Ruben came out the same day.... I got lucky there was a cancelation. Now I have hot water and a new circuit breaker thanks to his desire to eliminate an possible issues. He was very professional, answered any questions, thorough and quick. And more knowledgeable than the person who installed a new water heater a few months ago and was called first. Tech was good, no issue there. I had them come out for warranty work that wasn't covered by the warranty company. They quoted a total price which I paid. Then I get a bill from the warranty company! The woman in the office said it was clearly noted on the receipt, which I never got but needless to say, receipts are after the fact, not quotes. they were assigned to us by our warranty company. our problem happened on a weekend and they are close. so i have to wait till Monday to set up an appt. Called them numerous times and finally was able to set up an appt. Like most of the companies, they have a 4 hour wait for them to show up and the technician showed up within the first hour. They were sent to our home because plug for fridge wouldn't reset on breaker. They came over 48 hours later. We had to get help to get fridge out of cubby enclouser because it's so big and full of food. We had to run a very long extention cord from the kitchen to family room. When Noe Castillo finally arrived, my wife asked him to put on booties with elastic because our entry way is polished marble and then carpet, his boots were filthy. He wouldn't!!!!!!! The wife he did something behind the fridge and pushed it back to the wall & went to fuse box outside and left with the extention cord still connected to fridge. This was last Tuesday. We still don't know if repaired. I called the office and lady answering phone ws most rude.... I told her the events and she said she would call Noe. I had left numerious messages because the card said 24 hrs. Finally she called said the tech said he pluged it into the wall and I had already taken pictures as proof. When I tried to send to her she didn't want to see the pictures and told me not to call back. And after paying in advance had the nerve to invoice me. Stay away from these crooks! read more

As many before, if I could have given ZERO stars, I would have. Fidelity Home Warranty sent them to fix my bathroom exhaust fan. 2 months later, I have no fixed fan, they LOST the blade, which can't be replaced because it's too old, can't put in anything else so they say. So they said all they can do is put back the broken fan to cover the hole, sans blade. WTF?!!! They show up unexpectedly, have no caller ID on their phones so you can't call them back and no one answers the phone at the office. Now I'm back to square one - and out $100 for the "service call." Pretty shady - and shitty - in my book. Will definitely be filing a complaint with BBB and my home warranty peeps. read more

She went out of her way to keep in constant communication on my appointment and even contacted a garage door expert from another district to meet my scheduled time and service my issue. Good day. Customer service is highly important to me and if a customer is paying good money for services the customer should be treated with respect and in a polite manner. I just got off the phone with an Castle Contractor office employee (out of kindness I will not disclose her name), but who refused to provide me her last name. Since I was given a very large window of when the technician will be arriving, asked if she or someone could please contact the technician out in the field to give me a more precise time that he/she would be arriving. She refused and repeated to me three times that "that is not something we offer and I cannot do that for you". Although I informed her that I heard her and understood I asked if she could make an exception. I have another appointment that I had to make last minute (not her fault of course) and just wanted to know about what time the electrician would be arriving. The last home warranty service provider I had was able to do this. She not only repeated the same exact information three times in a very condescending manner, but she had a very loud tone, and was extremely rude to me on the phone. When it was time to end the call she did not wait for me to hang up, nor ask if there was anything else she could help me with. In my professional opinion this is very poor customer service and I would never treat someone this way, especially if they were paying me to perform a service. This interaction leads me to believe that this company does not value its customers. We should all take a moment to remember without customers we do not have jobs. The electrician did call me 25 minutes prior to coming and was very helpful. He also cleaned up after himself, even vacuumed the carpet from going into my attic, but unfortunately he was not able to fix my outlet. read more

First, let me just say I was a bit skeptical when my warranty service put me in touch with them, since it says they are in Temecula and I saw some wild swings between reviews that were posted--All 5's or 1's. I interacted with the office several times because we played phone tag and then I gave them the wrong times I would be available and had to change the appointment. The lady who handled the phones and scheduling was extremely nice, and she changed my appointment, no problem. Alex lives in the San Diego area and came out when he said he would be here, and in less than 5 minutes had the problem diagnosed based on the sound alone. It was covered under warranty so he went ahead and changed the part and then lubed the long screw in the trolley as well as the wheels on the garage door. For those with warranties who are upset about things not being covered, I would say the real problem is either with the warranty contract itself or with the warranty company over- promising. I looked up my coverage before calling, and since I wasn't sure what the problem was, I was worried that it might not be covered. That is what happens when you have warranty insurance that excludes things from coverage. i found Alex to be efficient, professional, knowledgeable, and honest. Thanks Castle!!! read more

This contractor should have someone check their licence. Misdiagnosed my electrical problem the first time they came out. Had the same problem, called them out again. They then re-diagnosed my problem with a $650+ estimate for the repairs. I didn't like this so I had a different (honest) contractor come out. In 15 minutes they found a loose wire in one of my GFI outlets, plugged it back in, all my problems solved for a very small amount of money. This contractor said almost anyone should have been able to see this. Bottom line, Castle tried to take me for a very large amount of money for a very simple fix! Shame, shame. Don't know why anybody would want to use this guy. read more

I'm very happy with the work that Castle Contractor completed in our home. We needed two ceiling fans installed in our house. They were very professional, arrived on time and did quality work. After completing the work, the Tech noticed that our GFCI was not wired correctly and was unsafe. He took apart the GFCI wired it correctly and tested the reset button with no additional cost. I really like that he went out of his way to correct something I didn't even know about. Castle Contractors in Temecula, CA was assigned to repair my garage door opener by my home warranty company, Fidelity National, on Monday 8/21/17. They called me within a few hours and offered to come out the following day but I had another appointment within the 4 hour window available. They then offered an appointment on Thursday 8//24 when I was available. As promised, Ruben called me 30-45 minutes before arrival to let me know that he was on his way. He tried to repair my old opener but when that was unsuccessful, he told me that he would order a new unit and return the following week for installation. On Tuesday 8/29, I called to find out the status and was told that the part had arrived and they could come out on 8/31 to finalize the repair. Again, Ruben called 30-45 minutes before arriving, removed the old and installed the new opener, programmed the unit, and instructed me on reprogramming my vehicles to open both of my garage doors. Ruben was personable, neat (he removed the old opener and track and cleaned up any boxes and debris), and completely professional and responsible. An exceptional experience. Great job! read more

castle cont. is the WORST company I have ever had in my home.Rueben came out, said I had a short circuit one my outside wall & he'd have to cut off power to that outlet (stupidly, I agreed to that}. what he failed to inform me was that every outlet in my front yard would have no power.now, castle will not even come back & honor their work.they said they can't even troubleshoot the problem. my advice call....CRAP for contractors!!!! read more
