Had no plans for dinner and received an email with a nice deal on large 2 topping pizzas from Marco's, so decided it was pizza for dinner tonight. Ordered online, for carry out. Was able to track my order and it was ready very quickly. Store was clean, staff was friendly and had my order ready to go when I got there. Ordered a large pepperoni and mushroom with regular crust, and a large pepperoni and Italian sausage thin crust. Both were very good. I preferred the regular crust. Parking was easy and close to the door. Great deal and enough for breakfast and maybe lunch tomorrow! read more

I've been to this location quite a few times, but this time was bad. I asked for well done and I received an inedible pizza. It didn't look bad upon initial inspection, but once I got home I noticed the bottom was hard. I've gotten well done at this location before and never was this hard or dry. I wasted my money. On top of that, my pizza was not ready at the scheduled time when though the app tracker said it was. They didn't start my pizza until I arrived at the store. I had to go somewhere else to get food. Meh. One bite and you know you're eating corporatized, big-chain pizza. Its different from Dominos but I don't think its any better. Processed, pre-packaged ingredients across the board and the crust tastes like Costco pizza with some seasoning on it. Its not awful but it doesn't compare to your local, hand-tossed artisan pizza place. If you just want cheap, pizza that doesn't suck than its ok. read more

Why have I lived here for 10 years and not tried this pizza?! The crust is so flavorful. The sauce is sweet and savory. I had the Greek salad, no olives. It was fresh and crisp. I asked for some extra veggies and they did not disappoint. The dressing is Marzetti's and it's very good. I tried the wings, which are my friends FAVORITE and they were good, but nothing extraordinary. He gets them plain. Maybe I'll try that next time. Buffalo sauce was tangy. My husband had the Hawaiian and I stole a bite. Wow. I hate Hawaiian pizza and I could have smashed that entire pie. I'm trying to watch my carbs and I was spying their crustless pizza bakes, which look fab. I settled on the meatball bake under the appetizer section and added mushrooms. Wow. We order from the Avon location regularly. Our pizza is always delivered quickly, and, most importantly, HOT ! This evening, we waited nearly an hour and our pizza was lukewarm, at best. I hope this was a one-off and not a sign that Marco's is slipping into the same category as other pizza shops in the area. We'll chalk this one up to a bad night, or maybe a busy night. Ordered 2 Pizza Bowls and a fresh salad and they were were delicious. Great idea on Pizza Bowls Marcos as we sometimes were eating pizza and leaving the crust for the birds or driving extra miles for low carb cauliflower crusts. We also were happy with Grub Hub. When we first moved to the burbs this service was very disappointing for the area in being able to provide timely deliveries. With more at home orders this past year they appear to have been able to staff up. Our food was delivered on time and hot. read more

Was reluctant to order but they had a special New Year 50% and I didn't want to cook. Got a big pie and loaded it up, it was good. On time. I picked up. Store was clean and people friendly. This was my first pizza here. Pizza was good, just needed a tad bit more sauce for me-but a great value. $15 for like 8 huge pieces. Strip mall it sits in is a bit hard to get to at times. I only buy pizza with Coupons or discounts so I hope they have more soon. read more

I ordered pizzas, breadsticks, and paid for extra sauces. When the order was delivered it did not have marinara for the breadsticks or the extra ones I paid for. When I called in the told me they would not correct it. I had to go to the store and pick up the items they forgot and paid the delivery charge for. I walked in to pick up my order and the guy working had no gloves on and was taking payments handling people's payment then went and touched the food for the next order with his unwashed hands. I think I like Marco's more than Papa Johns, which is also nearby. Their crust has more flavor and the cheese is really good. Their pizza tends to run on the greasy side, but it's pizza... what did you expect? This location is quite large inside, which was surprising to me. The staff was very friendly when I picked up my pies and the order was done correctly and quickly. I'm sure we'll be back here again when in the mood for a quick pizza fix. read more

First time having Marcos and both the bread and pizza were excellent. The only downside was how incredibly hot pizza and bread was. We ate in and they must cook all as if being delivered. We could also tell they had very new employees, but all were very friendly and did a nice job. Update-on our most recent order (last week) we had it delivered and although it arrived in a timely fashion-thank you for that-we had by far the worst delivery driver Attitude wise I have ever seen anywhere or anytime. We live nearby so we eat at Marcos a lot. I tried calling in to order and they often do not have delivery available. Many restaurants are struggling with staffing right now we we drive there for pickup when necessary. We love the pizza, one of the best in the area. However I am a loyalty member and started to give my order and got hung up on. Tried calling several times for almost 2 hours. Kept getting hung up on. My boyfriend called and same thing. Eventually they stopped even picking up the phones at all. Not sure what what's happening but it was very frustrating. I know many of the staff are very young but we don't think it's usually a big deal. They lack professionalism and sometimes leave me sitting outside a long time for my curbside pickup. Forgot about me once and had to call and go inside. We did end up having to get pizza elsewhere. Hope customer service improves. We love the food. read more

Growing up in Toledo, OH where Marcos originated, I was raised on this pizza )every Friday to be exact ). I love Marcos and I tell anyone who will listen how much I love it which is why I gave it five stars but every time I have ordered at this location recently I have been a little disappointed because I order online, get cheese bread with extra cheese and EVERY TIME they don't put on extra cheese but instead give me cheese cups (no marinara or ranch like I order it). I don't understand how that keeps getting messed up but the first time they did offer to remake it but I didn't want to wait or have a cold pizza to take home. Guess I will have to start ordering over the phone. Also, I have noticed that the Marcos outside of Toledo do not have enough sauce. If you want a really good Marcos pizza, add extra sauce and maybe some extra cheese :) read more

I discovered this pizza place about 2 years ago when we moved to the area. We ordered inside, and took it to go, once, and I have also ordered delivery twice, of which today was one of those days. To me, Marco's Pizza taste better than Papa Johns. I have never had a bad experience. The food is good quality, and good flavor. The staff is friendly. Both times I've ordered delivery, they arrived quicker than the estimated time and they were busy today. Today I ordered online. It took about 40 minutes from the time I ordered and received the order confirmation to get our order, which was quicker than the estimated time they gave. My Dad ordered a small deluxe pizza and he hasn't eaten pizza in about 3 years. He said it was better than Pizza Hut back where he lives. He only wished for more green peppers than they had given. He ate a couple slices and took the rest home with him. We also ordered a medium sausage, mushroom,and onion pizza, and a grilled chicken and pineapple pizza. The chef salad was good, as well as the cheesy bread and cinnasquares. We ate it without the vanilla icing that comes with it. Thanks for the good food. read more

Let me start by saying that I really enjoy their pizza, breadsticks, and other dishes. My family used to prefer Papa John's but Marco's is clearly the favorite now. I'd gladly give a 4 or 5 rating based on the food. Having said that, their delivery times are terrible. Last night we were told it would take an hour, which seemed a little long -- but in reality it took two hours! When I called and asked for an update, I was told that they only had one driver and he did not have a cell phone. No apology was offered, just a promise that it would be there "in three minutes." It finally arrived about 10 minutes later...at least it was still warm. This is the second time that I've had extremely late delivery from this location. Marco's needs to either be more honest in their time estimates or they need to hire more drivers. We'll probably get their pizza again but we'll pick it up ourselves or eat in. read more

Timely delivery and we were impressed by the good flavor of the pizzas we ordered. Love the crust- good flavor, dense but soft and not all big and airy like most delivery chains crusts. Worst experience I have ever had. Ordered on the phone was told 20 minutes. I go up there to pay and manager said "not quite ready" so I sit down and wait. I sit there for 45 fucking minutes! The manager asked me twice what the name was and went back to making pizzas. Didn't even look. Multiple people answered phones and didn't even stop to ask what I was waiting for. I watched 2 people walk out because they didn't even start making the food. MY FOOD WAS ON THE SHELF FOR 35 MINUTES! The manager needs fired and replaced with somebody who know how to run a store. Would not recommend to anybody ever. $40 to sit there and wait. read more
