Since it was Nov. 2 and I hadn't heard a peep, I called to find out when they were planning to come out. They wouldn't be servicing us anymore, Tanya told me, because our account had been sent to collections. Then she hung up on me. The account was sent to collections because we never received any invoice! It was paid in full immediately when we received the collections notice, and I called Automatic to apologize for the oversight and explain that we hadn't gotten any of the invoices they said they'd sent. It was the first time in all our years of doing business that we had overlooked a payment. At the time, they acted as though everything was fine, but now they were refusing service. After arranging winterization services with another company, I called back to complain about Tanya hanging up on me. I asked to speak with her manager, and she told me she was the manager. I asked her why she had hung up on me, and she replied that they were not going to service our property and she was not going to waste any more time talking to me about it. THEN SHE HUNG UP ON ME AGAIN. I want to make sure as many people as possible know what a horrible company this is to do business with. Avoid at all costs. At no time did Automatic telephone requesting payment, as Tanya claimed in her "review." I am a real (former) customer who believes others would benefit from being able to read about my real discontent without having it shunted off as a filtered review.

I called them to make sure the rates were accurate, and to get an idea of when they would do the test. The guy was super nice, and he said he'd do the test on Wednesday, and they said they'd leave a note on the door when it was completed. They did it a day early, and left the note on the door just like they said. This was exactly the ideal experience in my opinion, so I strongly recommend them!

Recently installed pavers caused some of the existing underground pipes to fail because they'd been hit by paver workers digging, but these guys addressed and resolved the issues. The controller seems relatively easy to set up a regular scheduled watering program with a manual over-ride especially for newly applied grass seed. Since the controller is a wi-fi operation, it also recognizes and self adjusts when rain is in the forecast. Kyle was patient explaining the features of the controller. I was very impressed watching these guys work as a team, resolving difficulties with the install and finalizing the project. Gardening will become less cumbersome and more enjoyable because of Mist'r Rain. Highly recommend!

I called them to trouble shoot the problem but they could not help me and would not come out to look at my system. Apparently they do not do any service calls in Seattle any more. It seems to me that they should do a better job of customer service, especially for former customers. Instead of showing up as scheduled, I often had to contact them to remind them to come. Eventually, they simply stopped showing up altogether. Even more frustrating, they stopped responding to phone calls and text messages. There was no communication or explanation, making it impossible to know whether they intended to continue servicing my property. To make up for their lack of responsiveness, they offered to power wash my property as a goodwill gesture. Unfortunately, they never followed through on that promise either. Reliability and communication are essential when hiring a landscaping company. In my experience, Imperial Gardens failed on both counts.

We had never received the original invoice, so we had no idea there was an outstanding balance. We promptly mailed payment for both the current invoice and the older invoice, but the checks went uncashed for almost a month. Then a new bill arrived stating that we had not paid and adding additional fees. I emailed the company with the check numbers, dates mailed, and my concerns. The checks were finally deposited that same day, but I never received any acknowledgment or response to my email. Mistakes happen, but good customer service includes communication and running an efficient back office. I would have appreciated a simple explanation or apology. Unfortunately, this experience has caused me to look for another irrigation company.
