Kyle did a great job removing the old opener and installing the new one. It was very clear that he knew what he was doing. He had the old one out and the new one installed in less than an hour. The wall switch was defective so Kyle gave me step by step instructions on how to get the new part shipped, and then he did the first step for me. If you need a security gate or a garage door look no further than Adam to exceed all of your needs. He installed two new garage doors and even though there was a glitch in the install resulting in damage to my existing motor he replaced it without me even having to ask. I also had him replace my old security gate for my courtyard. I had very high expectations for the new security door. I wanted a stylish wood gate with metal reinforcement, wifi enabled for sound, video and to be able to buzz people in...or keep them out. As you can see from the photo the wood gate is beautiful. We purchased Clopay Gallery Series Garage Doors in Oak Slate through Home Depot in 2018. They engage Castle Garage Doors to install one double and one single door. Two days ago garage door opener rail assembly detached from the backboard. The torsion spring shaft is bent, and one of the two screws from the bracket fell out. I called Castle Garage Doors and explained that when their installer installed the door, he used the same pad with previous door holes and cracks instead of the new pad for attaching both torsion spring shaft and garage door opener rail assembly. He screwed all three of them in a straight line, which made things worse. The crack just widened, and two screws, one from the spring bracket and one holding the rail, fell out. I also mentioned that side weather strips were attached using tiny nails that many of which fell out, and I had to replace them with stronger screws. I expected they would send someone to fix it since obviously the problems I explained happened due to the poor installation. I was told it is out of warranty and to call Home Depot to check if they may cover the repair. I had someone else replaced the board, straighten out the bent torsion spring shaft, and mount garage door opener rail assembly. I uploaded two more photos - one of the original cracked board with many nail/screw holes, and the newly installed board with mounted rail and bracket. We were even lucky that rail did not fall and damage our car or even hurt someone. read more

Needed a new garage door. Headed over to Home Depot and made the purchase. Castle Garage Doors & Gates was Home Depot's installation contractor. The company was great. George came out to measure and make suggestions on how to install while retaining our overhead storage racks eliminating the need for a tear down. The office scheduler stayed in touch on delivery updates. The actual install was handled by Zak who was outstanding. Took about 3 hours including clean up and haul away of the old wood door and motor. Zak answered my many questions and made sure I understood the manual as well as automatic function of the new door. He returned in a punctual fashion to modify the wiring for overhead storage and to add weather stripping after I took care of some priming and painting of house doorframe. Just a great guy. Absolutely unreliable when it comes to keeping a scheduled appointment. My door was supposed to be fixed a week ago but there was a myriad of excuses from broken vehicles to other personal priorities. The spokeswoman for the company acted like the repair person was responsible and not the company. My opinion is the company scheduled the repair person and if the repair person doesn't show up it's on the company. Seriously consider other repair services as their prices are not cheaper and their quality of customer care is poor at best. Extremely disappointed. read more

Got a call on Sunday morning from our tenant stating the garage door will not go up, he had a company there to fix it. The quote was $600. I thought it was high. I contacted three companies to get quotes. One told me it was a $99 service fee to show up, the other bid the job for $495. Castle did the job for $375 and got me a second remote. We recently replaced our 30 year old garage doors with new rolling garage doors. They needed new railings in place of the old springs and the openers had to be re-installed. The doors were special order and when they came in they were installed right away. The installer was Dave. In six hours time he took down 3 old doors with their springs,put up new railings, installed the doors, re-installed the openers, and cleaned up the worksite.
