My husband found Sunray Overhead Doors on yelp. Ray responded via yelp and was very quick. He came for a quote the same day. He was one of 4 repairmen who came to look at our garage door opener. He didn't seem to want to scam us into replacing our springs and opener. Other 2 repairmen did. He recommended a tune up. Unfortunately, our garage opener continued to stall when we try to open it. We decided to use sunray based on reviews and quote which is much better than other quotes. The Liftmaster seems to rate well and he has it in stock. So far we've been very happy with it. I'm still trying to figure out the My Q app on my phone which will allow me to use my phone to open the garage. read more

Great response time, fair price, and work completed quickly. Requested garage door repair

Good service, speedy. I liked the 10 year warranty. Knowledgeable from this being a family business for decades

So I was having issues with my garage door not working (cheap tractor hosing springs and garage door opener) and I used Yelp to get 4 quotes and each garage door company said slightly different things needed to be done with wildly different pricing. I emailed Ray from Sunray and we had a great conversation about the various options for my garage door. Ray is very reasonable, very informed, and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. Based on his explanation and some research of my own and some of what the other companies said, I just decided to have Ray switch out my garage door opener and place new springs so both issues would be resolved when I had the time rather than it being an emergency when it broke. Ray came back within two days and now my garage door works like it is supposed to-quiet and reliable. Two recommendations from my experience: One, use Sunray Overhead Doors for any garage door issues or upgrades you may have. Two, using Yelp to find companies to give you free estimates is super convenient and easy. read more

We needed to reinforce the seal on our 2-year-old garage door due to signs of rodent activity. I reached out to Ray to see if he could take a look. He responded the same day and came by the very next day. Ray was honest and straightforward--he let us know the existing seal was in good condition and that all we needed was a filler seal. Really appreciated his promptness and integrity. read more

Ray is great. He is calm, patient, highly skilled and kind. My Dad who lives in Sun City in The Club, and I were working on his automatic garage door. We only made things worse. A bent roller and attachment, quickly became a bent garage door ready to fall off the ceiling and onto my Dad's car. I called Sunray on a Saturday and Ray said no problem. I'll be over tonight after I finish two more jobs. Sure enough he came by 6pm. He said I can take care of this. What we thought of as a disaster Ray fixed quickly. He even noticed Dad's old rollers were getting flat, so he replaced anything that might give Dad trouble, greased it and had it the garage door working perfectly in under an hour. In in this day of high inflation, Ray did a great job for a great price. So nice to find a hard working honest and kind man who keeps his word and does a great job! Thanks Ray! Ray, Thank so much for getting us back up and running after the power surges shut us down! Your cost for service was very reasonable. We appreciate that you took the time to replace the parts necessary even though it required more time for you to locate the parts and did not insist on us replacing our existing door openers with new models. We will definitely recommend Sunray Overhead Doors to others. Many Thanks, Ty and Carole Moss read more

Beyond excellent knowledge and skills with resolving technical issues for 20+ year old property. Awesome customer service as well!

I am a researcher, always naturally wanting great work at a decent price point. Please look no further! I had to go through 12 different companies to find Sunray. My husband was able to get a same day assessment and quote, professional, knowledgeable on what needed to be done, and completed it within a couple hours. Our garage works better than before! Our spring needed repairing. Not only did he fix that main issue, but he also helped with the garage door not slamming as hard into the ground upon closure. So thankful for my improved, quiet door. Great work! Very happy! read more

He did very good job. He gave a good price and answered all my questions. He spent time explaining all the features of my new garage opener.

Ray was so professional and amazing. He was fair and prompt when he came out for his estimate and had the patience and explained everything in detail. My old garage door (green, had to take the picture from Zillow ) was from when the house was originally was built. It was loud and started giving away. The middle part of the door started to cave and crack. So happy that Ray came in a changed it. He took the time to explain how to use the new system (which is A LOT quieter than the old one) helped me download the garage door app, and overall just great. Nothing but great things to say and will definitely recommend him to my family/friends. Thanks again and thanks for giving my house a face lift! (Just needs a new paint job!) read more

We got me springs and motor. Excellent work and high quality products offered. Affordable as well.

Ray was great. Responded to my Yelp message immediately, had read my notes and proposed the perfect opener for my needs, quoted a price better than other highly rated businesses, came out the next day and installed the new opener, threw in some new rollers in the process, cleaned up any mess, probably leaving my garage cleaner than when he got there. Whole experience could not have been better. read more

Top notch went through my door adjusted door. Very respectful great price. Locally owned businesses here in Menifee area.

I contacted three companies about my garage door opener which was making noises. The first asked for pictures, told me that it was too old to fix and it would cost between x and y to replace. They cancelled their appointment because the technician fell ill. The second was Sun Ray who also told me that the unit would not be able to be repaired, but gave me information on two units to consider for replacement (within a similar price range). The third came in and tried to see me a replacement for twice what the other two proposed. When I told him I had a possible purchase from someone else at half the price he magically could get the price lowered for me. I went with Sun Ray. Ray came both times after letting me know he was on his way. He was helpful and courteous, provided me with information on his proposed replacement(s) and answered questions that I came up with. On installation day he arrived as announced, completed the work in the time he said it would take, and did an excellent job at a reasonable price. He then made sure I was comfortable with how everything worked and provided me with a receipt. I am so happy I hired him and would highly recommend his services. read more
