Cavalicious! This place is so so good! I got the bowl and a drink. I feel like you can mix and match anything and everything would still taste good. Nice and clean environment. It was a busy lunch hour and a lot of ppl were there (that's a good sign!) And the workers/servers were nice and cordial. Shoutout to Aaron for serving us up. Will come back again!

If you have ever been to CAVA before, it's basically Chipotle but Mediterranean style. You pick a bowl or a pita, your base, your protein, and then your toppings. This is one of the newer CAVAs in the area and it has a drive through but it's not exactly like a normal drive through. You need to place the order on the app and when your food is ready then you drive up. The service here is fine, I mean there isn't much service except for someone to scoop the food and put it in your bowl. It's pretty much self serve. The interior of the place is very nice and warm tone. The seats are comfortable and it's relatively clean. The food here is good. The portion of the food got better. When I first came here; the portion size was a bit sparse. Like not enough rice and everything was too flavorful. My other subsequent visits have been a full bowl and I'm full too, which makes me a happy camper. Parking for this place can be tight if you want to park in front or near CAVA, but there's a big lot on the other side of the plaza. There is also parallel parking spots on the north side. Overall, delicious food and good portions always a 5/5 in my book. Would highly recommend. I'm glad they fixed the portioning issue early.

This was my second time eating Cava. I figured I'd have the same great experience as my first time, just a different location. Unfortunately, my experience here was just okay. I spent $45 for two bowls, extra pita and 2 drinks. The chicken I was served seemed undercooked, and it was only some pieces. To avoid getting sick I basically took most of the protein out and ate everything else. I love this concept because I love Mediterranean food. The service was friendly but, a little slow. I don't know if I'll come back but, you might love it and should try it.

This is the third CAVA I've visited and it seems smaller than most. The crew are predominately women with some men working as cooks in the back. The store is set up similar to the others and resembles Chipotle's assembly line format. i wish they would serve more food for the price of the food and quality. I think the price is a little more than what it should be, but I guess that's why there is no tip involved.

CAVA *October 10, 2025 *12pm- Friday *4 Stars Environment: *Moderate Parking Lot *Fast Service *Indoor Seating Food/Drink: *Build Your Own: SuperGreens, Saffron Basmati Rice, Tzatziki, Traditional hummus, Roasted Eggplant Dip, Grilled Chicken, Pickled Onions, Balsamic Date Vinaigrette Tried ordering in person for the first time at this location instead of doing it online. The line moved relatively fast, especially for a busy lunch crowd. The food was solid as always! The only downside to ordering in person is that the names of the items are listed on sections of the sneeze guard rather than directly above the food itself, which can make it tricky if it's your first time and you're not sure what's what. It was also a bit loud inside, which made it a little hard to hear the server (and vice versa), but overall still a good experience.

They finally opened one near me!! I don't have to drive to Pasadena anymore!! Yay!! It's clean, service was great and food was delicious per usual! I LOVE cava!! Can't wait till they open one in Monrovia which I hear it's coming soon! Plenty of parking in this azusa location and conveniently located with other restaurants and shops around!

Do you see that avocado yeah they put it in there

I would like to start off that I came here because I found it on TikTok. They just opened near me. I came here excited to finally try Cava and left wondering why I even bothered. The night started with us standing in line for ten solid minutes, not because it was packed but because the employees looked completely untrained and unsure of what they were doing. Aidan was the one at the counter and he didn't greet us, didn't apologize, didn't say a single word about the wait. He just gave this little smirk like he knew how ridiculous it was. During that time other employees were hanging out on break, giggling and looking our way while the line dragged on. It set the tone for the entire visit and not in a good way. By the time I ordered I didn't even want to customize a bowl anymore. I played it safe with a signature item, which should have been straightforward, but when it came out the bowl looked half empty compared to the photos. I asked Geo at the register why it was so bare and he told me I should have asked for more toppings. That made no sense because a signature bowl should come as pictured, not like a stripped down version. Even after going back and forth, what I got was still a sad looking portion for nearly twenty dollars. On top of that the lamb meatballs were dry and my friend's wrap had bones in it, which was the ultimate turnoff. The drinks sounded creative but tasted watered down, more like an afterthought than something refreshing. For how many employees were standing around, the service was the slowest I have ever seen in this type of restaurant. The lack of training, the lack of urgency, and the lack of care for presentation or quality made this place feel like a complete waste of time. If you want Mediterranean food, Luna Grill is a much better option. If you just want something quick and reliable, even Chipotle across the street will treat you better. This was not worth the hype and I will not be coming back. As far as the ambience...nothing special.

    Brownie

Charging 3.50 for the worlds smallest brownie is wild. Not including a bag and utensils is also wild.

This was the best experience ever! We walked in, greeted right away, and the portions were great! Now, if you'd like veggies, this is the place to be. If you are more of a picky eater, this probably isn't the place for you. Although I do believe that this place has something for everyone, my boyfriend is a Picky Eater, and his bowl was fairly small. Regardless, the food was great! And we definitely will be back!

First time visitors and we LOVED it!! The entire experience was positive with the exception of one huge issue, they ran out of chicken and as result, we were forced to wait in line for close to twenty mins while the cook grilled more chicken. I totally understand and we were not upset of this issue however, forcing customers to wait so close and the very long line coming to a complete stop for so long, definitely cost the restaurant over ten customers as they simply got out of line and left. Despite this one negative incident, this place is extremely popular as once the long line got going, it was non stop customers coming in and either ordering food and/or picking up their food orders. Customer service is FANTASTIC! Each customer was super friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was somewhat clean and no fault of the employees as customers at two different tables simple got up and left after eating their meals, leaving their trash behind on the tables, UNBELIEVABLE that an adult would feel that leaving their trash behind is acceptable behavior when there are trash cans adjacent to either exit. The vibe here is relaxed, the food choices are great and the healthy food itself was EXCELLENT!!! Each item was delicious, healthy and well prepared. The chicken chunks included in my salad were very tasty, moist Sam's left me wanting more. We will definitely return here as soon as later tonight for dinner

This was our first time here at CAVA - Giselle and Aaron helped us out with fast and friendly service. The falafel crunch and chicken hit the spot - the ingredients were fresh and tasty! Would recommend to anyone for a quick bite to eat that isn't greasy or heavy. Highly recommend- we will be back!

We've always visited the Monrovia Diplomat in the past, and it was always good along with the…read moreservice. Today we visited the Diplomat Jr. in Glendora and it was not the quite the "upscale" Mediterranean dining advertised, but quite the contrary this time. From the fruit flies & black fly constantly buzzing around our table and landing in our food, to the lack of standard Mediterranean type accoutrements omitted from our meal. The chicken was seasoned and flavorful, but somewhat undercooked. The typical Mediterranean saffron rice was now replaced with plain [bland] rice pilaf, and no hummus or garlic is included with your "Mediterranean" meal. You must pay $10 extra for hummus, and $4 extra for a 2oz disposable container of garlic; a total $14.00 extra for condiments. But you do receive a large Mexican chile and cooked tomato, (to which i personally did not eat because i avoid highly acidic foods.) I would recommend to the Restaurant owners to keep the front door shut (especially when it's 92° out), or install a fan over the front door so that flying insects can't get in, annoy customers & contaminate the food. I would also recommend serving a traditional saffron rice since it is a "Mediterranean" restaurant. Additionally, the hummus was horribly boring and could've used a little garlic added for a little flavor, or garlic, infused olive oil blended it when making it. Garbanzo beans by themselves are boring and flat in flavor. The service was lacking, as our waitress slow or MIA most of the time & in fact at one point we had to leave our table & go find her in the bar as she was helping the bartender with no customers present. Today, my friend and I ordered a Coke and an ice water and sat in the lounge area to work on assignments. The café was far from full, with only a couple of other people in the lounge and plenty of open seating available. After about an hour, the owner came over and rudely told us we were "holding two tables over a Coke" and pressured us to order more. I understand businesses need customers to make purchases, but there is a respectful way to communicate that. What made the situation worse was that after I ordered a coffee, she immediately turned to my friend and basically stared him down with a strict look, clearly expecting him to order something too. I explained that we were going to split the coffee, because we're both trying to lose weight, but she continued making the situation uncomfortable. Staring down a customer and making them feel pressured to spend more money is not how you treat paying customers. What makes this even more frustrating is that the menu is already severely overpriced for what is offered. On multiple occasions, I've heard the microwave running while food was being prepared. Paying premium prices for what appears to be microwaved food is disappointing enough without being pressured to spend even more. Even though we only ordered a Coke initially, and have only done that once before, we were still spending money. As regular customers who come here often, you would think that would be appreciated rather than criticized. Be thankful people are still choosing to spend money at your business. Honestly, after today's experience, it's no wonder this place is often empty. Customer service and hospitality matter, and making customers feel unwelcome, guilty, or pressured to spend more is a great way to drive them away. The interaction was uncomfortable enough that I asked for my food to be packed to go and left. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. It's a cafe, not a 5 star restaurant. People want to come here to work on assignments or have a coffee and talk. Even though I didn't want to spend 9 dollars on a coffee, I still purchased something. Edit from her Google response: Now you guys see what type of owner she is by her response. Truly, truly a fake person, and we always spend money coming here (now she wants to lie and manipulate since I have her attention). I always purchase a coffee and more, and I have receipts to prove it. I do not use her WiFi for free, as I am not a rude person unlike her. I don't just order a soda like this owner claims; see my receipts on my credit card. My friend and I ordered drinks and were talking and doing assignments for about half an hour (while she and her waiter came up to us like 10 times to ask us to order, even though this is a cafe), even though we said we would order later. If you're broke, just say so, lady. Trust me, at this rate, this place will close down soon. Like I said, this is a cafe where people come to have a drink, relax, talk, study, or work on assignments; not a restaurant where customers are expected to order a full meal every time they sit down. We purchased drinks, planned to order more later, and were still repeatedly approached and pressured to order. Please do yourself a favor and stop lying to the public. I did not come here four times and just use the WiFi. I paid for the WiFi with my extremely expensive and disgusting coffee and food, which is shown below in the receipts. I did not buy $2 sodas every time. The receipts I attached are from my card, but on many of the other visits my friend paid with his card and spent just as much. So trying to claim that we were sitting here for free or only ordering a soda is simply not true. Now that I have proved you wrong in front of the public, I hope everyone sees you for who you are. You are a money-hungry liar! Lastly, you are right; you're not Starbucks. Starbucks would not treat customers that way, and I'd much rather spend my money at Starbucks anyway.Glad we're on the same page!

I normally pay digitally, but I had cash on me and haven't had a chance to deposit it into my bank. Unfortunately, they told me they didn't have enough change for the $100 bill. I understand that businesses can occasionally run low on change, but this was extremely inconvenient. I was short on time, hungry, had more than enough money to pay for my food, and still almost had to leave without my order because the establishment couldn't accept my cash payment. What made the experience more disappointing was when I asked the cashier for a phone number or someone I could contact to share my experience and provide feedback. I was told she didn't know of any number and wasn't given another way to contact a manager or someone in charge. I ended up making several calls myself to find someone who could send me money digitally. Eventually I was able to get the money sent to me and pay for my order, but I shouldn't have had to go through all of that just to pay for a $25 meal when I was standing there with cash in hand. I'm not leaving this review because I expect every business to always have unlimited change. I'm leaving it because I think a restaurant should be prepared to accept normal cash transactions or, at minimum, have a reasonable solution when they can't. And when a customer asks how they can provide feedback about their experience, there should be a way to direct them to management. It turned what should have been a quick food stop into an unnecessarily stressful and time-consuming experience. I wish i could post a positive review on the food, but that definitely ruined my experience.
