Cascade Cab Company made my trip to Phoenix so much smoother. The first cab showed up a bit earlier than anticipated at my house, and the driver helped me with my luggage both at the house and at the shuttle stop. On the return trip, the second driver was very helpful (and patient while I got out of the airport shuttle), and I had a nice time conversing with him on the ride home. read more

Called and the dispatcher said he only had two drivers and it would be a while. Hopefully Uber/Lyft will be back soon. Had to go with Oregon Taxi which was not much better. I can not recommend this company. read more

Cascade Cab was the first in line at the airport so I went with them. I am very glad I did. The driver was courteous and knew the city. I got to my destination safely and in good time. I asked the driver for a card to give them a call for my early AM return to the airport. I called Hybrid taxi but they were not able to take any rides during the 5AM hour and wanted me to go 2 hours early. I texted Cascade and asked for a 5:30AM pickup. They said no problem and inquired how my sick Mom was doing. The driver was there at exactly 5:30, loaded my belongings into the cab and got me to the airport with no delays. Excellent in all ways. I reserved a cab early Wednesday morning for a drive to a surgery center at around noon. My driver was early. The company sent me a cheerful message advising that my car was early, but to take my time. They would stay busy and wait - no problem. Impressive! The driver was a courteous, pleasant, and knowledgeable conversationalist. What a great ride. I was delivered ahead of schedule for smaller fee than I expected. He offered to pick me up post-surgery, but I had a family member available to drive me home. Honest, reliable, professional, reasonable - what more could you ask? I was running extremely late to catch a flight back to San Francisco during the evening rush hour. Used to the plethora of cabs and ride share options in The City, I hadn't even considered that getting a last minute ride to the airport could be an issue. The first cab company I called couldn't get a taxi to me for an hour. Cascade was my second call. I was first quoted a 45 minute wait. I then told the dispatcher my predicament. He said he'd see what he could do...and then gave me a 30 minute wait. An astonishing 15 minutes (!!!!!) later, Rich arrived ready to rush me to the airport as quickly as possible. I'm amazed at how Rich and the dispatcher came together and took my urgency as their own. I am so grateful for their Oregonian nature that is missing from the Bay Area. Driver was at my home early, and it had a clean car for the short drive to the Eugene airport.

I made reservation a week ago and followed up multiple times because I know NYE is crazy. The driver told me I was nasty and said they weren't coming for us. Not a great experience. read more

Update: I had a bad experience this morning and owner reached out to me and apologized stating there is a zero tolerance policy for the below described behavior. The owner has also offered to make sure I get my cats to their vet appointments free of charge. Previous posting: I called 2.5 hours ahead of when I needed a ride to take my cat to the vet. Scheduled pick up for 11:45am. At 11:55am, I called to check in with the driver. He apologized and said he was running late and would be there in 10 minutes. At 12:18pm he still wasn't there and I called twice and left 2 messages. At 12:26pm I had to call and cancel the appointment with the vet because they close at 12:30pm on Saturdays. At 12:30 the driver called and asked if I needed I ride. I told him that I had to cancel my appointment because the business was now closed. He said he was sorry and then hung up on me! This really messed up my plans, as this was the only day the vet was open on my day off. I understand that people make mistakes, but I feel the company and the driver could have handled this situation in a much better way (like communication and integrity of follow through). read more

NO SHOW! I ordered a cab for 4:30 am to take me to the airport for a 6 am flight. It never turned up. No one answered when I called. After 15 minutes, I tried calling other companies but none could come. At 4:55 I decided to drive myself. Pulled out of my driveway at 5 am--the Cascade cab still hadn't showed. read more

Called this company on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving 2018 to arrange a ride for my student from U of O to the airport for a 6am flight on Thanksgiving day. I spoke with Roger who was easy going and helped with suggesting a pick up time of 4 am. He was on time in the wee hours and got him to the airport without a hitch. He confirmed with me via text that he had received all of the info (son's cell) he needed. Highly recommend this company and will use again. read more

The owner Gary has extensive knowledge of the Eugene Springfield area and always takes the best route so the customer is not paying more than they need to. I was almost in a panic when I thought I had dropped the ball and wasn't going to be able to get my brother a ride to the Eugene airport. Luckily my cab prayers were answered and Cascade Cab Company came to the rescue! I called a few times and hit their answering machine saying they had a high call volume which at 11pm on a Friday night I could understand. I was surprised though when they called me back and told me they were available that next morning for a 4:45am pickup. All the other companies I had called were totally booked and I didn't even dare call the 1 star companies with the horror stories written about people missing their flights and waking their loved ones from their deep slumbers to tell them they needed a ride to the airport. Cascade Cab came right on time and my brother was not only to the airport with plenty of time to spare but the cab driver was super friendly on the phone and in person. We were very grateful that an enterprising Cascade driver came back to the airport after delivering one fare from our late, late flight. The taxi that had been reserved for us with another agency apparently didn't find out about the delay, or just decided not to wait. By the time we got our luggage, all taxis had left and the agency we called first said it would be an hour before they could get anyone there, plus they wanted to charge our credit card $25. before they would dispatch anyone. My son wasn't answering his phone & we were beginning to think we'd be sleeping in baggage claim. I chanced to look outside where the lone vehicle in the rain was that Cascade Cab. Steve was the BEST! I've taken quite a lot of cabs but never had such a pleasant experience (even with Uber, whose drivers need good reviews for business). My train got in early, but he was already waiting - super friendly and professional, safe driver. After an odd and confusing circumstance involving another person at the station, which had absolutely nothing to do with him, he comped my ride! I just couldn't believe his kindness.
