Semi-stand-offish attitude from guy behind the counter, could have just told me there was no bag in the trash disposal and that it was a chute to down below the restaurant rather than telling me there was a sign any idiot could see that read "garbage here". I honestly can't rate the food because it didn't get delivered. In all fairness, apparently I accidentally entered East instead of West on the address. And though I accept that it put us out of the delivery area, what I do not accept and do not appreciate is the driving hanging up in my face once he realized it was the wrong address. The only reason I found out the order would not be delivered is that I called the restaurant and the person who answered the phone rudely explained to me that I was too far away. Ordered pizza for delivery. Order came wrong. One pizza was missing ingredients, the other was missing. Period. Overall had to wait 2.5 hours to get my pizza. When it arrived nobody was in the mood to eat it. Waste of money. Horrible customer service that yelled at me that it was my fault they delivered wrong pizza. read more

Right near my dorm which was very convenient. Food was a good price, they had all different types of pizzas, calzones, salads, and pastas although I usually stuck with pizza and fries which was always good. Another thing that was pretty good was their garlic knots! Perfectly cooked with just the right amount of seasoning and oil. One thing I must say though is that I always found the place a little dirty looking. Maybe it's old or something. Who knows. read more

Visiting my hometown of NYC, from Los Angeles Great need for NY style pizza. Walked in because we were staying nearby and it looked like a typical NY by the slice pizza place. Had a hard time communicating with the counterman. maybe because he did not have an Italian accent. However Pizza was native NY great. Really miss that in L.A. There's over 10,000 restaurants in Manhattan this should not be one of them. My first and last Cassiano's experience. Picked up dinner from here, on the menu it says "Penne Alla Vodka with Prosciutto". The pasta was overcooked. I did not see a speck of prosciutto. I called the restaurant and spoke to a very rude and dismissive man who kept calling me babe. I am not your babe. He said the prosciutto is minced up tiny and mixed into the sauce. Well then, they should mention that on the menu. The way the dish is named on the menu is misleading. They could claim there is minced edible gold leaf in the sauce. But if you can't see it how can you be sure of it? Now I understand why the place was dead empty when I went in. read more

I ate a slice of pep at Di Napoli down the street then I had one at Cassanos. I have to say I like Cassanos better although the difference wasn't huge. Their sauce had more flavor, their crust had more the if the texture/crisp/chew I was looking for, but it was a bit sweeter than Di Napoli. Di Napoli is cheaper for a slice ($3.25 to $4). Neither were a bad slice, but neither were amazing, just good and quick. read more

Ordered the Chicken Parm and penne in vodka sauce which came with a side salad. first thought was that it was extremely salty and vodka sauce was watery. I actually created a Yelp account simply so I could review this place. It is awful! I ordered pizza for some collegues for a work party and it was horrible. I was so embarrased. 1. I asked for it to be delivered at 11:45, just prior to our lunch party at 12. It didnt get here until 12:30. 2. When I called looking for the delivery man. The guy who answered the phone was THE RUDEST person I have ever dealt with. He proceeded to put me on hold because he said he was 'overwhelmed'. 3. Finally - the pizza was terrible. Ordered BASICS. Mozzarella sticks, french fries, chicken nuggets. French fries were just OK. Mozzorella sticks tasted like they needed to be cooked a little bit long. But the chicken nuggets... THE "CHICKEN" WAS STILL PINK. WTH! And they were soaked in oil. Heres a tip for the owner: replace your chef with a 10 year old kid. Im sure youd get a lot more customares. While I frequently ordered lunch at Ray Bari and now called Cassiano's Pizza I have noticed a huge difference in the taste of food and the quality. I would often order chicken parmesan and noticed the sauce was extremely salty and chicken was not fresh. Not only was the food a huge disappointment, I also got huge attitude several times when I place an order and received the order incorrect. Will not order from this place again. The owner/whoever takes orders is a jerk. We ordered a pizza from this place and it didn't come with one of the toppings that was supposed to be there. My friends and i have been coming to this establishment for a while now and the food is quite good and until now the hospitality has been nice as well. Today, a group of friends and I were at the back eating and we were a bit loud and a worker told us to lower our decibel level. We apologized and quieted down. There was one person in our group that said something snarky but did NOT continue. He responded by saying "dont mock me, I will throw your ass out". I apologized AGAIN. However approximately 5 minutes later he came over and started speaking to us again saying things that he dealt with our type of kids everyday and he knows how we treat our teachers. Then PROCEEDED to blame it on our parents. "I dont blame you guys, its your parents fault"I understand being upset for customers being loud but ONE: this place is located a block away from a large high school TWO: he does not know anything about how we treat our teachers or about my 97 (4.0) gpa THREE: you do not know how our home life is and it is honestly disrespectful to assume our parents raised us badly. Especially after we apologized. And even if one friend said something sassy in return, and did NOT continue, does not give an adult the permission to bring up our personal life which is unknown to him. Its unfortunate that i have to give this review, given that the food here is great, but we will not deal with employees that are unable to professionally speak to their customers. read more

Came here when around this area for work. We had a nice meal here, but nothing special. Average for the area prices. I had a buffalo slice and a stuffed eggplant parm slice. The eggplant was tasty, but the center was luke warm at best. The buffalo was okay, but more like a hotsauce chicken slice. read more

Popped in here for a late night slice. It wasn't busy but the pizza was so fresh and New York style crispy! The staff was very friendly and accommodating especially when I asked for a side of marinara and they didn't even want to charge me.
