The initial process was smooth--they gave us a quick, fair quote and got us on the schedule pretty fast. Work quality was solid, but what stood out was their follow-up. We had a couple of minor touch-ups needed on the finish and paint matching afterward, and they didn't push back or rush off. They were patient, scheduled extra visits, and made sure everything was finished to our liking before wrapping up. Solid communication, professional crew, and great customer service. Would definitely recommend them.

Quality. That is the best word to describe Saber Roofing. This review is long overdue as we had…read moreRyan and team replace our 29 yr old roof late last year (Nov/Dec 25'). But it's also a testament that after almost a year in, we've had no issues whatsoever. From the site survey to Final inspection by the City, Ryan and team was there every step of the way. I'm not going to attempt to repeat what's already been said in all the 5 star reviews (which are all correct, but also repetitive). I am offering an alternative view if skepticism remains. The ultimate reason why we chose Saber Roofing, over other quotes that were at or below his quote, was because of the negative reviews. Stay with me here. When you have a multi-decade longstanding business, it is statistically impossible to maintain 100% satisfaction. If you want to understand trustworthiness or how the inner workings of a company is run at a glance, one must look at how the unsatisfied customers were dealt and treated. In all recent cases, you will see each and every claim was handled with compassion and respect with an intent to understand the issue, correct and better themselves going forward. That, IMO, is the hallmark of a great business to deal with. After starting the job, they solidified that hypothesis as I observed the attitudes & dispositions of those working in the "trenches" (or roof in this case). Everyday that the team showed up, all carried great smiles with positive team banter and a general sense of happiness being on site. This only happens when employees are treated well and with respect. We have dealt with numerous home projects in the past and can tell you this is a rarity. Will Saber Roofing be the lowest bid in your search? Probably not. Will they provide you the best quality and service? You bet.

I am very…read morehappy that I chose Saber Roofing for plenty of reasons. 1) The owner, Ryan, met with me to discuss the work and was very thorough and helpful in answering all my questions. 2) Important details were covered including adding a rain chain in a location where a downspout would have been unsightly (picture attached). Among the details, the rain chain is made of copper while the gutter is made of aluminum. Having these two metals come in contact could compromise the aluminum over time. So, Saber installed the copper rain chain with a protective barrier. 3) Their client service and sales director, Jake, was super helpful and extremely responsive to all my questions. 4) The crew was very efficient, provided high quality workmanship, and left the site spotless. 5) The gutter guards that were installed provide a really fine barrier to prevent even small debris from entering my gutters, but are easy to rinse so that fine particles can be washed through the gutters. 6) The two downspouts that were installed were matched to the color of our trim. Other companies offer limited colors or simply white downspouts, but Saber offers a wide variety. 7) Their pricing is very competitive. From end to end, this was a great experience and I highly recommend Saber Roofing.

I chose them for 2 major reasons. 1) they were going to deal with the scheduling of the removal and réinstallation of our solar panels. And 2) Shahar was so kind, informative, and honest during our consultation. He was through and kept us updated every step of the way. When our project finally started the crew were so respectful and kind! We found way more damage than we expected which resulted in our quote going up. However, due to Shahar being honest at the consultation we knew this was a possibility so it wasn't super shocking. The crew was great at cleaning up at the end of every day, which we appreciate as we have chickens, ducks, a puppy and cat as well as a child who are outside. When the project was done, there were a few concerns we had, we talk to Shahar and he quickly corrected and had the crew fix the items. Our roof is beautiful and will hopefully last many many years to come. I am thankful we went with Apollo Roofing and Happy Shahar was our project manager.

Beyond the quality of the work, what really stood out to us was their reliability and great communication, which is so hard to find with contractors nowadays. They kept us in the loop every step of the way and always followed through. This was easily one of the best contracting experiences we've ever had. I only wish they did other home projects because I would definitely hire them again in a heartbeat! Huge thanks to David, Gilbert, and the whole team at Top Tier Roofing.

Pick these guys if you want a sloppy and noisy job site and the annoyed neighbor's that they bring to your block. I would have given them a -5 if the option were available.

From our first conversation to the finished roof, Joseph earned our trust and our highest recommendation. What impressed us most was his honesty, professionalism, and pride in his work. Joseph is a straightforward, trustworthy guy who does what he says he will do. He communicated clearly, responded promptly, showed up on time, and was consistently reliable. He's also simply a really nice person who is easy to talk to. When you're trusting someone with your home, those qualities matter just as much as technical skill. And his craftsmanship absolutely lived up to that trust. Our new roof looks beautiful, and the care he puts into his work is evident in the finished result. We felt we received excellent value, especially considering the quality of both the workmanship and the service. For our family, the greatest benefit is the peace of mind. Joseph helped make our home more fire-resistant, and we feel much more confident heading into the winter rainy season. We appreciate the beautiful roof every time we come home, but feeling safer under it means even more. I wholeheartedly recommend Joseph and Mastercraft Roofing to homeowners in Palo Alto, Los Altos, and Los Altos Hills. MY NEW RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS REPLY TO THIS POST: As you will see in the attached photos the owner is lying. Thats what he does. I shouldn't have to ask for a paid invoice/receipt but I did ask for one multiple times and still to this day I have not received one and likely never will. He also lied and said he had his guys go out to recheck the roof area i was concerned about but that was also a lie. No one EVER came back. MY ORIGINAL POST: Issue: Troubleshoot water leak dripping from the ceiling during a rainy day. He said he did the roof inspection and also looked in the attic. Once he was done he immediately asked for his payment of $350 by Zelle. I sent it and then asked him for a paid invoice (to read his written assessment and also to have proof that i paid). He never acknowledged my request for an invoice and I still havent received one a week later. (He could have text me a copy or asked for my email but he never replied to my request for an invoice). WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS DOES NOT PROVIDE A RECEIPT OR PAID INVOICE??????!! Later my uncle asked me if he actually even looked at the pipe filange seal on the roof as a possible leak source.. So i reached out and asked and he said he would go back to the house to look. HE NEVER SHOWED UP. I had to reach out repetitively and he kept saying he would go out each day and NEVER EVER DID. So after paying $350: He promised to show up to look at the pipe filange and did NOT. He has NOT provided me with a paid invoice or receipt. He did NOT Apologize for flaking each day He did NOT offer any refund. And yes, after a week of him flaking and not providing me with any assessment documentation or proof of payment still, i grew tired of being patient and polite and finally text him "i want a fucking receipt!!!". Still nothing. Poor follow through, unprofessional business operation and no documentation whatsoever. Hi
