Our server (Britney) went above and beyond and went to the next door eatery and brought me different dressings. Our food was brought out in a very timely fashion. The food was hot and very good. If its wings, pizza or a simple cheeseburger, you can miss with the service and food here.

Thus, I'm also trying to snag a few more reviews before my life returns to a bit more normalcy. I'd been curious about Danville's Two Guys Pies, a sister restaurant to The Beehive located in the same two-storefront strip center at the corner of Main Street and Indiana Street. Parking is a little tight here in a parking lot behind the restaurants. There are a couple accessible spots including one with a small aisle to allow for safe exit for wheelchairs. The parking spot is directly across from the building and there's a pretty good concrete ramp. I have noted there are times when longer vehicles block the somewhat narrow sidewalk just a bit. The last time I came to this building, I went to The Beehive and looked down and realized that Two Guys Pies would have been blocked had I wanted to go there. There's a couple glass doors. The dining room includes a bar area, a handful of traditional tables, and a few more booths. I really only saw a couple smaller tables (which I tend to take since I'm often dining alone), however, I was able to snag one. Two Guys Pies obviously specializes in pizza, however, they definitely have a more extensive menu. They advertise having the best salad bar in Hendricks County. There are appetizers, wings, sandwiches, wraps, pasta, calzones, rollers, bombs (I will admit I have no idea what bombs are), a kids menu, daily specials, family specials, and more. There's also lunch specials from 11am-2pm. I ordered a 7" pepperoni pizza (essentially a create-your-own option) along with two breadsticks along with unsweetened iced tea. The breadsticks came with cheese (I don't know if marinara was an option - this was delivered automatically). The pizza was definitely a thin crust. It was quite good and I would easily order it again. The menu says it comes with eight slices - just be aware it is only a 7" pizza. Those "slices"are smaller. The breadsticks were good, though I'm not sure I'd order them again at $2.99. You can order larger quantities. The service was welcoming. I enjoyed watching the atmosphere. It's clear it was a mixture of regulars and some maybe not so much so. The servers seemed relaxed with the customers. I liked that one older customer dining alone, in particular, seemed to get some definite human connection. The dining room has large windows. There are five widescreen televisions - all were showing sports, though there was some variation. I enjoyed this experience. You could also easily park at the town square and make it the one block east to Two Guys Pies. Service was great, the food was good, the prices were fair, the atmosphere was welcoming (though at least two kids acted like they'd never seen a wheelchair or an amputee before) and I'd easily return. While my time in Hendricks County is winding down, at a hard time in my life after my father's death I've enjoyed getting to know this small town a whole lot more.

To be clear, Frank's wouldn't be five stars if located in a suburban or urban area but for Danville- it's solidly a great option! I've always found the restaurant designed well & to have friendly and attentive staff. The food is very good- I thought the chicken parm was delicious. The only thing I would change is how they prepare the "Antipasto Salad," it would be much better if they served this as a chopped salad vs seemingly throwing whole pepperoni slices, tomato slices, etc on the lettuce. Tiramisu was also wonderful. Frank's is Paul's pick for when in Danville IN.

I started out with the spinach, artichoke dip with pita and their bread with oil and herbs. The bread and oil and herbs was very tasty. The spinach and artichoke dip was just okay. I feel like the flavor was maybe just different than what I'm used to in a spinach artichoke dip but would recommend it to others because it was okay. I had the linguine with clams in a white wine sauce. I had high hopes for this dish because I have ordered it at numerous other places. I would not recommend this dish. It lacked a lot of flavor. The main flavor that was brought out was wine. It felt like I was eating linguine that was just in a cup of wine. I did try to make it more palatable for myself by adding Alfredo and lots of Parmesan cheese and pepper, but couldn't get past maybe three bites of the food before I had to push it away. Very sad because that is one of my favorite dishes. I would like to try this place again, but would not go for wine sauce and hopefully find something amazing on the menu. It really is a very cute place and I love that it's in the heart of Danville.
