Coming here on a meatless Good Friday is probably not the best day for a fair evaluation, since 99% of everything offered here is some form of meat or poultry. Yes, they do have salads, a veggie sandwich, a fish sandwich, tuna salad, egg salad, fried egg sandwiches, French fries. So you can navigate around the menu as I was able to do. The fried fish sandwich was absolutely perfect! As for the ambiance, there aren't too many eat outside at picnic tables and benches places in Vero. Perhaps two. And being this close to the ocean, it's breezy, shady, colorful and fun, a block off the beach. Can't wait to return for a legendary "best burger in Vero". read more

From all the excellent reviews I never expected to be served a preformed frozen patty :( the char grilling did make it edible but disappointing. The fries were fresh, crispy and delicious. The tea was weak and not very flavorful. The atmosphere was awesome it was a beautiful day with perfect temperatures and it was nice to sit outside to eat. read more

Went for breakfast here today with my girlfriend and was pretty disappointed. The food is slightly cheaper than surrounding restaurants but for a clear reason. The quality of ingredients here is terrible. The cheese they use is the same stuff they serve in low income school cafeterias. The cheese wasn't even melted, the roll wasn't toasted or even warm, and they "forgot" to serve my side. I went to Casey's after a long day, probably like 10-15min before they closed. It was my first time and I asked a ton of questions to the cashier about recommendations and different menu items. I also forgot my wallet in the car so had to run and get it. Thankfully no one was behind me but all this to say, I never felt rushed by the cashier or any of the workers and they were all so delightful and kind. I can imagine how annoying it must be to have people come by right before closing time and take forever to order. I got the Deluxe Cheeseburger and my partner a double Bacon Cheeseburger. Our other favorite place in Vero besides EL Sid. This is a super cute, old time place. We LOVE the blackened chicken sandwich with peppers and onions. It's the best grilled chicken sandwich I have ever had. We live in Orlando and we would drive the 2 hours just to have this sandwich. My first time being at Casey's near the beach of Vero Beach. Love the outdoor, relaxed, cafe atmosphere--perfect for the area. Unfortunately, they got our order pretty wrong :( we went on a Tuesday around 12:30-not super busy but a little Line was forming. I ordered a veggie Sandwich with provolone cheese and side fries. I went to the beach to eat it and when I opened my sandwich, it was JUST cheese and bread. Not sure what happened to all the veggies in the process but they were nowhere to be found. Great sandwiches in the heart of Vero Beach just a block from the ocean. They make a fantastic Reuben sandwich on grilled rye. Recently tried one of the breakfast sandwiches that they serve until 11:00am. I had the Mexican style breakfast sandwich with jalapeño, fried egg, crispy bacon and ham. I had gotten a takeaway tuna melt from here a couple of years ago, and it was all right, but the other day, I took my 8 year old daughter to meet a friend of mine and her dog and it was stellar. My daughter ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, mayo and steak sauce. She ate the entire burger with no prompting, and said it was delicious. I had the blue bacon burger, which is of late, the most outstanding burger ever. Just the right amount of blue cheese, and it didn't crumble off onto the foil wrapper placemat. The bacon was crispy and flavorful. The burger itself was cooked to a perfect medium. The bun was fresh, and added to the eating experience by not falling apart under the heft of the meat and toppings. Service was friendly and efficient. We will definitely eat there again. read more

Always heard from family this place was a good little spot so thought I would give it a try. Went around 120pm and it was packed, not a seat to be found! Ordered the grilled chicken sammie. Was seasoned well and had good taste from the charbroiler. Def over cooked though but was still good. Fries were ok. Should go to fresh cut and this would be the spot! Friendly staff. PS, get rid of the Hunts ketchup packets and stick to Heinz (I'm from Pittsburgh lol). Will def return! read more

First time at Casey Place. we has a Ruben, and BLT sandwiches with chili fries as a side. Both sandwiches were great! Excellent corn beef, now one of my favorites. BLT was fresh and lots of Bacon. Chili fries were crispy with lots of chili! They have condiments like onions, relish and jalapeños peppers to add as a topping free of charge kept where you get your drinks. It's always pleasant to soak up the good, breezy weather, sitting at this outdoor eating place, that is, if you can get a table or don't mind sharing one. This Saturday's visit, however, was a disappointment. While the fries were predictably good, the Chicken Supreme Sandwich not so Supreme. The meat was a tough, fried and very dry less-than-substantial piece. It tasted old. One silly piece of lettuce and a decent slice of tomato on it, but no mayo - and it needed it!. I expected a lot more. Very expensive for what it is. A better bet would be to go over the bridge, but it is on the beach. This is my favorite beach day lunch spot. It is just a block or two off the beach and its not super touristy. Its definitely where the locals go. I grew up going here and I love going back, its a hometown staple to me and definitely nostalgic. The food is so good. My go to is the cheese burger but they have other types of sandwiches and hot dog options. But, in my opinion, the burgers are the best. I always get mine with bacon and it always comes with the perfect amount crisped to perfection. Their bacon is top notch, there is so much of it on the BLT. The fries are perfection - crispy on outside, mushy on inside. You can get regular or cajan and one or two orders is enough for the table. They also have a kids menu if you bring little ones along. A family of 5 can have a nice lunch here for about $50. There is no indoor seating and you place your order at the window so the line can seem intimidating at times. Sometimes it can be a little hard to find seating at lunch... but Vero people are so nice you can share a table or you can wait for one. All the tables are covered by umbrellas so you can go rain or shine. On the perfect day there is a nice ocean breeze and you find the perfect shaded spot under the trees. We enjoyed patio dining at the popular and busy Casey's Place. Great classic burgers, decent crisp French fries and a small side of cole slaw, and very good tuna melt. We very much appreciated that they permit dogs on their patio, as we were greatly disappointed that other Vero Beach establishments with patios did not. Restrooms were clean.
