I asked for the larger of the two. A lady cashier steps in and says I got this. She then grabs a different type of burrito and I said excuse me, are you sure that's the right kind? She gets snippy and says he wanted beef and bean and now he wants bean and cheese. I said no, I asked for the larger of the bean and cheese. The guy says oh you said beef and bean, so now I have two employees acting short with me, over their misunderstandings. The lady acts like a big deal to switch burritos and then after she does, I check the bag, it's the tiny one, but yet it's full price. I said I wanted the regular size one, and started getting more attitude, so I said screw it, paid, and left. So anyway, if you stop here, be prepared for rudeness and to be charge $1.39 for a toddler sized burrito. I'll be sure to hit any other gas station from now on.

Upon further examination I realized that some employee must have been feeling devious this morning and decided to go low-fat on these dreadful doughnuts. I scoured the store thinking someone accidentally and mistakenly took it. I then saw it near the front desk where 2 employees (security?) had taken it in fear someone was going to steal the groceries in it since it was near the entrance. No apologies. Apparently, this Longview area has a big theft problem. Deciding not to wait in line for only one cashier lane open, I checked out the groceries myself. (As in - doing the job of the cashier.) Quite an inconvenient experience in all.

I went here today with my partner before returning home from a mini trip. Overall, we thought the…read moreselection of alcohol was decent for their size-they had good varieties of alcohols and mixers for a small shop. Not as many bitters or barware, but they had the basics. However, their customer service was uncomfortable and unprofessional. Masking was optional due to the signage on the door. They have a sign with the mask guidelines from the state of Oregon which was to the side of the door, and they have a letter from the sheriff which takes issue with the masking policy on their door. I have included photos of the signs outside of their shop so people can see these for themselves, and come to their own judgement. We chose to keep our masks on. They did have a sneeze guard between the floor and the unmasked cashier. The cashier was openly throwing dirty looks at the customers who were wearing masks-we were not the only ones who had our masks on. She was polite and showed exceptional service to the customers who did not wear masks and made this obvious. She did the bare minimum to make the sale-what should have been a simple transaction was unnecessarily hostile. We were paying customers who not only shown a negative attitude, but witnessed other masked customers be openly ignored and disrespected as well. We will not be coming back.

I highly recommend all ampm's. However, if I were to rank the ones in the county, this would…read moreunfortunately be last place. Let's start with the pros: the gas station. It has a gas station outside, of course. It's exactly what you'd expect, all hours of the day. No issues there. Same lower than average prices. I've got no problems with their gas. But, if you pay with cash, beware of the inside. Unfortunately, I've come here semi-regularly for the last few years. I'd still come at least a couple times a year, before I moved to living closer to it in 2020. I can confidently say, I've never seen this location hire a good cashier. Most don't enjoy their job. Or they'll do a bad job, amongst all other critiques people have for employees. I once witnessed a very personal argument between two employees, because they were yelling at each other as loud as they possibly could. It's really a night and day difference from the Kelso location, which holds their employees better and hires better ones too. It's got a terrible ambiance because of that, and because of the customers who roll in. You're gonna see the usual odd customers of Longview, to put it kindly. It's also just a dirtier feeling store overall, especially when compared to Kelso. However I will say, they seem to keep their stocking situation in a good place. You may not find hot food, which is unfortunately generally the case with most ampm's the past few years, but otherwise this should have what you expect from ampm. Here's a way to describe it: if they had a good cashier, then it'd probably be a pretty good location. You see odd people all around town, so that's not make or break for me. I've unfortunately never managed to purchase any hot food at this establishment, they're always out. If it's anything like other ampm's, it's pretty tasty, affordable and very hot. Is there anything else to say? I guess I could include that I overall love "ampm" and will have no problem stopping by here. The employees being bad aren't exactly an uncommon thing in town. Overall, this establishment is a bit more suspect than you'd expect considering its location. It keeps things in stock, has a good gas station, and shouldn't be too deterring to locals. Visitors might be a different story, because employees can't be kept, and aren't good enough to necessarily be sad about that. My actual rating would be 5/10, but considering Yelp is five stars and not ten stars, I'll round down to two stars since I overall don't love the establishment.

Don't know if it still does today, I have to admit I haven't been to this little since I was probably 10 years old, but the fact that it's still there and going strong, along with the post office, definitely says that they must be doing something right! As far as the having short hours, that's because the community is just a very tiny little community, who uses it! And I don't think they "HAVE TO" have a PO Box, but can if they want to.
