Local artisans gather together to offer various handcrafted goods, and there's something for everyone! There are: basketry, candles, ceramics, gourd art, hand-spun yarns, jewelry, knitting, lampwork beads, ornaments, painting, pencil drawings, photography, pottery, sculptures, shell art, stained glass, tapestry bags, weaving, wood arts, and even handmade soap! Some of my favorites were: Jeanne Hammett's beautiful silkscreen prints, Lisa Tettimer's mixed metal jewelry, and Marta Kelsey's gourds. This year, the show was set up at Calvert High School, where all the vendors had their own 'booth' area set-up, and there was plenty of room to roam around, peruse to your heart's content, and speak with the various artists. There is also a raffle drawing every half an hour or so, with door prizes and such. She was patient, kind, knowledgeable. She helped him find shoes that actually fit him, which is not an easy feet. no pun intended. She even showed him how to tie his shoelaces since he needs to start learning how to do that. She let me video record how to tie shoes so I can teach him a little bit better. She was extremely generous with her time. So much so that I purchased shoes. I honestly didn't really need. But I wanted to support this store and this amazing sales person. Well after I got on the road I couldn't seem to pick up a decent signal on it nor could I transmit one. I thought it might be an antenna issue so I purchased a Wilson 2000 still no luck, we'll maybe I need a different mic, purchased a new one, nope still no luck... so I had a friend let me plug in his cobra 29 and everything seemed to work great so I put the cobra 25 back in the box. I work from 2am until 3pm and don't get home until about 4:30 and I'm 30 minutes away from radio Shack. So I waited until I had a Saturday I could get back up there to hopefully get my money back. Well I get up there and the manager told me I've waited too long and wouldn't take it back and gave me the owners number. I called the owner and explained to him how I work long hours and that I was tight on money and would really appreciate the refund. He told me that what I was asking for was unacceptable and that he wouldn't help me out. So now I'm out the $105.99. I under stand store policy, I do but to buy a defected item right out of the box angers me. That was a good chunk of change, and to be told to go pine sand by the owner is just unbelievable. I wouldn't buy a 5 amp fuse from them at this point even if I was broken down in front of there store. I wouldn't recommend going there very poor customer service skills and no compassion. 1 out of 5 stars from me. I hope that Mike King sees this.

I bring my jewelry back at least nice a year for maintenance and repairs. I left all my jewelry with them to check all stones and clasp and was told it will take a week. Showed up two days after the original completion date. made the mistake of waiting til i got back to Texas to check everything. Bangle bracelet clasp was never fixed and a diamond had fallen out. Wedding ring was welded together, weld broke and lost a diamond in the wedding band and anniversary band. my husband bought me a tennis bracelet from JW for Christmas 2020 and it just broke today. My other bracele, the repaired clasp is still messed off and we cannot get the bracelet off. I really don't know what happened. I have been bringing my jewelry back because I trusted them so much. It's a crying shame. This is going to cost me a lot of money to get this repaired again. My reviews will not be good When asked

The lady at the drive through was absolutely horrible. She spoke down to me and was very dismissive. She asked for my last name and then went and grabbed a prescription. She was ready to give it to me and then I stopped her because it was the wrong prescription and not mine. After all that, they didn't even have my prescriptions. My doctor was immediately blamed. It was definitely not his fault and that was established. I called today and spoke with Octavia and she was able to fix everything. Turns out, even if there are still refills remaining, Walgreens policy is not to refill if the prescription is over 120 days!!! That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. The other problem is that they don't communicate this, they just don't fill it. When I called and spoke with the store manager about another issue, her response "You finally got your prescription so I don't know what you want me to do?" Well, I would want to know if my employees are not doing their job so that it can be addressed by YOU!
