The walk-in beer cooler is accessible from both sides of the store and the selection of beer, cider, and wine was extraordinary! They had a variety of local and non-local, and all price points so you definitely have options depending on your mood. There were a ton of produce and fresh food options that I saw as well, even though we didn't purchase anything from those. I never caught the cashier's name, but she was a shorter, dark haired lady and was so so nice! She talked to me about my wine option and reassured my choice was a good one! Definitely recommend stopping here whether you're passing through, camping, or enjoying a beach getaway!

I appreciate having an occasional glass of wine, and expect that it's difficult to find a quality wine selection in a small town that probably depends very heavily upon the tourist trade. Frankly, most towns known for heavy tourist traffic usually don't do well when it comes to what they stock in wines -- they usually aren't that impressive. I was truly shocked to see an excellent selection of highly-rated wines, especially for domestic Cabernet Sauvignon. If you enjoy having an excellent wine, this is the place to find it.

Let's get started with their newest addition: their expanded hot food section in the back. Leonardi's and the bakery are obviously on the front and side respectively. But in the back, used to only be rotisserie chicken. Now they have several varieties of chicken, potato wedges, corn dogs and pizza sticks, all hot and cheap ready to consume! They'll typically carry everything you could possibly be looking for, and they'll typically have it the cheapest of any store in the county. They'll usually have most new stuff pretty quickly, occasionally on release day. You shouldn't have any serious employee or service issues. Anyone that mentions lines, yes there can be lines...it's an extremely popular store! Also, it being the cheapest prices, and one of few 24 hour places of any type in town...means you may see some interesting people. It's got an atmosphere sort of similar to maybe Costco, if nothing was in bulk and the building was smaller, and the store was an obviously employee owned store. Also, the parking lot is pretty big. But the surrounding stores in the plaza aren't super popular, so even if WinCo's lot is packed, you should have no problem parking. At the end of the day, I just have to walk across two crosswalks and I'm here. (It's so close that I walk for exercise.) I am a regular, multiple times a week grabbing groceries or even snacks, and now I'll be regularly getting their new cheap hot meal as previously mentioned and shown in the photos. While nothing is outstanding, it's not getting a bad rating because I wouldn't come as often if it was truly horrible.

Because we were driving through on our road trip, we decided to make a stop here for a late lunch this last Tuesday afternoon, around 2:15 pm. After we parked, we walked inside and headed towards the salad bar/ hot bar food area. After looking around (there is also a counter that you can order made to order sandwiches and burritos), I ended up deciding to purchase the following: Peanut Chicken Sesame Noodle Salad, $8.99- This was quite a massive portion so I only ended up eating about 1/3 of it and then had the rest over the next few days (I ended up mixing it with some chopped cucumbers and tomatoes that I had to make a large salad). I loved the peanut sesame dressing and noodles in this salad but wished there was more chicken. Mayak Egg Noodle Bowl, $8.99- My husband picked this salad for himself but I didn't have any. He thought it was good and appreciated something fresh, as his bowl had shredded cabbage, like my salad, and cucumbers and shredded carrots. Pumpkin Pie, $6.99- My husband saw this small pumpkin pie and decided to get it because he is such a big fan of it. I actually don't like pumpkin as much as when I was much younger. But I did like this pie and thought the flavors were well balanced, not too overly sweet. ---------------------------------------- (Total= $24.97) I really appreciated that the little dining area (there is also an outdoor dining area as well but because it had rained previously, we opted to sit inside) had plastic bowls and plates available for you to put your food in. This was helpful for me to be able to thoroughly mix my noodle salad since the dressing was mostly on the bottom. Then after I mixed it, I just put it back in the plastic container and only left about 1/3 of the salad in my bowl to eat. If I lived in this area, I would definitely be a regularly of this market (specifically for the prepared food area).

The general store itself carries a wide variety of items from food, to pet essentials, to ice cream, to crayons and pvc pipes. If you need it, chances are you will at least find some kind of compromise. While shopping I experienced a wonderful surprise when the sweetest kitty came walking up to me. I was curious if he was a cradling kitty, lap kitty, or only touch me when I want to be touched kind of kitty. If you're a cat or animal person, you know exactly what I mean. To my extreme delight she allowed me to pick her up and walk around the store with her. Her purring was so loud you could probably hear it on the other side of the store. Samsung made my heart so happy that day! Come for what you need, and stay to give this sweet girl love! You will not be sorry.

They're stores that "generally sell all the things". This shop definitely achieves that. The day before, we were hoping to go to a grocery store but of course there aren't any. We happened upon a "market" which was nothing more than a gas station mini mart that didn't carry much at all. I had lectured my cousin at that point that the place to pick is always the General Store. One day later, we came here. It was a bit musky and run down looking, but the lady working there was super nice and the shop itself had TONS OF STUFF. Need pvc piping? This is your spot! Need random fishing supplies, you can get that here! Missing your pet cat at home? Come here and meet Samsung and make up for lost cuddles! Okay okay, in all seriousness though, we came here for a resupply on foods. We were able to purchase ground beef, pasta sauces and organic pasta! There was also a huge selection of ice cream and ice cream bars too. Not too much for the vegans, but that's to be expected. HOWEVER there were two instant noodles that were vegan/vegetarian-friendly, which was more than enough to make me happy. I didn't buy anything but was thoroughly impressed with my exploration of their curation of "general offerings". There were hatchets, ice scrapers, mops, cleaning supplies, random souvenirs and pretty much anything you can think of that you might need to get when staying in a cabin for a few days. One bummer was they sold out of eggs, but at least they carry them! Did I mention you need to visit because of the kitty? She's the cutest and had an adorable bed set up in one of the aisles. Sorry I didn't get a pic of it but just look at the kitty, Samsung!
