Recently we had LED under cabinet lighting installed with a dimmer switch. Our kitchen looks very classy at night now! Just this week he installed a combo bath fan with a light for our shower to pull the humid air out. Very quiet Panasonic fan with just the right amount of illumination. He told me about possible locations in the ceiling to mount the fan and that he had to get into the attic to see what would work. After showing me where he could place the fan he installed it so it looked like it's always been there. We are really thrilled with how such a simple upgrade to our bathroom makes such a difference. Steam doesn't build up like before, fogging up our mirrors, and the light is very nice. If you need something simple like a bad outlet or switch replaced, or some cool lighting installed or even a TV mounted to a wall, give Guckeen a call. I text him asking when he's going to come. he calls me and says his child is sick. now I get that your kid is sick, but you should have called me and let me know instead of being unprofessional and hoping I'd just forget about our appointment. I described my issue over the phone and he gave me some advice over the phone, it ended up being a problem with the line from the street, SoCal Edison's responsibility, not mine, something that he predicted! When we bought our our house we noticed the entry closet did not have a light in it. We kept saying we were going to put one in and well 8 years passed. I looked through yelp and zeroed in on Guckeen Electric. Had great yelp reviews all 5 stars! One thing was mentioned in almost all the reviews....he answers his phone when you call him. Most guys do let it go to voicemail and get back that night or next day. I thought that was impressive. So Brandon came out the following Monday first thing to wire in a light and switch for my closet. He worked clean and even put a tarp down to catch residue from cutting into the wall. Pretty disappointed in this company. He was recommended by so many people. We had a problem and didn't know why and he came out, in a rush and just didn't feel like figuring out what was wrong.... and then he said "it's bc your house is old." That was it. Took his money and left. He said he was going out of town and would follow up. I tried reaching out over and over and he just didn't respond after that. I called another company who also recommended to call Edison and turns out it was a huge problem and Edison is fixing it. That other company came out to make sure Edison was going to take care of it, and see if there was anything else they could help with and did not charge me a dime.
