Really excited to have Mediterranean food so close! I have been twice already and the first time I got a pita which was great. Second time I did a rice bowl which was better Bc there's just more room to try the different toppings. The variety and quality of food is excellent. The only reason I give four stars is bc the floor by the beverage station and by the front door was really dirty. Maybe they just aren't taking the time to look since it's so new and busy, but someone needs to keep it clean. Third visit and the place has gone downhill. The signs were mostly missing so you didn't know what to ask for. They were out of tomatoes, beets, dressing, and much more. The chicken I got was cold and hard. The amount of rice didn't cover the bottom of the bowl. The prep area was a MESS. There was food everywhere in places it didn't belong. The girl making my bowl literally threw the stuff in. What a shame. read more

Stay away from this place. Unfortunately I got food intoxication after I ate here. They hire a bunch of kids that they definitely don't know anything (I'm being polite with words) about how to control food temperatures and keep everything clean and safe for customers. They are twenty in the kitchen doing who knows what...but tables and utensils area are disgusting . Dirty tables and food from previous customers on it. (Always!! not only that time I went) Last time while they were serving people, an employee was brushing the floor..hahahah! One of the first Rule to avoid while serving food to people. I'm so disappointed and disgusted that I won't never place a foot in the shitty place again. They shouldn't be allow to serve pigs either. read more

This is like the Mediterranean Chipotle. Been here a few times already and food is good. I usually go with a super greens and lentil bowl with 3 scoops of eggplant, extra red cabbage slaw, cucumbers, tomatoes and quinoa cauliflower mix with sriracha yougurt on top. Only con was we went here on a Sunday afternoon and I think there was only one other customer inside. I'd like to say more than half the tables were dirty. Also, one of the girls working on the greens/grains area never asks if you want a pita with your bowl whereas the other servers usually do, so don't forget to ask for your free pita(if you get a bowl). read more

CAVA - Braised Lamb bowl with tahini on the left and chicken bowl with sriracha yogurt - Mediterranean Near Me - Bridgewater, New Jersey

Food is consistently fresh and tasty. Enjoy going inside and looking at the options to assemble the meal that appeals to me at that moment which may be different than originally thought. read more

This place is so amazingly good - I would eat here every single day if I could. My favorite are the spicy lamb meatballs, so I find it very difficult to force myself to try something new when I go, but when I have, I've loved everything they serve (but seriously those meatballs are to die for)! What a GREAT concept for a quick meal! I feel like I eat a ton, but don't leave feeling gross - everything is just fresh and flavorful and healthy. read more

I love this place! I call it Mediterranean Chipotle but it's more like Chipotle if it reached its full potential and had applied itself more in school. Substitute Feta Cheese for Mexican cheese and pita bread for tortilla chips and you get the general idea except Cava offers more green options than boring lettuce. They have arugula, spinach and super greens so you can leave feeling healthy AF. The lamb and grilled meatballs offer some variety along with the delicious spreads. Roasted Tomato and Crazy Feta are my favorites. Don't forget to get the app for an added bonus. That's all I've got. read more

I come here regularly. I am always delighted. You build your own, so pick what you like! I usually end up eating half and taking the rest for lunch the next day. Glad they are here in Bridgewater!! read more

Okay I love Cava, I really do...but their customer service is meh. The food is like a step above chipotle in my eyes. The setup is almost identical to that of Chipotle...but yea, if you go give the braised lamb or the spicy lamb meatballs a try, and don't forget to grab the pita chips. Feel free to thank me in advance. (: read more

What a find! Trendy venue with delicious food, full of flavor and the ability to be creative! I chose the mini pitas with lamb meatballs (awesome!) and falafel. Add your favorite dips and toppings then get ready to make your mouth happy! Great food, good value, you must try this gem! read more

As evidenced by the long lines out the door at 2pm, CAVA is delicious! And so filling! I usually get a salad made with their splendid greens mix and my protein of choice, chicken. Total is around $11.40 which is pretty standard for salad lunches these days (eg sweetgreens) You honestly can't go wrong with any of the dips, but my favorite is the roasted pepper eggplant (not quite baba ghanouj but almost!) and the harissa is sooo good. Best harissa I've had! The green harissa dressing (not to be confused with the harissa dip) is supposed to have a kick to it, but i don't really get that. It's still really delicious and herby. Overall I would highly recommend! read more

I just heard about this place and it managed to move me from a Shake Shack craving to let's check out this new kid on the block. On the whole, I am definitely coming back for more. Cut into details: Food - 5/5 it is what people these days call the "Chipotle" styled joint where you have your choices of base, mains, sides, etc. You start with either salad bowl (they have an amazing variety), grain bowl (rice, couscous), pita, mini pitas or mini pita and soup. I chose the grain bowl and moved on to a serving of chicken and roasted veggies. They also have beef, lamb, falafel - something for everyone. Bt in between comes a choice that determines the flavor your dish will take. The base. I chose a regular hummus and feta, but I tasted the harissa from my husband 's bowl, super good. Am getting that next time. The fourth step is choosing the toppings. They have some 9 or 12 items in there, so ask for a walk-through like I did, if you are in there for the first time. Fifth step is the dressing - i went with sriracha yogurt and lemon herb - no regrets there. Loved them. We also got a rosemary limeade. I wasn't a huge fan of that though. It was a little too sour. Price: 5/5 it is definitely worth the $10. Very filling meal. Service: 5/5 attentive, helpful and with a smile. Interiors: 5/5 simple, neat and well maintained. No complaints. read more

Was really pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this place. Stopped in for dinner with my Mom tonight for the first time ever. We both got the salad bowls. I got lettuce, brown rice, lentils, falafel, olives, cabbage, cucumber, feta, hummus and some sauces. You get a mini pita on the side too. It came out to $25 for two big bowls and two fountain drinks, not too bad. I got the pineapple apple mint lemonade (I'm pretty sure thats what it was) and it was soooo good!! Everything was fresh and delicious. My only complaint was that the pita was not very soft. Will definitely be back! read more

CAVA - Bowl - Mediterranean Near Me - Bridgewater, New Jersey

After passing this place numerous times, we finally dropped in. I ordered a bowl with kale and lamb and whatever topics you see in the pic. I got a sampling of sauces. The bowl came with warm pita bread. And we ordered one fountain drink (not your usual coke and Pepsi options but delicious). I was amazed at the portion as it was pretty decent. The lamb was tender and had a ton of flavor. But, it was rather greasy and a little too fatty. I kind of wish there was a little more meat in the bowl to be honest. Considering how much chewing I did on the kale, it needed more meat lol. I gave it 3 stars because the individual who helped us behind the counter had the biggest scowl on the face and just seemed absolutely miserable and almost seemed to just anger things around. When we asked to add a drink to the order, the person was annoyed. Granted, everyone has a bad day here and there but when in a customer facing environment, it's time to put it aside and fake the face. read more

I love this place. My husband loves the lamb and I prefer the chicken. Hidden spot but worth the visit. Healthy food.

I love this place! I can't get enough of how fresh and amazing the food tastes here. The chicken and greens bowl is by far my favorite and all the dressings and toppings are a great added taste. I have to eat here at least once a week. read more

Nice place if you want relatively healthy food. They offer a nice variety of food and fresh drinks to chose from, including vegetarian. Staff are usually friendly and it's a brightly lit, fun place to eat with colleagues from work or after some shopping at the nearby mall. read more

The first time I came here I thought it was too expensive and a little hard to order just because of the wide variety. My friend assisted me explaining what some of the items are as I have never tried them. I then went by myself and added some other items testing out what I like and don't like. At that time I was eating meat and I highly recommend the chicken, it was delicious! I recently cut meat out and chose the vegetables. It was so great! I eat half for my meal and save half for a meal the next day!! Love it so much and enjoy getting it. Hoping the build one by my college. read more

CAVA - The salad and grain bowl mix is my favorite. - Mediterranean Near Me - Bridgewater, New Jersey

I came late on a Saturday night so perhaps the pickings may have been light that night. The options sound delicious and healthy and that's why I came in the first place. I'm raising my review score because the establishment took time to respond, which means they care. For that reason I'll surely be back! Thank you. read more

Mediterranean Chipotle, about wraps it up. A few more options makes decisions a little harder. Typical issue of keeping tables cleaned at dinner.... read more

I come to this place ALL THE TIME. The ingredients are also fresh and they have a lot to choose from. The service can be suspect at times but what do you expect. I always recommend this place to people looking for a quick healthy lunch. read more

A great Mediterranean fast food spot. The food was very tasty. Plenty of green and grain options. The falafel was very tasty. They could give more meat/falafel portions but the taste was still good. The sauces were also very good. I recommend the spicy lime. Would def come back. read more

Literally out of everything. No white rice, no corn, lemon tahini. Should've went to chipotle at that rate.

Has this restaurant changed management?? Yesterday, was my 3rd time getting an incorrect order. If I order online, I indicate what items I want. PLEASE DO NOT SUBSTITUTE! If I order Tzatziki, I need that not Harissa! Big difference! There were many workers and a small amount of people in the restaurant, so receiving another incorrect order was disturbing! I will take a pause from CAVA going forward. read more

This is a good spot for a quick and filling meal. The concept is chipotle-esque, where you can customize and build your meal to your taste. My husband and I recently stopped in a for a quick lunch, and were surprised at how big the restaurant was and how many options were available. We ordered a grain bowl with saffron basmati rice as the base, and chicken (flavorful and tender, not spicy) as the protein. For dips and spreads we added eggplant+red pepper (nothing special) harissa (spicy, but had a hint of sweetness rather than savory) and roasted red pepper hummus (smooth and flavorful). We added almost all the toppings, including quinoa, couscous, pita crisps, romaine, mint, lemon, olives, feta and pickled onions. Finally, we topped it all off with the green harissa and lemon herb tahini. Cava is vegetarian friendly (protein options include falafel and seasonal vegetables). They also have gluten-free, dairy free, soy free, and vegan options. Although all the options can be overwhelming (there were more than a few people standing and staring at the menu indecisively), I like the plethora of dips and toppings that allow you to feel like you're eating something different each time you visit. They also have a variety of fresh juices: we tried the pineapple apple mint juice, and the blood orange ginger juice (wasn't blown away by either, however). Overall Cava seems like a great place for a quick meal or takeout. It also seems like a great place to come with a large group, as there is plenty of seating, and plenty of options to accommodate a variety of tastes and dietary restrictions. read more

LOVE coming here! my most recent experience wasn't great however, due to the rude was of one of the employees (she kept rushing and messed up all 4 of the bowls we ordered for our families). read more

So so good. Very filling- long lines at lunch. But totally worth wait and drink selection wonderful.

This is our new favorite place to go for quick dinner on date nights or even day at the mall. I love the gran and salad base. Be careful getting the harissa ... it is legit spicy and can overpower the bowl. I always get double meat, totally worth it. read more

Great food. Nice amount of options for greek styled bowls/pitas. I really enjoy this place.

Basically , for someone who has never been here and has no idea of what this place is , it is setup like Chipotle , but this is not chipotle ! But 100x better , fresh Mediterranean food and great teas . It is a must try . read more

Just visited this Cava location about an hour ago after driving 30 minutes to get there (from Madison), and it was rather disappointing. Though the grain bowls I got were eatable, the lentils were undercooked (judged by the crunching sound they made when I ate them), they did not have any half-sliced tomatoes, and said they only had crumbs left of the pita crisps. They also put a bit too much dressing on. I am seriously underwhelmed by the experience and will be going the opposite direction for the Paramus CAVA from now on. read more

Food is great. Service is horrible. Complained multiple times. Only one server attending

Cava is one of my favorite fast food chains. They always serve fresh and flavorful bowls. However, the service at this Cava is majorly lacking compared to other (much busier) stores I have been to. Even when no one is there, the service is mediocre at best. The proportions are always off in some way and they usually add way too much dressing. You have to request a pita (they don't offer them) and they are usually somewhat stale. Anytime I get a drink they always forget to actually give me a cup. These are minor annoyances, but they are consistent every time I go. As I am eating my bowl, the sweet potatoes in my roasted vegetables are only half cooked. Sigh. read more

Cava is really good, very healthy options and I enjoy how they show on a map where the food is from.

This was my first time having Cava, which was recommended by a friend. It was sooo good! You can really tell the ingredients are fresh.

The food is sooo good, I crave it weekly. Easy online ordering and pickup.
