When I walked in the house Christmas music was playing in all the rooms on the intercom system! So far, the work we had done appears to have been done well and I might have forgiven the issues we had in getting it done had the company been more responsive. As it turned out, a new employee was setting appointments and having been left unattended, made errors resulting in our not finding out until the night before via a "cancellation" notice, that our appointment would not happen the next day. In contacting the office, I was offered the Field Supervisor to speak with concerning the issue however, she never made contact with me or responded to her office with a resolve. It took two weeks to get the appointment and almost another two weeks to finally have the work done. Apparently, the company uses an independent Quality Survey company who persisted to make contact and after providing them with the issues and that I left less than favorable reviews, including a BBB Complaint, within 48 hours, I received a call from the Sales Manager who expressed what I feel was a genuine interest in what happened and sought to make amends for all the problems. For this reason, I am revising my reviews to reflect a neutral rating. Would I use them again? From a quality of work standpoint, its a high probability I would however, I would feel the need to work closely with their office to ensure that the same issues don't repeat.

The company responded promptly and engaged with me directly via Yelp, which I appreciated - much better than others who just use the functionality to request contact info without really understanding the project. They were able to send out an electrician for a free quote, who was very professional and communicated well. The quote was a very reasonable price compared to what I had been told as possibilities from other companies, so I accepted it and he was able to complete the work immediately. In the end, the work was done to my complete satisfaction, quite promptly, and at a great price - I couldn't have asked for more!

I got no response from a request to move them so I did it myself. You can buy these things at Home Depot. Guidance from on line is very clear. The instruction manual by Johnson Controls is one size fits all and had 12 pages that were not applicable so a bit confusing. They have bern removed. Smoke detectors: Tec. info was not provided until I asked for it. Was told a "heat" detector would be placed just outside the kitchen so smoke from cooking would not set it off. WRONG.They installed a a standard smoke detector that alarmed the first time we fried a fish. That got replaced with a heat unit. The App: The console lists all sensors as it should. The App lists only non burglary sensors but includes one of two gas sensors. Why? Still waiting for an answer. All this in two months. I'm surprised they are still in business. Wish I could get my money back. The key box: Made in China and instructions writter by a Chinese person who spent 10 mins. in the US. I rewrote the whole thing in correct English and gave it to the salesman. ARRG.
