What a delightful lunch. It's hard to find a Mexican restaurant up here in the northern part of New England. It's even harder when the restaurant is of such high quality. And rarest of all, staffed by Mexicans. A perfect culinary trifecta A step away from the beautiful Bristol center, with plenty of parking. Service is flawless. Our waiter was especially congenial as he is a veteran of the Mexican military and I am a U.S. Armed Forces veteran and was involved in diplomatic military affairs with Mexico and other Latin American countries, so we clicked. And besides, his demeanor was an example of what a service person should be. The ambiance was superb. People smiling and enjoying a gorgeous Fall afternoon. A bit too cool to enjoy the ample outside seating but inside was nice and cozy. The extensive menu has numerous selections. I had the Tacos Al Pastor and they were delicious. Lost our order, food not written down correctly, waited 40 minutes for a waiter to come to table to take order, then order never placed. Some in party never received food when the others did. Returning diner. Arrived at 5:30 p.m. on a Saturday. Choice of tables. Ordered beverages that arrived promptly. Nachos and salsa placed on table. Ordered a jicama salad and burrito. Asked several times about our order, after seeing others who arrived after us being served. Finally, after an hour and a half, dinner arrived. My salad lacked an ingredient mentioned on the menu. Server brought over the missing ingredient. By the time we ate, our drinks were watered down. No way was I guzzling down my drink before eating something substantial. I had high hopes for a great experience today, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. I went at 2:30p, and there were only a few customers there. I waited almost 10 min at the hostess stand for someone to even acknowledge me, and finally sat down. The server came by after another 10min with the menu, and after maybe two min he asked if I was ready to order. I was never offered water, and I watched another server come out of the kitchen and sit at a table near me with his Dunks coffee. However, a family came in that must have been "regulars", bc they were treated like royalty immediately. During my meal, there were multiple flies I had to constantly bat away from my food. Great food and drinks. The staff were all amazing. Very clean facility. Their calamari is a must try. We let an elderly patron try ours since she was on the fence and she ordered it for her table as well. It was a great place Ina cute downtown area. It provides in and outdoors seating. We all enjoyed our meals. I had the carne asada tacos with the corn tortilla option. You can opt for flour ones. I tasted the chorizo burger and it was awesome. Sorry we didn't get a pic of the calamari. It went very fast lol. The salsa tasted great, the food is all great and the drinks are amazing. Definitely try the spiked horchata! Authentic. Efficient. Flavorful. Cielito is a small space off the beaten path with great service and affordable food. It's also, hands down, the best Mexican restaurant north of Concord. Mole poblano is the perfect Belen's of sweet and rich, a digestible chocolate party for your mouth. Drinks are under $10 each and served up fast. Guacamole served up table side and for a reasonable $11 for an ample size you'd pay easily $15 or more farther south. Interior ambiance is lively but not overwhelming. Traffic busy, but not overbearing. Service friendly, but not overwhelming. All in all a great dining experience, for those liking to take a road less traveled for a great meal. read more

I loved its flavor and I was truly satisfied A friend of mine ordered extra green peppers and we got charged extra $ 2 for them without first letting us know that it would be extra charges for them. They should have let us known ahead of time that there would be extra charges involved. We let the server know This place was very generous for the chips and sauces. This place is small and off the beaten path but a great find. We came in as a party of 2 around 7:30 on a Saturday, we were quoted 10mins wait, but it was closer to 30mins. It's small, and a local crowd people didn't seem to be in a rush to wrap up their evenings despite people waiting for tables. The tables are all high tops. Tough if you have a disability and cannot get up on the seats. Not sure if they have other accommodations, if this affects you, I'd call and ask. The food was good. Table side guacamole was plentiful. To me it needed salt and didn't need the tomatoes and as much lime.. but it was still decent. Chips are served warm. Taquito appetizer was my favorite that we ordered. So delicious. I also got the carne asada which was cooked perfectly. Check it out if you're in the area! read more

I should have taken a picture but I was too hungry. My former company has an office right next to this place. I'd tried their food before and was ok with the quality. This is New Hampshire and is not known for quality Mexican food. But my last meal there was atrocious. I ordered the Diablo shrimp: the only meal with two chili's next to it, Indicating very spicy. I got around 9 Shrimp in a lukewarm habanero sauce. Spicy? Barely. Small sad lump of Spanish rice next to it. No beans. They don't make their own chips which is shocking for a place claiming to be Mexican food. They gave me a bag of incredibly stale corn chips. Not even edible. This dish was $20 after taxes. I've had many apps, table side guacamole, numerous entrees and they nailed every single one of them. They also remembered me each time I've been back which I appreciated. The drinks are cold, made fresh and place is spotless. The service has been great each time, at the bar a few times and at a high top the others. Look if it's the summer and you have to wait, I'm telling its absofuckinglutely worth doing so. Yes there's 2 other good places in the lakes region but this one is a step above each of them. Decided to stop by for dinner while in the area on a trip for a few days as it was close by and had later hours. A last minute decision and choice turned out to be well made. Staff were friendly and checked in to make sure I had everything I needed. I spoke to and had a conversation with Pedro, who if I remember correctly, is the manager. His smile never left his face and his positive energy was contagious. He gave me recommendations for food and drinks that I ended up enjoying. In the middle of nowhere in NH, sits this AMAZING restaurant! Quite honestly, some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. Their salsa was absolutely fresh and delicious, as where their chips. We got the calamari for an appetizer, and man, was that good! My boyfriend had a shrimp burrito, and it was HUGE & flavorful. I got the shrimp fajitas, which were amazing! It came with rice & beans, which were absolutely delish! We both had their red sangria- I wish I had their recipe... it was SO good! Both the dining room and the bathroom were nice and clean, which makes me a very happy woman! The staff were very friendly, and the decor of the bathroom was absolutely adorable. If I had anything negative to say about this place, it would be that the woman working there was cutting up fresh fruit without wearing gloves- no bueno! My fiancé took me here for my birthday dinner... we sat down and quickly changed our minds. The dealt with the same guy the enter time and he had an attitude right from the start when he sat us down. He couldn't have acted any more annoyed to be there. He took the table setting and left us with one... there were two of us. He frustratedly asked us for our drink order, we ordered palomas, a very traditional Mexican drink. He brought back the nastiest mix of tequila and sour mix... there is no sour mix in a paloma. It was terrible. Then didn't even bother to ask if they were ok (waiting 101). My fiancé told him it was my birthday, he proceeded to to ignore his comment and say he didn't even know what day it was. Stated that it was busy 'so good luck and have fun eating your shit-sandwich'. When my fiancé asked for the check, he didn't even bother to ask what happened or why we were leaving, again waiting 101. We paid for our bill and left. In hindsight we shouldn't have paid for those atrocious drinks and joke of service. 0/10, do not recommend. read more

The absolute BEST chicken taquitos and Mexican food. These taquitos were cooked to perfection, light, and FULL of flavor. We almost wanted to order more for dessert they were so good!
