I guess the data base hasn't caught up with the new location in Conway, this is a review of that establishment: Tried out the new Casamigos in Conway tonight, not impressed. I had the carne asada with "two rib eye steaks". Also got a house margarita, only 7.99 was a real bargain, even though it was premixed. It didn't have that sour mix aftertaste that most house margs do. I couldn't request a doneness, because "they are really thin". The 2 steaks were about 1/8 of an inch thick and almost tough enough to repair a shoe. The beans were mostly liquid, there was a very small portion of rice and a surprisingly generous amount of guacamole on the chopped salad greens, 3 warm tortillas. I wrapped the steaks in the tortillas with the guac and greens, and asked for some hot sauce. It was in a ramekin, nothing to write home about. At the end of the night, I got my bill, the first total showed 30.44, the credit card slip showed 32.69. I asked why the discrepancy, she said the first bill didn't reflect the hot sauce, "it's homemade". I have eaten in a LOT of Mexican restaurants, never got an upcharge for hot sauce. Won't be rushing back, had hoped for an upgrade from the previous restaurant there, wishful thinking I guess. read more

Some of the most flavorful food I've ever had! Everything we had was extremely well-seasoned, including the rice and beans, meat, and all of the sauces. The restaurant was busy on a Sunday around 2 PM. We were seated promptly and our server took our order within a couple minutes of being seated. The margarita was served quickly and the chips and salsa was not far behind. After our abysmal experience at Onions across the street, the quick service was a pleasant surprise. I grew up between SoCal and the southwest so I'm picky about Mexican food. This was pretty solid for East Coast fare. I use the East Coast qualifier because, let's be real - the Mexican food here isn't in the same realm as West Coast Mexican food. The salsa is fine. Nothing amazing, but definitely better than what one would find at most Mexican places. The house marg was great and also on happy hour pricing. I'd come back for the margs alone. The entrees were good. The red sauce on the burrito was better than the green. The chimichanga menu description says shredded chicken or beef so I expected shredded beef, but got ground which was disappointing. It seems like they boil their beef to cook it which is fine, but I prefer it fried. There was something weird in the guacamole - it was like a rock of some sort. Not sure what it was nor why it was in there. Kind of creepy, but I just didn't eat the guac. We didn't try dessert but the menu had some good sounding offerings. Staying at a nearby Airbnb we decided to use Yelp to check out the local fare. Many restaurants are doing indoor seating, but we opted for takeout. The food was super fresh and flavorful. The portions are generous. I had the chicken chimichanga dinner, and my parter had the chicken fajita dinner. Each came with chips and salsa and toppings (guacamole, sour cream, tomatoes and shredded lettuce in a separate box, which was a really nice touch!) we added a side of guacamole which came in a small recyclable covered bowl. My only criticism would be the box that the toppings came in was non recyclable styrofoam. All the other packaging is recyclable. Placing the order was painless. The gentleman answering the phone was incredibly friendly. The wait time for pickup was brisk! (10 minutes!) we had actually attempted to place an order the night before (a Friday night around 6pm) and the line never rang though. (But it was great. Even after a recommendation I honestly was apprehensive about coming here; but I was pleasant surprised in the quality of the food I received. The basic salsa is nothing to write home about- but the jalapeño infused margarita and flavorful main dish were very tasty indeed. I ordered the Chile Colorado substituting their Charro beans for the standard refried... add a side of their "salsa picante" habanero salsa and it was on. The subtle taste of the red Chile sauce mixed with the tender steak- awesome. And the charro beans- not every place you can get the mix of spices (including everyone's favorite spice-bacon) in all its goodness complemented nicely with a topping of sweet and spicy habanero on top (available upon request). Impressive food, service, and cleanliness! My family and I enjoyed this establishment on a Thursday night. We were sat immediately, distance from other guests. Fresh salsa and chips for served as we waited and they were patient as we made our decisions. My husband and I had nachos, I had the nacho supreme and he had the fajita Nachos. Both were excellent and had very fresh ingredients. The cheese on the nacho supreme was delicious. My son had a kids meal Taco and burrito combo that he really enjoyed. It was an exceptional value for five dollars! Our entire meal including a beer and soft drinks was $40 and we felt really good about that since that's about what we pay at Panera and some sub shops without a service. Bathrooms and the area are clean. We didn't see accessible parking nearby or a break in the sidewalk (we didn't look beyond the immediate area), it was one bump over the sidewalk ledge to get to a flat surface. Made a quick lunch stop here on our way up to the White Mountains and to be honest, we weren't really in the mood for Mexican but it was slim pickings in Tilton on Labor Day weekend. Luckily, Casamigos came to the rescue! Surprisingly, their menu read like a book - so many options. Definitely something for everyone. Later we realized the food was pretty dang authentic as well. We both decided to go for the fajitas - mine with all seafood and his with all meat. Both were magnificent. The dishes were seasoned well and the portions were huge. Stopped by here for the first time and had a great time! We were sat right away and the service was very friendly. I got the mint watermelon margarita, which I loved, and my boyfriend got the house margarita and really enjoyed it. They used a flaky salt on the rims that tasted so much better than what bars usually used. I ended up getting the chimichanga with beef. It was crispy and delicious! We also had to ask our waiter numerous times for things that are so simple, chips, a new drink and we sat at the bar so all 3 servers saw us every time they came to make a drink or go to the kitchen. We've had significant issues finding decent Mexican food in New Hampshire since we moved here a decade ago from California. It's been less than successful. Until now. We are happy to say that Casamigos has tasty, authentic Mexican with reasonable prices, generous portions, and good service. In the heart of downtown Tilton, Casamigos has an extensive menu of Mexican favorites. We tried the Chorizo Nachos (absolutely delicious), the Burrito Mexicano (delicious as well, and big enough for two meals), and the Carnitas. Everything was very good. The salsa verde on the burrito was tangy. The salsa served with the complementary chips was fresh and had a nice amount of heat from the chiles, but not too much for the average person. They also have a full bar to enjoy with your meal. Given our lackluster experiences with New Hampshire Mexican restaurants, this made us SO very happy.
