Food was amazing. Service was impeccable. The ambiance was warming and unique! The price is more than reasonable! A great date night that won't break your bank account!

Highly recommend the roasted carrots as a side! The mint is a delicious, unexpected touch. The steak was wonderful and perfectly cooked.

He's a sucker for a brunette . Max Dale's has been around a long time. It is an old school steak house. Reminds me of the 1980's which is good. Their martini lounge/bar is very nice. Dimly lit, dark wood, plush wing back chairs. We will definitely be spending some time in there. There's just one thing I need to mention. When the check comes and you look at the tip suggestions do the math yourself. The amounts they put down next to the percentages are way off. Way off. For a $300 bill the 10% suggestion was $51. I'm no math major but last I checked 10% of 300 is 30, not 51. The 15 and 20% options were also adjusted way higher than the actual math would make them. I seem to remember something on the internet about this happening all over Washington. It's a scam and I wonder where that extra money goes when people just go with the suggested tipping scale.

I noticed a bunch of slates with beer names and spotted a cider from Terramar advertising a Strawberry Rhubarb cider and decided I wanted to try that flavor combination. It was sweet with a little tart aftertaste. For my meal I opted for the Porterhouse Cheese Curds as an appetizer and the Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich with fries for my main dish. The cheese curds were nicely battered and fried and the housemade ranch was a nice accompaniment to the cheese curds. The spicy crispy chicken sandwich was only crispy on the outside where the batter was applied! The rest of the chicken was tender and juicy. So tasty . I didn't think the sandwich was all that spicy, but that would be my fault because I eat jalapeno like candy and routinely use habanero hot sauce on my food. Even though I didn't think it was all that spicy I did enjoy the flavor and crunch of the sandwich. There was a bunch of steak fries served with my sandwich. Excellent fries, but way too many for me to eat them all. I think I probably ate only 1/4 of them!! I was very tempted to order a slice of the chocolate cheesecake with housemade fudge for dessert, but I was stuffed by my appetizer and meal.

The service was fast and friendly, and the prices were super affordable. I especially appreciated that they had one of my favorite seltzers, from Stemma Brewing, on tap! We enjoyed a couple of appetizers. The calamari was crispy and delicious, and served with a side of tasty aioli. Although not quite enough aioli, as we ran out about half way through the calamari and had to order more. (Tbh I was kinda surprised when I saw they had charged us for the "extra" aioli.) The hot artichoke dip was good, too, though the portion was pretty small for the price. I'd come back again, but maybe during happy hour as it might be a better value.

This is the second place I've been to recently that has had carnivore options on their menu. Their drink menu is very extensive, they have a great tap list, and a great mocktail list. The only reason they are getting a 4 instead of a 5 is that they were out of several of the ingredients to make their mocktails they had listed on their menu and we went their specifically for the mocktail menu because my girlfriend can not have alcohol at this time. We got to the restaurant an hour early to setup the Auxiliary meeting room we reserved for our club meeting. After talking with the servers, it was decided that it may not be big enough for a group of our size. The servers graciously offered to close off the main portion of the restaurant instead, and redirect the normal patrons to the Auxiliary meeting room. This worked excellent, and there was plenty of space for our club to meet! The servers also helped up re-arrange the tables to suit our needs, and we had plenty of space.
