I have worn this coat for at least 7 years and have had two repairs done on it. They do a fantastic job and I could not be happier. The jacket shows every scar from my abuse but I continue to wax it 1-2x per year and it keeps going. If they still made this coat I'd buy another, until then I'll keep getting it repaired.
