Our Garbage Disposal Circuit Breaker in Electrical Panel continually tripped. Even with the unit unplugged from its outlet, the Circuit Breaker tripped immediately. I made an appointment with Redhawk Electric for the next day (Tuesday) and was given a time between 9 and 11 am. I was advised of the cost which included 1 hr for diagnosis and repair. The Electrician (Beau) arrived within that time. He investigated the problem, at the Electrical Panel and at the Garbage Disposal GFCI outlet. He explained everything to me during his troubleshoot and diagnosis. The cause turned out to be a faulty breaker. He replaced it with a new one, and the problem was solved. We had Redhawk come out to install two ceiling fans in our home. Messaged them via Yelp and had a response within an hour. Got the quote after providing all our project details for $500 (not including fans). We settled on a date and time for the service and waited for the day. Day for install came and these guys were almost exactly on the dot. Never had that from a company before. Total install time was two hours and everything came out great. They left our house as clean as it was when they started and they were friendly and courteous. My wife has been wanting these larger carriage lights which required the existing electrical boxes to be moved down a few inches. I've been procrastinating not wanting to go through the hassle. Since we installed a new front door which caused substantial stucco damage we took the opportunity to have the electrical work done. Aside fro the lights, I personally was really annoyed with this old doorbell the previous homeowner had installed poorly. Beau came out and provided a detailed written estimate to drop the boxes, install the new lights and relocate the doorbell. He gave me a worst-case scenario assuming The old boxes didn't have enough slack to drop down so he would have to cut drywall on the interior of the door and pull a whole new wire down from the attic. On the day of our appointment, 2 pleasant technicians showed up right on time and got right to work. They were extremely clean and did an amazing job. They were friendly, attentive and were patient with my wife to ensure the carriage lights were exactly where she wanted them. My doorbell was perfectly centered and all was well. Not only were they able to pull the wire down from the existing electrical boxes which avoided any interior drywall damage and subsequent drywall patching. They were able to re-locate that wire for the doorbell by fishing it over through without causing any stucco damage. I very rarely take the time to leave a yelp review but we were extremely satisfied and it's a breath of fresh air and a true relief when you encounter true professionals. Sloppy work. I had removed this review before because at least they paid for someone to fix my bathtub that they dented. But they jacked up my drywall and told me I should have known that it was my responsibility to fix my drywall after they jacked it up. And on the picture with the three bay light switch, it used to be a two-bay light switch and they just had to widen it. They could have easily done that without widening it too much. The single bay light switch had to get raised so I understand there's no way to do that without leaving a gap, but any halfway decent handyman would have fixed that gap when moving the switch. And again, expanding a two bay light switch to a three-bay light switch could have been done without leaving a gap. So it's clear they weren't giving any thought to the Finish detail of the work. Also worth noting is that one of the three switches was supposed to be a dimmer but the electrician kept telling me the light wouldn't dim even though the instructions and the Box clearly said it was dimmable. So I went with what the electrician told me and now I don't have the dimmer. I contacted the manufacturer later and the electrician was looking at the wrong light. It was the main light that was dimmable not the night light. So not only was I left with shoddy work but I also lost some functionality of my appliance. read more
