Rockstar Pizza is a fun, cozy little spot--smaller than I expected with a cool vibe and purple walls making up the interior. While the salad bar looked very popular, I decided to be smart with my calories and stick to a pizza, but the real star of the show was definitely the stuffed breadsticks paired with nacho cheese that just hit the spot!  For the main course, I ordered a 10" thin crust with pepperoni, sausage, and green peppers. The pizza crust was a bit overdone, but it still hit the spot.  Overall, it's a cool joint with great service. If you are a fan of NY style pizza this might be for you. For us not so much. The crust couldn't even hold its own weight it is sagging times two. We ordered extra cheese, there must be NO cheese on their regular pizza, because we didn't notice "extra" cheese. This was the second time we tried rockstar. Don't think we going to spend $36 for a large pie there again. We had the pizza delivered by Uber Eats. It was delivered in a very reasonable time on a Saturday evening (6:30). The food is lackluster. The service seems to be good. They're nice people. The ambience is dive. The pizza is really not good but then again there's only one or two good pizza places in all Of Indiana. The lunch buffet was nice but it's not stocked often. the salad bar that comes with it is actually much better. We decided to try this for lunch and we were pleasantly pleased. The restaurant was limited on seating and we were glad that we got there early for lunch because it quickly filled up. There are two rooms to dine in. But not a lot of tables so avoid busy times. They have a salad bar with lots of selections and a pizza bar as well. Plus they had soups and breadstick. Rockstar Pizza was a fun and memorable experience. I went specifically to take on their massive pizza challenge, and although I didn't win, the pizza itself was pretty good. The flavor was solid, the crust had a great crunch, and the sauces were honestly delicious, the pizza sauce and garlic sauce both stood out in a really good way. The only downside was that the pizza was a bit on the greasy side, but that's somewhat expected with a pizza of that size. The wait was a little long, but considering I ordered a huge challenge pizza, it made sense. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and I appreciated that they even took before-and-after pictures for me. It adds to the fun and makes the whole experience feel more exciting. The inside of the restaurant is really cool, decorated with photos and artwork of famous rockstars all over the walls, giving the place its own unique vibe. It's definitely a spot with personality. Even though it's a bit out of the way for me, I'd definitely visit again. Based on ratings and previous reviews, we decided to visit when we were in town for a baseball tournament. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. The salad bar was a typical salad bar, albeit overpriced for what it is. The pizzas were just a step up from frozen pizza. The Thai pizza specifically had a sauce and flavor that was not favorable. Overall, we tried something new. We didn't feel that the quality matched the number reflected on our tab. I wouldn't be recommending this one with a clear conscience. read more

First time at Rockstar Pizza. Choose here because of the lady that is one of the owners. I met her and her son at a fundraiser a few months back. Loved that they had a salad bar. We got two salad bars and spilt a strom. The salad bar was great. The strom was a bit thin. Although tasted good. Friends got a Detroit style pizza that looked good. But didn't taste jt. Other friend got a Calzone. It was huge. It had great flavor and I loved the crust. So fluffy and not heavy. The calzone would serve at least three people. Only complaint would be it was so cold inside. I had on jeans a T-shirt and a long sleeve flannel shirt and I was freezing. Five stars had it been warmer. read more

Met up with friends on a Wednesday night for dinner. Nine of us had eaten here before so it was a first for all of us. We arrived just after 5 and only one table was occupied. Once seated, we ordered drinks then perused the menu. I settled on the salad bar and breadsticks with garlic butter, my friends each ordered a pizza, the cheesy bread, a sandwich and got the salad bar. Overall, the food was decent. The items in the salad bar were fresh and there were some dessert options too. The breadsticks were good. However, the garlic butter was sorely lacking in the garlic flavor. My friend also asked for the cheese sauce to go with the cheesy bread and it looked and tasted like the cheese that comes out of a can. I would probably eat here again but as I'm not a fan of pizza, I'd most likely try the wings to see I they are good. The restaurant did start to fill up about 30 minutes after we arrived so they seem to do steady business. Hopefully I won't forget about this place as it's kinda hidden when you're driving down Main Street. read more

I went here for the buffet, it was crowded and they couldn't keep food out on the bar. I first asked politely if they were able to restock the lettuce and the staff seemed annoyed but said yes. Later I heard someone else ask about more food and as the staff walked away they complained they had just put it out. Monday night pizza buffet, well sorta:( Only had cheese pizza on the buffet had to ask for a pizza with meat. Breadsticks were good, liked it better when they brought to the table as we had to wait for the buffet to get stocked again. I know it's a small business but maybe have 1 of each typical pizza available instead of having to ask. $12 pizza and drink isn't bad though, only available from 5-7pm Monday only! What a great pizza. I called in to order a pizza and add on cheesy bread sticks. Now normally this wouldn't be a big deal but it was Christmas day. Well usually if you want pizza on Christmas good luck if you don't have a frozen one in the freezer. I had remembered reading last year that they open on the holidays on a volunteer basis with employees deciding if they want to open and they get the sales made. Nonetheless, the sausage pizza was perfect. Very good crust, and the kind of sausage I like aka real sausage and not frozen nuggets. Really good cheese and enough sauce added up to a great pizza. The price was not bad too particularly on a major holiday. The service was very friendly and boy were they busy but the wait wasn't too bad to get the pizza and cheese bread. Dropped in on a Monday night, had no idea it was Buffett night. We didn't get it but maybe next time. The soups looked amazing and there were 4 varieties. We went for the pickle stuffed breadsticks and they didn't disappoint, they were so good. I also got the dill aioli . My husband got the pepperoni stuffed and he loved it. We then split the Nashville hot pizza and it was also very good. I dipped it in the aioli from the breadsticks and it was even better. The staff was amazing, I don't know our servers name. But she was so sweet and offered money off our pizza because it took so long. We declined as we had just left a funeral and needed the detox time. I have been intrigued by this restaurant for the longest time and was finally able to check it out. It has a large parking lot that it shares with the other business in the strip mall that it is in. They have a decent sized dining room with 2 sides. You will find a couple of televisions in the dining area and they are playing music throughout. The restaurant has a Rock and Roll theme and has eclectic decorations all around. Our server was so very friendly. She was awesome. The restaurant serves wings, homemade soup, salads, and a variety of gluten free, keto (only available in medium) pizzas. They also serve keto wings, subs and desserts. If you are wondering what keto is, like I was, it is short for ketogenic and refers to a diet that is low in carbohydrates but high in protein. It is associated with a weight loss diet...score. The restaurant also has a pizza challenge for you competitive eaters.It is called the 30" Pizza Challenge. Two people get 45 minutes to down the 30 inch pie. If they succeed then they get the pie for free. Me and my pal were not ready for that we could have probably ate a 10 inch pie together though. If we tried the challenge, there would have been a lot of left overs to take home. Anyway, they have a daily all you can eat pizza bar that runs until 2PM and a very nice salad bar, that includes soup and runs almost up until they close. I ordered the the Mexican pizza. It took about 15 minutes for me to get my food. I will admit that the crust was a bit different than I was use to, but it was not in a bad way. The pie was delicious. It melted in my mouth and was very tasty. My buddy that was with me got the salad bar and spoke highly of it. He really liked the soup and I could tell by how many trips he made to the bar. The staff periodically freshens up the bar. They did it while I was there. This is a gem tucked away in the up and coming town of Brownsburg, just outside of the downtown area. This was our first visit. I will say this we are Pizza Nobs. Coast to Coast. We've done them all right down to competitive pies, local NYC, Chicago, international and all the way back to the motherland Italy. So I'll be kind here as expectations were some what low. The place is definitely a local joint with a Funky Kewl vibe. Small with Large group tables. The service was quick, efficient and friendly. Drink service quick. The menus had a lot to choose from. Styles and options. The prices were extremely fair. I did like the fact the the servers let everyone know about the potential cooking times for deep dish n Detroit styles of pies. Spot on. If you know you know. The totchos (Tatertott Nachos were) unique And good. A touch over cooked but dill good. The cheese sticks and Marinara were fresh hot and on point. The Detroit style pie was u bit under cooked a doughy. Over all the experience was mediocre at best. Thank for you hospitality Rock Star but a return visit is unlikely. read more

Road Construction signs in Brownsburg will give you the idea that you can't get to the restaurant but there is no construction around that area.
