This place was awesome. Came here on a whim after seeing all of the great reviews and it didn't disappoint! I also had a pineapple mint drink which was so yummy and refreshing. I will definitely be back! Everything tasted so fresh and it was very clean inside the restaurant. So much better than Chipotle!! read more

CAVA - amazing!! Grains & greens bowl with brown rice, feta, spinach, chicken, tomatoes, cabbage slaw, and lemon dill tzatziki dressing - Mediterranean Near Me - Bridgewater, New Jersey

Greek-focused. Similar to Chipotle with more options. Pick a bowl or pita with geens and/or a rice then a protein, hummus, veggies and sauces for $11. Bowl was a good portion. I went spicy chicken, feta, olives, yogurt & dill sauce...outstanding!!! I'll be back! read more

Summer menu at Cava is mouth-watering and delicious. Especially the spicy lentil soup, Jasmine tea and a plate of roasted seasoned vegetables. One of a kind and savory! Don't miss it for the world! read more

My new favorite spot, and not just mine. It doesn't matter what time of day it is, it always has lots of patrons. It is not crowded but you can tell others love it as much as I do. I love the food and knowing where my ingredients are being sourced. If you go online, the site is excellent for nutritional values. The process is similar to Chipotle, Eons Greek Food For Life and Blaze pizza. You walk down an assembly line where you build the items you would like to eat. You start with salads and grains, add the dips, add the protein, add toppings like feta cheese, tomato salads and then you can choose your dressing. You get a choice of having pita on the side. If you aren't into that, they also have pita rolls where you can place everything into pita vs a salad bowl. They offer kid versions too. I could eat here everyday. Just be careful, you think because it is salad and healthy choices that it might not be high in carbs or calories but they add up quickly if you don't pay attention. If you do make it there, you will probably see me! read more

CAVA - Work lunch. Great find. - Mediterranean Near Me - Bridgewater, New Jersey

We came here based off Yelp reviews when the 2 diners we were wanting to go to didn't have parking and Acapulco didn't open until 2. It's aesthetically pleasing and while the food was good, customer service was sub-par (we mentioned this was our first time and neither employee bothered to help explain how it works). My fiancé asked for lamb meatballs and chicken and was charged for both which was ridiculous especially since the "protein" portions are seriously small. The toppings were also skimpy which was also disappointing because they were good. So because of customer service and prices being a 1-2 and the food quality a 4, I'm giving them a 3. The soda was very good as well. The meatballs (which I ordered with my greens and grains bowl) were tasty and our 3 year old enjoyed them as well. The carrot sticks on his kids meal looked old (white over them) which was concerning. For 2 adults and a 3 year old, it was almost $40...for a Mediterranean version of Chipotle. I don't think we'd return. read more

Cava is the Mediterranean version of Chipotle, only with much "better for you" food and service. I'd never heard of Cava before but left very pleased with a healthy but filling meal I just had. The grain and salad bowls are the right amount of food and they let you mix and match what proteins and grains you want, and you can even do half and half. Food is reasonably priced, place was very clean and neat on the dining room floor and where the food was being prepared. The staff was friendly and attentive and the wait was very reasonable. I had a grain bowl with the saffron rice and baby spinach with grilled meat balls and topped with harissa sauce, roasted red pepper hummus, cabbage slaw, tomato and cucumber, cauliflower quinoa tabbouleh, and pita crisps. My bowl tasted amazing and the best part was that I did not feel guilty about eating it because I knew the ingredients were all healthy. And the apple cinnamon vanilla whiskey drink was amazing! It was an overall good experience. I would recommend it and I will definitely revisit if I'm in the area again. read more

The same concept as Chipotle but a better and healthier alternative. You get more bang for your buck and the food is much tastier. Many toppings to choose from that you can get a no extra cost. If you like Mediterranean food then this spot is a must to try. Lunch time get's very busy during the workweek. read more

I love Cava but this location is truly awful. My group ordered on DoorDash. The location completely messed up every single grain bowl of 7 bowls in our order. It's not the most complicated menu. We submitted each order online and they had plenty of time to check and make it right. In addition to the ingredients in each bowl being incorrect, the food was cold even though the location is literally across the highway. They also forgot all the dressing orders. I will never order from this location again. It's unfortunate because many of the other locations of Cava (particularly in the DC area) are so good. read more

Been here a few times in the last few weeks because a co-worker loves coming here for lunch and takes me along. It's basically a Mediterranean version of Chipotle where you pick your base, dips, protein, toppings and dressing. I tried the super green salad base with crazy feta (jalapeno infused feta) and harissa (tomato spread) with chicken and various toppings such as beets and onions. My co-worker got a pita and it looked crispy and delicious. The food is definitely fresh and you don't feel sluggish afterwards. It's a solid spot for lunch and I can see this being in my rotation for a while. read more

Nice place, good food and not expensive, order online is quick and you can eat in too.

The food is delicious at this fast-casual, middle-eastern cuisine restaurant. I've been to this location a few times. Currently, they do a good job of enforcing distant seating. For someone new, the options could be overwhelming and the staff could be more helpful by mentioning what's included and what's not. read more

Delicious vegetarian bowls -- great hearty portions at such a good price!! I got the hummus and the harissa in my bowl and both were great. I liked them mixed as well. The brown rice and lentils were filling bases and they're fine with you getting half and half. read more

Excellent, fresh, unique, flavorful food, very friendly and helpful staff. Mediterranean Chipotle is a pretty accurate description of the style and local In addition they have seasonal options, soups, as well as intriguing beverage choices. I tried a greens and grains bowl for my first order. Added every topping they would let me try. Everything was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the lamb meatballs, hummus, harissa, pickled banana peppers, and lemon tahini dressing. I will be back often. read more

So good. Get the grain and salad bowl, do yourself a favor. Add the dill yogurt dressing, hummus, and whatever your heart desires.

This place was a great addition to the Village at Bridgewater Commons. I often stop by this area to grab coffee or a quick bite at chipotle and was excited when yelp recommended the new business. I'm a huge fan of falafel and anything Mediterranean so of course I had to stop in. I would describe this place as a Mediterranean chipotle? Qdoba? Saladworks? Basically a build your own, quick & affordable meal. I'm all for their variety of sauces and spreads, loved their pita, and their falafel made me want to go back for more. The service was definitely blah, with the girl at the front counter having described their rice as "shitty" and not wanting to explain the menu, but after reading other reviews I saw that they have a mini pita option that comes with a side of lentil soup! So I will be returning for more! read more

So, I'm all on board with Cava. Cava kicks f*cking ass! It's my new spot to eat healthy. Picture you found this amazing looking girl. Dresses nice. Beautiful face. Smells great. Has the eyes of an angel. When she speaks, you almost don't even listen because you're just looking at her, gazing at her in happiness and also praying she's not an idiot. And then..... you find out, that she has the most amazing personality, so now you're hooked. That is Cava. You go in; and he's a gorgeous, bright looking place with a good environment and smells awesome with all their food. So you get to choose at the start a bunch of grains or veggies. I always get spinach and brown rice. Complex carbs and good greens people, it's the way to a six-pack. Then you choose some awesome sides from hummus, Tzatziki sauce to a nice spicy feta cheese. Then you choose our protein, which ranges from lamb to chicken. Eventually they're going to get steak, hut the meats are pretty good. Then, you get to choose UNLIMITED amounts of toppings. I literally pile my toppings 3 inches over the bowl. I go in on the veggies, which range from cabbage slaw, diced cucumbers, tomato onion salads etc. it's about $10, but you get so much bang for your buck. Just pile that mother f-we high as Wiz Khalifa and indulge! It's healthy, good tasting and better than Chipotle. Yeah. I said it. The staff is friendlier and there's better options and no ones trying you forcefully to hurry up. If ever there was a sponsor opportunity or hype person for Cava, I would so do it for them. I rock cava almost everyday. Whether I go in or make a friend get me it. It's the best! A lot of you people need to eat healthier and customize your food your way and eat r quick and cava helps! I'm telling you. Most of my health and fitness addict fitness always turned to chipotle; but cava is the new spot. I've been pitching them to everyone. They're so good tasting and the staff is so damn nice. Check em' our! If you don't like it, food is on me anywhere else, next time you see me there. Seriously. It's the best! read more

Pretty good food. Great price point. Love that you can watch them make your food and ask for more or less of what they are putting in the bowl. Healthy alternative when needing a quick grab. So many options, very delicious and fills you up. Great price point. Not many places like this one in this area.

My husband and I decided to try this place after walking by it a few times on our way to Chipotle across the street. So glad we did! The food is fresh, delicious, and a much healthier option! We've been back 3 times over the past month trying different options. Staff is friendly and patient when you ask questions, the establishment is clean with lots of windows for natural light. Love it! read more

Love love love... FALAFEL was great I love the fact you select exactly what you want like chipotle.

We went here after reading the reviews and we were not disappointed! I would have been confused I had not grabbed a menu on the way in to help guide me through the choices available. Got a grain bowl with half saffron and half brown basmati rice which was perfect. The spreads we tried were all good, but favorites were the feta and the tahini. The chicken and lamb meatballs were both delicious. We also got all the topping and the only one we did not like was the pickled peppers which had a strange flavor. Don't forget to ask for a pita, they will give you one f you ask. Definitely coming again. read more

It was very good, everything was fresh and flavorful. The juices are aaamazing and they change the flavors every so often. I would definitely revisit read more

I have been to Cava Restaurant four times now, everytime hoping things would be better, but alas. The black lentils and the saffron rice are consistently undercooked. Everytime, I chewed on the black lentils fearing a tooth breakage. The fourth time I was there, things were so undercooked that I had stomach pain all night. Have decided not to go there again. I will try out a different Cava location just to assess if the negligence is limited to the Bridgewater location only, and might update my review thereafter. read more

Love this for a quick easy meal. Lots of fun and healthy options. Also my vegan daughter can find plenty to eat as well.

Chipotle of the Mediterranean! This place has super fresh ingredients all laid out in "Chipotle" style to help you get your Mediterranean fix. So many combinations are possible with all the fixins' and proteins. My favorites include the Spicy Lamb Meatballs, Crazy Feta Spread, and the Lemon Herb Tahini. It's hard to pick a favorite combination, but luckily you have the opportunity to change it up every time you're there! Don't forget a seasonal juice while you are at it, especially the ridiculously tasty Watermelon Mint. All of them are just the right amount of sweet, and won't leave your taste buds shocked with a sugary overload. Also, my 2 year old loved the Kids Meal which was sized very well and is perfect for even older kids. This place is a must try. read more

I love the food here and took some co workers here today as they had never tried it. As usual food was delicious but also as usual the service was not. Yes, they are fast but I always feel I have a "soup nazi" experience being rushed a given annoyed looks as I'm picking ingredients. Believe me I don't take long to decide they just always make me uncomfortable and my co workers felt the same. The employees here are always rude. read more

My friend told me this place is like "Greek Chipotle" and I think that is a fair description. The high quality of the food and cleanliness of the place is similar to Chipotle. Like a Mediterranean chipotle, the food is definitely quite tasty. I find they skimp on the meat and overload on the salad, even when you pay for extra meat. Beyond that the servings are fairly large so you can easily save a good amount for a mid day snack. read more
