No need for ketchup with these fries unless you want it. For my burger I ordered the HL Hunt cooked medium which comes with white cheese, bacon, blackberry compote and mustard. The burger was filling, the cheese was melted but it had little flavor, and the bacon was chewy. The compote was my favorite part of the burger as it added a slightly sweet flavor. I requested a medium cooked burger but it didn't taste that way but it was still good despite that. Unfortunately, the wait for both food and drinks were longer than expected, even as the rush began to die down. Our pretzel appetizer didn't arrive until near the end of our meal, and sadly, it was overcooked. Drinks The beer was great and a definite highlight of the experience. Here's what we ordered: Appetizers Giant Pub Pretzel ($13.99): A 12.05 oz pretzel served with signature beer cheese and beer mustard. Unfortunately, this dish was a disappointment. Despite being called "Giant," the pretzel was thin, and was a bit overcooked. While we enjoyed the beer cheese, the beer mustard could have stayed in the kitchen. It also took a while to reach our table, which was odd considering it's pre-packaged. The kitchen area even had the King Cake box visible. Beignets ($7.99): Over-fried and served with icing that was overly lemony, which overpowered the dish. Side Order Jalapeño Slaw ($2.99): The star of the meal! It had the perfect balance of mayo and vinegar, with a fresh kick from the jalapeños and Cajun spices. I wish I had ordered more! I think this place has a lot of potential.
