Good spot to grab a beer and catch a game. Loved their indoor/outdoor seating. Gotta come back and try their food.

I came here for the second time for happy hour and was disappointed. The veggie wrap has like bagged lettuce in it which really ruins the whole veggie wrap experience. You go from tasting warm cooked veggies to a cold plastic tasting entire bite of lettuce...not fun. Should have stuck with the veggie bowl from last time that was decent. Our waitress forgot nearly everything we asked of her and we were stuck at our table way longer than we were trying to be for a happy hour outing.

Even though it was raining hard and hailing when our group of six had lunch yesterday, we had a wonderful time at Fourth Street Mill! We ate at one of the high tables outside, and appreciated that we could do that in Los Angeles in November despite the weather. We started off with fries and fried green beans. Both were excellent! Everyone enjoyed their food, and in particular, my sister-in-law really liked her Brussels sprouts salad with salmon on top and I really liked my vegetarian burger. I had never been to downtown La Verne, but I look forward to returning.

Really Great service here in this quaint joint. Waitress was friendly, competent, attentive. Food was fine but a touch over priced and portions were not very big. Calamari AP $11 and small. Looked hand battered and it was light and crispy Bacon wrapped shrimp $14 for 5 and they're not very big. Love the chili sauce on top Tuna salad was yummy and they made me a plain sandwich. I wish there was more for on it! Good flavor. But for $15 a side would be appreciated. Sides of fries would set you back $9!!!! Same for the French dip- served in a buttery lobster roll. Flavorful but came with a "salad" which was literally 4 pieces of lettuce. Overall the meal was good. I wouldn't drive out of my way for it but nothing was disappointing from a flavor standpoint.

3.5/5 overall. Nice welcoming vibe. Bar stools by the door decently comfortable. Two TVs by the bar but at least the volume is off. Decent cocktails (Manhattan and Berry Basil). My Veggie bowl was yummy and had good fresh vegetables that weren't over cooked. Apparently, the tuna melt and burger my family ordered were bland but satisfying. The side order shoestring fries were well cooked but lacked flavor. Staff were attentive, friendly, and efficient. A little pricy for the unremarkable food.

Cool little place with a hometown feeling. The atmosphere was a bit rugged, complimented with a circular outdoor fireplace . Quaint and friendly. Missing? Umm i would just say that it's a 3.75 to 3.99 score. The lack of a good food menu or a more inviting drink list was my bother..beyond that, a good place to hang out and just relax. Parking available all-over, and reasonable rates .

We were first introduced to one another by the previous owners, Mary and Jim, during one of their events--little did we know those introductions would grow into lifelong friendships. Over the years, our Wednesday Wine Nights became a tradition we all cherished. When we learned that the shop was going up for sale, we were understandably nervous. We wondered what would happen if it didn't sell--where would we go? And if it did sell, what if the new owners changed the shop in ways we didn't love? What if we didn't connect with them the way we had with Mary and Jim, who had become family to us? Then it happened, the shop sold. We were introduced to Maria and Veronica, and it was truly love at first meeting. They are two of the kindest, most welcoming women, and they have brought fresh ideas and wonderful energy to the shop. Our Wednesday Wine Nights continue today, and we are grateful to have gained new friends in Maria, Veronica, and their families, who help run this warm, family-operated business. The Third Street Wine Shop remains a place where you are welcomed the moment you walk in--where the owners make you feel like you're their only guests. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a tasting, a glass, or a bottle of exceptional wine, paired with one of their beautiful charcuterie boards or other delicious snacks. And for those who prefer beer, they offer a great selection of local craft options as well. We hope to see you there soon!

We sat outside right away. Service was a little slow even though they were not that busy when we got there. I think it was our server as the other servers responded quickly with orders and follow up. A friend I met many years ago at a wine tasting invited me to a Burgundy wine class at Packing House Wines, and I attended. The store is located up a few steps on the north side of the Claremont Packing House. Parking is usually not an issue as there is a big multi-level parking garage on the east side of the packing house. All attendees sat down to a list of wines to be tasted, a printed out copy of the slides being presented, a big burgundy wine glass for pours, water, and a nice little charcuterie plate. The owner Sal gave the presentation, and it was easily the best wine class I have ever attended. He talks pretty fast, but not too fast, and his delivery was excellent, providing an extensive amount of information that was easy to understand. We pretty much learned everything about Burgundy wines from the history of the region, the stringent production laws, different classes of Burgundy wines, and details about all of the different producers and regions we tasted wines from. The class was scheduled for two hours, but it ended up lasting for two and a half hours. It would have been easy to stay for much longer as the class and wines were very enjoyable. The wine class was a little pricey at $125 per person, but this was a bargain as Burgundy wines are expensive. We were able to taste ten 1.5 ounce pours including several Premier Cru and Grand Cru wines (one of them was $350/bottle). My favorites were the '17 Albert Bichot Fixin ($53.99) and the '20 Domaine Lecheneaut Vosne Romanee ($124.99) which I purchased. They have wine classes regularly, and I will definitely return if one catches my eye. They have quite a selection of wines for sale, as well as tasting flights and food from their kitchen.

We sat outside and the ambiance (both inside and outside) were nice. The outside was definitely a lot quieter than inside, and the server next to us even offered to turn on the heaters (though not needed). I enjoyed being outside. We started off with appetizers which included grilled octopus and oysters. Although, even though they were on ice, the oysters weren't cold enough for me. Still, we downed them with the fresh horseradish and cocktail sauce and just prayed about it later lol. My family liked the grill octopus. It was tender and had a very smokey char flavor but if I'm being honest, it was not MY favorite so I probably would not personally order again. Even my mom said she thought it was "just alright." I ordered the Branzino and it lacked in flavor. I was not a fan of the green sauce it had on the side. It was not completely terrible, but not great either. It was cooked well and crispy, but that's all I can say for it as even Tabasco didn't make it great. The best thing of the night was probably the lamb chops and the cheese ravioli. They were both cooked well & tasted great so if I were to come back Id stick to pasta and that. The lychee mocktails & their ricotta cheesecake were probably my favorite things on the menu. The tart was decent. Our waiter was slow at times and kept either forgetting certain drinks or what we asked of him or the kitchen was just slower than usual. I'm not sure which, but service wasn't on par with the price point in my opinion. Luckily we were pretty relaxed, but my mom had finished her food by the time her wine arrived. Overall, it was an ok night. My family at least had fun and enjoyed their time there. The food was presented nicely, and service was OK as a whole but I'm not sure I'd come back on my own accord again. Definitely nice to say I've visited & tried it out at least once though!
