We were visiting from Ky for a swim meet and were looking for local pizza. We hit the jackpot with Porky's. I first want to say Sarah needs a raise. She answered the phone. Despite my southern accent she answered all my questions and was polite when I said I needed to call back for a later delivery time. She is an asset to your business. The pizza was very good. I liked the sauce and the crust was outstanding. The cookie was HUGE and very good. The breads were just ok. I would not get them again. We did deliver and it was prompt. And.... You guessed it, Sarah delivered it. Since we did delivery I can't speak the ambiance of the restaurant itself. Solid choice if you are looking for pizza! read more

I've been wanting to try Porky's for a while now, and the opportunity presented itself perfectly yesterday. I ordered the deluxe pizza online, for in store pickup. When I arrived, I was greeted quickly, and was told my order was almost ready. The store is clean and tidy. The two ladies working in the store were SO friendly. Like, I thought gosh, I could hang out here and make pizzas, and I think we would all have a great time. However, my hungry husband at home probably wouldn't have been too happy with me. I ordered the deluxe pizza. It was very good! The pepperoni has a nice little kick to it, and the crust was done to my liking. I will certainly be stopping in again the next time I am in the area and we are wanting pizza. It is carryout or delivery only, but if the weather is nice, you aren't far from Garfield Park, so you could grab carryout and have a picnic in the park. The only downside was I had to smell that pizza on my 30 minute car ride home. Thanks, Porky's, for a great experience! read more

Porky's Pizza Plus - Pizza Near Me - Indianapolis, Indiana

If you've never been to Porky's Pizza on the south side of Indianapolis, you're seriously missing out. This takeout-and-delivery-only spot may look unassuming from the outside, like a humble hole-in-the-wall, but don't let that fool you--it's serving up some of the best pizza in the city. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a haze that's almost smoky, but not from fire--just the unmistakable scent of fresh pizza being made with so much love and care. It's like the kitchen itself is working overtime, sending waves of that deliciousness straight into your senses. The pizza itself? Perfection. The thin crust is crisped just right on the edges and soft, chewy in the center--light but satisfying, with that perfect balance of crunch and pillowy texture. The mozzarella cheese stretches just enough, melting beautifully without overwhelming the other flavors. And the sauce--wow. It's sweet, tangy, and so perfectly balanced that you'll find yourself savoring every bite, wishing you could bottle it up and take it home. But beyond the pizza, there's something special about Porky's location on the Southside of Indianapolis. This part of town is the real deal. The Southside is where the working-class heart of the city beats--no glitzy boutiques, no overpriced avocado toast--just people who know that good food doesn't need to be flashy to be great. Porky's fits perfectly into this vibe: humble, no-frills, and unapologetically delicious. Unlike the Northside, where everything feels polished and high-end--fancy restaurants, boutique shops, and a crowd that seems more concerned with appearances than actually enjoying what's in front of them. The Southside, though? It's got soul. It's about community, authenticity, and, of course, amazing pizza. Porky's is a reflection of that--straightforward, genuine, and exactly what you want when you're craving a truly great meal. If you find yourself on the Southside (or are willing to make the drive), don't miss Porky's. It's not just a pizza--it's a slice of Indianapolis that's real, humble, and ridiculously good. Food is always good and reasonably priced plus there's usually a couple Little Hotties LOL

Pizza is cheap really good the sausage is the best I recommend it if you look for out to eat and love pizza

The people are so cool and the driver was great . Pizza was really good too. Will be going back for sure !! read more

I just got the chance to try this place recently and the pizza was delicious. I ordered a large barbecue chicken pizza, breadsticks and a two liter it was very reasonably priced! The customer service was great on the phone and in person when I picked up as well. Didn't take long for them to have my order ready as well about 25 minutes. I'm definitely going to be coming back in the future if you're in the area give this place some support! read more

I thought Porky's was great. We just tried it for the first time tonight. My grandparents live just down the road and this was the closest local pizza joint (always eat local). We ordered Porky's takeout special of two large, one topping pizzas for $19.99. They also offered 1 large topping + 2-liter of soda for $9.99 or a large pizza, large breadsticks and 2-liter for $17.99. We didn't need the soda so stuck with pizza only. We ordered sausage for one of the pizzas and half cheese/half pepperoni for the other. Everything was ready in the 20 minutes they told me it would be. And the pizzas tasted great! Thin crust and cut in squares. I love the smaller, crumbly sausage and the pepperoni was good as well. Definitely a great choice for takeout or delivery pizza on Indy's south side. Note that they do not have a dine-in option. I've also attached full menu pics and their specials from a flyer on our pizza box. Enjoy! read more

I love this place, pizza is always fresh, the sauce is a little sweet I love it. I feel they don't put much on the pizza so I always ask for extra and it's perfect. Also there is a sampler pack thing it's amazing it's got poppers, wings, fries, chicken tenders and a few other things! Everything in that sampler pack is so tasty! The people who work there are always super sweet. I do recommend this place. The prices are decent not cheap but not super expensive either. read more

Food wasn't bad for the time of night that we got it! It filled our bellies. I would recommend going earlier in the night. The burger was good, baked beans were alright (seemed like they were from a can unfortunately). I think the only part of the meal that I could say I want 100% wasn't happy with was the fried mushrooms. They seemed to be cooked too fast as they were still mushy inside (not the mushroom). We took a few bites and threw them away. Again, not completely writing the establishment off, just if the opportunity presents itself to go in again, I'm prepared to possibly not have a great meal. read more

The food was just alright. The wings were nothing special and were soggy even though they didn't have a lot of sauce on them. The pizza was good it is a sweeter sauce, but what I didn't like is that the sausage was crumbled and made the pizza look brownish. The breadsticks were really good though! read more

Porky's Pizza Plus - Pizza, breadstick and Buffalo wings - Pizza Near Me - Indianapolis, Indiana

A good neighborhood pizza place. We've been going here almost as long as we've lived in this part of Indianapolis. The food is good and reasonably priced. The service is friendly and courteous. We live nearby so I always order carry out, which means I can't say how good their delivery service is. They make a good, flavorful pizza with quality ingredients. They also have a selection of sandwiches, salads, sides, and desserts which I may try someday if I can stop stuffing myself with their pizza! No dine-in area, strictly delivery and carry out. read more

Porky's Pizza Plus - a pepperoni pizza in a box - Pizza Near Me - Indianapolis, Indiana

I have been going to Porky's Pizza Plus for several years now. This is by far the best Pizza place in Indy period! The quality of the pizza is above par while the customer service is exactly what you would expect from a small family owned business. Very friendly and welcoming establishment. I highly recommend Porkys to anyone. Great Great Great Pizza!!! read more

The wings are okay. The breadsticks taste stale. The thin, cardboard like crust and lackluster tasting sauce makes the pizza barely edible. I don't plan on ordering pizza from them again, but might try their other options at a later point if I'm hungry enough. read more

Very sweet marinara. Not for me, but if you're in to that sort of thing it is none of my business. Other than that they got some nice peoples. Worthy of 2 stars. read more

Porky's Pizza Plus is excellent!!! Best pizza on the south side!!! You won't be disappointed if you like dirty greasy pizza. Seriously Great!!! read more

First off they cut the pizza into these weird squares and the crust is super thin so it's like eating squares pizza slices with no crust. The texture was way off and they flavor is lacking at best. By far the worst pizza I have ever eaten. My wife gets upset if I even mention them. I have no idea how they stayed in the pizza business this long. read more

Frozen crust. Pizza is thin and crispy...which isn't my gig, but I pretty much love all pizzas, so hard to disappoint me. The advertised special on the board outside the door was 1 topping 12" for $5.14 or something close. Service was fine and quick but it was late on a weekday. I would rate it somewhere between a Totinos and a Pizza Hut. For $5 I would probably return out of convenience and price, but I bet it will take me a few months to desire to come back. There didn't seem to be many sides I would be interested in, and I wish I had remembered to take a menu. It was OK. You get what you pay for, but if you don't care for thin and crispy I would stick with Little Caesars across the street. read more

We've grabbed Porky's several times and have not been disappointed. We usually grab the two larges for $20 special. It's not the best pizza, but it's certainly better than a lot of chains. Their prices are great. Always check their Facebook for up-to-date specials. read more

It's not gourmet but I've never been disappointed. They include a good amount of toppings. The price and specials (ask when you call) are comparable to chains but I think the pizza is better here, and plus you get to support a small local shop. I would recommend giving it a try - and get sausage as a topping. It's really good here. read more

I have eaten Porky's Pizza almost every week this summer. The Carry out special is an awesome deal for someone that wants a pizza and a drink for a good price! If you feel the crust gets too crispy you can request they cook it on a pan instead of the mesh pans it is normally cooked on. The Porky's Nachos are also very good and come topped with more than just cheese and meat. As far as sandwiches go, I would recommend the pizza Stromboli or the chicken bacon ranch sandwich. the delivery drivers are very quick and are always nice. There is no delivery fee however, orders must be at least $10 It is best if you call your order in ahead of time and state when you would like it delivered. I would recommend everyone to try this place. read more

I was a little worried about trying somewhere new, especially a place that wasn't a chain restaurant, but I was really impressed by Porky's Pizza! They had an amazing deal, and the pizza is quality. We had crumbled sausage and mushroom pizza, and it was incredible! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to try quality pizza that is set apart from the cookie-cutter chain restaurant pizza! YUM! read more

Porkys has breadsticks, pepper poppers in addition to really tasty pizza. Long time customer.

Very average, but consistently average pizza shop that delivers to the Garfield Park area. As a local resident, I have tried several items on the menu and the nachos and taco pizza are my favorites. Always reasonably quick and my order has always been correct. While this isn't my favorite pizza place around, I'm grateful for its delivery service on those nights where I'm just too lazy go out or cook. read more

The stars named it on this one. This place is so "meh" for me. It's not god awful, but it's not awesome either. The crust is the kind that you shouldn't even bother trying to eat the next day because it is so rock hard you might break a tooth, even after oven cooking, and the breadsticks are literally that. Just sticks of bread. The only thing about this place I did enjoy was the delivery driver. I don't know if he still works for them, but he had this super tricked out van, I mean no back seat but huge speakers with these blue lights around them. It was pretty neat to see him pull up and deliver pizza. Otherwise, I'm just not a huge fan of this place. read more

I house sit in this neighborhood from time to time, and decided to try Porky's out. Meh. A frozen pizza is probably better. I will say that their pepperoni was lean, but the pizza as a whole had little flavor. I was the only pizza carry out order, so maybe their sandwiches are where it's at. I would give it another shot. Friendly service. read more

I really enjoy this pizza. The sauce is a bit sweet which I like, great flavor. Good breadsticks too - soft and chewy. I always find them quick with delivery and they are low priced and offer lots of coupons/deals. read more

In town from Chicago and ordered a 16" deluxe. Excellent pizza! Fresh and home made. Friendly staff. This sure beats the chains.

The pizza was alright. A decent option if you're sick of pizza hut or papa johns. But, I am giving this 2 stars based on the lack of customer service provided. A couple days prior to placing an order ourselves, my brother in law ordered pizza from them to be delivered to our house- no issues. Later on, we decided to give them a try. We called to place our order and once my husband gave our address we were told they don't deliver that far....however, we are within the same zip code. After a lot of back and forth and letting them know they delivered to us before, they begrudgingly completed the order. They were never apologetic about their attitude towards us. So, that was the first and last time we will be ordering from them. read more

I am sorry to say that this was the worst pizza ever! Decided to try because wanted to support local business. Crust really did look and taste like cardboard. Really, cardboard would have been better. Sauce was odd -- tomato sauce with some oregano sprinkled on top. Sausage was not good -- very finely ground meat of some kind with sprinkled across top. Did not taste like either breafast or Italian sausage. Not much cheese and it was not tasty. Really, the cheapest frozen pizza at the grocery store would be better. read more
