Saw the great Yelps when my garage door busted a spring, and called Fred, who said that he could be out the very next morning, wow! However, we had a day trip already planned, so we set it up for the following morning, and in the meantime, Fred wisely advised not to use the door at all, to prevent door damage. (We'd been able to override the "up" trajectory by simply holding down the button, but Fred said "bad idea" basically, saving us from further expense.) Fred showed up about 30 minutes earlier than we first expected , so he's just lucky I took an early shower, or would not have heard the doorbell. Anyhow, he was a chatty guy who could actually hold a conversation, how refreshing. Yet he didn't not try to upsell us or add any extra charges. He added an additional torsion spring so the door will still be manageable if the springs were to fail again. He did an amazing job! While he was here he noticed the bottom bracket where the cable attaches was broken and he replaced it as well. Great prices isn't out to gouge you.
