It's been on my dine at list for a while now. It's located at the Route 66 Promenade shopping center on Foothill Blvd and Lone Hill Ave in Glendora. Finding parking was easy. They weren't super busy. I was greeted upon entry. Got seated right away. Ambiance was quaint and romantic with lovely art on the wall. I only wanted tacos so went straight to the Taco Tuesday section of the menu. Btw, colorful menu with good selections. Three tacos for $6.99. Fish tacos baja-style was $3.99 each. I was down for all of them. Got a set of three tacos... one carnitas, one shredded chicken, and one grilled veggies plus 3 fish tacos. Yes, it was 6 pack for me. Lady staff was friendly, nice, and hospitable. Thank you ladies! All tacos were DELICIOUSLY AMAZING! Carnitas were flavorful. Shredded chicken was plentiful. Grilled veggies had great crunch... carrots were amazing! One small gripe, they were tiny tacos... wished they were bigger. Side of salsa for the tacos was perfect in taste... wished it was a full cup and not half. As for the fish tacos, superb at its best! Good size baja fish filet with fresh veggies drizzled with tasty chipotle sauce on a super thin and crispy tortilla. It was so good I had to order 5 more fish tacos to-go. You bet I did. I wanted my daughters to try them. I will return for more fish tacos if nothing else. Btw, guava agua frescas was not the greatest... it was tasteless guava to say the least. Highly recommend for Taco Tuesday visitors! Btw, Taco Tuesday orders do not come with complimentary chips and salsa which was surprising to me. How much are they saving with a handful of chips? Come on, hence, 4 stars!

Looks are deceiving from the outside. The decor is colorful and vibrant. It has a Ranch style/Western theme. The interior has seating along the windows, an open outdoor patio with tables/umbrellas. A separate banquet room is in the back, easy access from the rear parking lot for your private party. Here you can enjoy sports games on the TVs and drinks from the bar setup in this room. On July 18th, I was going to a picnic and came by to buy the tapas platter. There was beef empanadas in the order, no substitutions allowed, so I ordered ala carte instead. We had a Chicken Quesadilla (with sour cream and salsa), Shrimp Taquitos (with guacamole), and diced potatoes tossed in a mild red sauce and oven roasted Papas Bravado). I'm so glad, I live nearby so I can drop by for more of these Shrimp Taquitos and try other items from the menu. I ordered two shredded beef tacos with rice & beans absolutely zero flavor.! I requested my meal to be on a plate not multiple plates. Please serve on one plate. My husband ordered two double tacos. STORE bought TACO SHELL's REALLY!. with a flour tortilla slathered with beans to keep the shells together and an order of rice and beans. My husband said the tacos were good. My taco was so over FRIED! It was completely split down the middle and when I went to take a bite my taco crumbled into many pieces what a mess no flavor! Bland not enjoyable and the guacamole was in a tiny metal cup. You couldn't get the guacamole out and it was a mess. You don't serve food like this. It's not enjoyable you come for an entrée you want it on a plate not in a taco stand. I am a very neat eater and there wasn't anything neat about my tacos and guacamole.! They weren't served on a nice dinner plate either horrible presentation!!!!!!!!!! .! I wish we would have left when we read there was NO COMBO ENTRÉES ONLY TACOS, AND TAPAS! Horrible. We didn't get two orders of rice and beans like we ordered only one small order of rice and beans! Very disappointed with our meals!!. We were so disappointed with our meals we will not be back ever again !! what a joke and the two ladies next to us had to ask for a box twice . Our meal was so disappointing and so horrific that we took an evening stroll around the village. I wish my husband suggested we walk across the street to try the new restaurant MAMA CANELA. It was buzzing with patrons. When we walked by Mama Canela's there were combo plates. They had big plates with food on them and their guacamole is huge and everything looked delicious. Oh I wish we came here instead. I highly suggest going to mama Camila and not wasting your money at Raymond's tacos Y tapas. ZERO STARS.!!

I also don't appreciate the poor attitude that two of the bartenders have been displaying lately. They have favorites and it shows a lot. I understand that when it's time to close it's time to close and go. But if you're serving other people and treating those same people nicer because they're your favorites, well that's not cool. In the end we're all patrons. We all support when consuming. But above all, it's the poor attitude that I will never pay for. I used to like coming here often. I probably will never again. I also know that occasionally in the bar they overcharge for cocktails thinking customers will not notice because they've been drinking and bartenders refuse to adjust the check. This is terrible and now you know.

Wanted to try an "authentic" Mexican food restaurant near me. First time here & was very disappointed. Ordered a wet burrito which I've tried numerous times at so many other restaurants. The steak was very gummy & rubbery. Kind of gross. The guacamole was very watery. The burrito was sitting in what looked like soup. I get it's a wet burrito, but it shouldn't be "soupy." Asked the server for 2 waters & he brought 2 bottles of water from the fridge not telling us it was an extra charge. Water is usually included at restaurants. Or at least mention you only have bottled water & there's an extra charge for it. He was also cleaning when he wasn't serving people food & didn't seem to wash his hands in between. I was with someone else & they ordered a steak quesadilla & only ate half it. Didn't want to take the rest home. So, it wasn't only me. Did I mention it's overpriced as well? I had 2-3 bites of my food. Stood up, paid & walked out. Server was standing over me so I felt pressured to tip when I shouldn't have. All in all, next time I have a craving for Mexican food. I'd rather go to Del Taco before coming here again. You should too.
