Walkway to get to restaurant if you're coming from the parking structure on 1st. Restaurant is on your right.

Came on a Saturday morning for brunch. First, I'll say what a pleasant surprise it was to find this here. Very nice restaurant that I didn't know existed because of its somewhat hidden location. It's off Indian Hill in Claremont, there's plenty of public parking in the structure off 1st street during this time so that was good. I was a little late attending the brunch so I had to figure things out on my own. No one really there to explain where to get foods and drinks but my fault, I was late. I decided to do the bottomless mimosas, probably shouldn't have because I only got one glass although I was there for a couple of hours. It seemed like they were getting ready for the graduation lunch rush and were more focused on that rather than those of us there. They did do a good job of cleaning the table of plates though which was nice because we were a bit tight on space. The important thing here is that the food was really good at a great price. I was impressed with the enchiladas, the omelette bar and the taco bar (which I didn't eat any of). They had lots of good options on the buffet, and if I was hungrier, I definitely would have tried more. That which I did taste was excellent. I really want to down grade them for not providing more "bottomless" drinks but I could have been more assertive since I was paying $10 more for it. I did enjoy the spot, beautiful location and the food was great so I'll keep them at a 5.

When it comes to mexican food, I have very high standards as I grew up in Mexico, let me tell you. This is one of the few places that I am gonna tell you that they have authentic mexican flavor not american butched wannabe Mexican food ,, THIS IS THE REAL DEAL !!! nice flavor this is that authentic flavor from México, they have a setup for omelets station tacos, main dishes, fruit water dessert. I recommend please place , if you are looking for a real authentic Mexican food, this is your place. You don't have to look any other place. I want to see this may become my most favorite. And I am driving more than 30 miles to have breakfast at this place. guys will not regret. I will post pictures soon.I was so excited about the place that I forgot to take pictures!!! I PERSONALLY GAVE MY COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF. WHICH HE HAPPENS TO BE THAT HE IS FROM TEPIC NAYARIT, not too far from my hometown. And made him our compliment. And we are aware that his food was amazing. Don't forget, I give a compliment to the chef. When you go and visit Casa Maguey, let them know My review sent you !!!

Food is tasty and very spicy!!! I had the buffet. A variety of meats are served during the buffet are bubbling in giant 20 inch cast iron pans. I got the Verde pork simmered in a giant cast iron pan. The meat is tender and full of spicy goodness. It's sauce is really good. The cilantro dressing on their green salad is fabulous!! Can we buy that by the bottle!!!?? (Seriously) I loved the red enchilada! Cheesy saucy yum! The chicken tamale was good I loved the meat inside it. The masa was thick and heavy. Overall I appreciated the warm friendly service . Let's remember I am a parapalegic in a big electric wheelchair. When.zi first entered the little fenced courtyard It felt like Some of the Wait staff was not sure what to do w a lady in a wheelchair. I parked myself at a table moving chairs as I do (A common issue in alot of places) There are some obstacles in the buffet area the salad bar is behind a building post that my chair could not maneuver. The manager was more than willing to assist me and he made me a good little salad. I appreciated the ADA responsiveness once they realized I was there to eat Sunday buffet Overall I give this restaurant a 5 star review! I will be back!!!! The GM made sure I had what I needed. Overall I think the ambiance is cheerful fun and warm.

I went to Casa Maguey in Claremont for brunch on January 11, 2026, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. We arrived around 10:30 a.m., and the restaurant was fairly empty, which made for a calm and relaxed atmosphere. We were seated right away and immediately offered bottomless mimosas. Refills were a little slow at first, but once things picked up, they were nonstop. The woman who kept our glasses full was absolutely amazing she truly made our visit top-tier with her attentiveness and great energy. Only negative which is not entirely a negative is that I kept asking for water and never would get any. Once we finally received water, getting a refill was difficult. We never got a refill on our waters. The food was authentic, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The prices are very reasonable for the quality you get -- not overpriced at all, just great value for incredible food. Overall, a fantastic brunch spot with great service, amazing food, and a fun, relaxed vibe. I'll definitely be back.

We came in for a late lunch, since there was nobody at the front desk so we just went to the bar to find some seats. This Mexican restaurant is very cozy and spacious. The menus were big on both drinks and food. We decided on chicken soup, Caesar salad with shrimps, chicken nachos and three tacos combo. The food was very delicious in large portions. The shrimp Caesar salad was really good. Hubby enjoyed his meat tacos too. The service was slow at first but it picked up late on. Our bartender was very friendly. A solid Mexican restaurant and bar. We would like to come back for brunch buffet sometime!

From the first time I planned my cousin's 40th birthday brunch with 20 guests in Nov 2023 to my own birthday brunch and countless other family gatherings to Christmas Day Brunch 2025 the chicken pozole brings me in but the great selection of menu items available for brunch keeps coming back for seconds. The staff is always attentive, gracious and swift. Sunday brunch and Christmas brunch include mimosas and the brunch items are always refreshed resulting in fresh items at every visit. My go to brunch faire include the pineapples, cheese enchiladas, salmon, Spanish rice, omelets, home made tortillas and of course the star of the brunch the chicken pizole - lots of fixings from tortilla strips to salsa to red onion / cilantro and more.

Vanessa was amazing at the bar !! Great place for food and drinks before a show at Laemmle theater. The food is tasty and the beers are cold. There is lots of outside seating. Inside they have tables and booths, plus a long bar if you want to catch a game. Also a place to go while the wife is shopping. Brunch is amazing and includes all you can drink mimosas.

Loved it! Came on April 4 with my huge Mexican family to celebrate my gmas bday. (16) of us and they serviced us so well. Had us all seated and accommodated additional chairs for the littles kids. The brunch was fabulous! Great variety and selections in hot foods and soups. Desserts were plentiful and loved that they offered a taquero outside making fresh tortillas and omelets. Definitely will be back again! Appreciate that they even let my great uncle play his guitar to my gma and sing to her in Spanish and the workers even joined in. That made us feel very welcomed. I'm bringing my mom Back for Mother's Day :)

So we came here for brunch to celebrate one of my good friend's birthdays. We have been here before and she picked this place because the food is so yummy. This time though, the customer service was emasculate! We were served by this attentive awesome server by the name of Yadira. Honestly, I have never received this type of customer service ever in my life and I work for LA County with the public. Mind you I've been praised for my customer service before! Next time we come for brunch we will be requesting to sit in Yadira's area for sure! Yadira you're awesome, thank you again for everything!

Nice advertisement, would be nicer to see a price for any of this. Or a where on their establishment.

FYI This is an Easter buffet review. No idea how they are outside this day. Waited about 20 min before we sat down. We were told its buffet day and saw the 15.99 Mon-Fri price and didn't think it was much more than double that price on a Sunday. The company I came with liked their normal menu food, so we decided to stay. Most of the food was just ok, not great. Birria was good, but came back for more and the new batch was terrible and gamey. Plantains tasted bad. The Jamaica and cucumber spinach juices were not great, and mostly watery with little flavor. The deserts were good and pancakes too. The staff were nice and took care of our water and plates fairly expediently. We did not expect that to be over 50 dollars per person. To make sure we didn't complain for no reason. We looked back where they posted their Buffett and there's nothing indicating 50+ dollars for mediocre food. Just the 15.99 and this flyer advertising the Sunday Buffett and that had no price on it. We felt very misled and let them know, and to their credit, understood the situation and gave us a discount. That said- "Ok" food shouldn't cost a tank of gas, and if so then they should post that jump in price anywhere on their restaurant.

They've got indoor and outdoor seating and they seemed a touch understaffed for being a beautiful day. It was also a Tuesday lunchtime so maybe they weren't expecting it to be as busy as it was. We were able to prove the menu before we got seated. And our super friendly server came out and we were able to order right away. They've got a lunch special. That is a small personal pizza with a salad and we each got that. Salads came out first and I had the arugula salad, which was absolutely phenomenal. 10 of 10 would eat this every single day. The arugula was peppery and it was well dressed in a lemon vinaigrette type sauce. I am a fan of just plain lemon on mine, but this was delicious. My husband got a union salad, which is their specialty I guess. It's got colored carrots and some beets and some shallots. I thought the dressing was bland and it certainly needed salt and pepper. We asked for both and didn't get either. Our pieces came out and they were nice and woodfired. I feel like they could've been done just a little bit longer maybe a minute or two. The sauce was a lovely fresh type crushed tomato sauce. The cheese was nice and gooey and did not feel or taste like a package of processed cheese. Pepperonis were greasy, but in a real meat kind of way. I had to dab mine, but my husband just went to town on his. The pickled peppers is a pickled jalapeño. Big chunks of them. They certainly didn't skimp on any of the toppings. They were a little sweet and a little hot. Some of the big chunks were a little too sweet for my liking but overall, it was a nice flavor mix Also from a size standpoint, I thought the salad and pizza were very adequate for lunch at around $20 price point I asked for salt and pepper again as well as a side of ranch. This time we did get the salt and pepper as well as cheese and crushed red pepper. But we didn't get the ranch until we were leaving. The server did apologize and said he thought someone else was bringing it out but I pretty much deducted a star because we asked for a couple different things that never came. Overall, the service was super friendly, the ambience was nice for an outdoor lunch thought. I thought the menu looked delicious and there were several things I would like to come back and try and I would go back again.

It was so underwhelming. 2 eggs cooked differently, one over hard, one over easy, 5-6 potato pieces and the steak was thin, overcooked, and appeared to be a cheap cut of meat. A New York cut would have been great. Wife mentioned norms has better steak and eggs. Unfortunately, there were a few disappointments during dinner. We ordered the crab cakes and were told they were unavailable. We then ordered lamb chops, which were also unavailable. Thankfully, the food we did receive was amazing and we were still enjoying our evening while waiting for birthday dessert. What completely changed the experience was when the manager, Destiny, approached our table and told us we needed to move to accommodate another party. We explained that we also had a reservation, were still eating, and were waiting on dessert. Instead of handling the situation professionally, her approach came off with an attitude and as though we were an inconvenience for not wanting to move in the middle of our meal. As a manager, professionalism and customer service matter, especially when guests are celebrating special occasions. Better reservation management could have prevented this situation entirely. Even other guests nearby seemed shocked by what was happening. Roger ended up apologizing on her behalf, even though he was not the issue. He truly did his best to save the experience, while the manager never came back to apologize herself. The food and our waiter were excellent, but the management experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

Super fun place! Very entertaining, loud but a good vibe overall. Located in the city of Claremont,…read morePiano Piano is a dueling piano bar located right next to the Double Tree Hotel. There's plenty of parking so I don't think it would be a struggle no matter time of night. The place itself is your average Joe bar. Plenty of seating both tables and booths. They are 21+ up only! They also are reservation priority! Service was great! Our server Jared was very attentive to our party. Constantly checking on us, making sure we had everything we needed. He made sure our glasses weren't empty. He did a great job. Entertainment was awesome! The piano players are super talented, funny and lively. They had great stage presence! I really enjoyed it! Food was average bar food, but let's be real, they're not known for their food. We had the cheddar bacon curly fries and they're the type of food you want once you start drinking alcohol. So really, this place is doing its job. The food wasn't top tier but it definitely caters to crowds need. If you love a loud environment, good music, and dancing this is the place for you. Be prepared for some dark humor. But be prepared to have fun. They honor all different types of celebrations. I would definitely say check this place out and give it a shot! Tons of fun!

This place is so much fun--definitely a "the more, the merrier" kind of spot! I honestly wish…read morethey'd expand and bring a location to Orange County or even LA County... Anaheim or Fullerton would be amazing. We drove in from Orange County and ate beforehand since we weren't sure how the food situation worked with our 9:30 reservation. Turns out, they actually do have a solid food menu, but no regrets--this place is all about the experience. When we walked in, the energy was already through the roof. People were vibing, singing along, and just in great moods all around. The setup is awesome--kind of like a neon-lit bar with two pianos facing each other center stage and a drummer in the middle. And let me just say, that drummer was an absolute beast. While the pianists rotated in and out, he held it down the entire time without missing a beat. Service did take a little while to get started--we waited about 15-20 minutes before anyone came by--but once they did, everything picked up and stayed consistent. The staff kept checking in and made sure we were taken care of. One thing that really stood out to me (especially coming from a hospitality background) was how they handled a situation where someone in the front row got sick. It could've easily ruined the vibe, but the staff jumped in immediately, cleaned everything thoroughly, replaced the table, and sanitized the area quickly and professionally. Super impressive. Overall, I had such a great time and would absolutely go back. Huge shoutout to the pianists--they were incredibly entertaining--and major props again to that drummer. Now if the owner could bring this concept to Orange County... that would be next level!
