepper hummus, fire roasted corn, lentil tabbouleh x2, tomato+cucumber x2, tomato+onion x2, Fresno peppers, pickled onion, crumbled feta, pita crisps, lemon herb tahini and skhug sauce. Pricing is very fair, for your money's worth, a salad bowl practically gives you a diverse variety of legumes, carbs, and protein. For $13.57, I also got a side of their scrumptious and well textured pita chips. DO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEIR REWARDS APP. The rewards you build up do save you a couple of purchases if you frequent this chain a lot. I believe CAVA will continue expanding. It's the choice restaurant for the mindful healthy generation. read more

Amazing food, and the employees are amazing Daniel was super nice and considerate Definitely will be back again!!

Service, food, staff were awesome!! Food was delicious. This was my first time and i will be back!!

Stopped by today for the first time for lunch... I think it's pretty accurate when people call it the Mediterranean Chipotle because it's pretty much the same setup. You can build a bowl with greens, grains, or half and half. They also have pitas. You pick the type of greens, then rice Basmati or Brown then dips or spreads then protein then toppings, then dressing. Plus a small pita bread accompanied the bowl. I decided on the greens/grains bowl $9.37+ Started with the super greens and brown rice topped with tzatziki sauce. For protein I had grilled chicken. Onto the toppings... tomato and onion salad, diced cucumber and tomato, Cauliflower quinoa tabbouleh, white bean salad, and crumbled feta cheese. For dressing I had some yogurt dill and lemon herb tahini. For my drink I tried the watermelon mint juice $2.50+ for a small. I was really happy with my selections everything tasted really fresh and I liked my combination. I probably should have tried a few more toppings and sauces but I wasn't sure if I would like everything. I noticed my bowl wasn't that full compared to the others so maybe next time I'll be more adventurous. The bowl was very filling and delicious and I also enjoyed the small pita bread. The watermelon mint juice was also pretty tasty and I got a refill to go. I definitely plan on returning and highly recommend. Ps. If you download the CAVA App you can save $3.00 on your first purchase using the app. Then you also receive other offers in the future. read more

Ordered a wrap, drink and bowl from DoorDash and the restaurant forgot the bowl which was $25 (through DoorDash). Had to make an order for pick up through their website. When I when to pick it up, they forgot to put the dressing in the bag. I asked for the dressing and brought it home. When I opened the salad bowl, there was no hummus, eggplant or harissa even though I had added it to the order. How hard is it to get a salad right when all the ingredients are printed right on the receipt?! To make things worse, there was a piece of sharp wood(?) in my salad that cut my gum. Worst place ever. Will not get food from here again. read more
