Delicious authentic Mexican food! Super friendly service and definitely a great family owned business! Like most of the yelpers who have already reviewed this place, their Venus location is what brought us here. Loved their food there, but it's out of our way, plus there's almost nothing else going on in Venus to make it worth the drive, we were so stoked to find out they have opened a second location in Mansfield! This one is smaller than their first location, also has no bakery (hopefully this will change soon), but it's brighter and just as nice inside. They have about 6-8 tables. When you first walk in, you'd get a friendly greeting and shown to your table with menu. You actually order/pay at the counter, then go back to your table and wait for them to bring the food out to you. Everything we have tried here has been good to great. However, I think I'm going to stick to the chili relleno with fajita steak. It's the best one I have had yet. You can really taste the fried egg from the batter. The green sauce has a nice kick to it and super tasty. For sure we'll be back soon. I just hope they start selling churros or sopapilla soon, my 2 favorite Mexican desserts lol. Food is great! They need to update their menu with their new pricing and the take aways. They have up charges now and it's not on the current menu. Customers should know ahead of time what their order costs and what it comes with. They charge more for certain meat and my order didn't come with what was on the current menu. I ordered a Quesdailla twice and got charged more for chicken and a time when I ordered steak and no Pico like it claims it comes with. Hence, why they need updated menus. read more

Congratulations Mansfield, you opened a restaurant that wasn't fried chicken! We stopped in here for lunch today. The line was relatively short but got significantly longer after we ate. You order over a counter here and it's very difficult to see what's on the menu as all of the menus are just scattered across the counter with a bunch of people in the way. There is no menu on the wall, so this leads to HUGE inefficiency. They need to make their menus more accessible or they are going to have problems with lines because people don't know what to order when they make it to the cashier. We ordered the chips and salsa. It arrived a few minutes after we ordered. The chips are those thick and really crunchy kind. The salsa is thin. The style reminds me a lot of what you would find in the Yucatan. We ordered the chicken enchiladas and the tacos al carbon (with chicken). Both were packed with a ton of flavor. I was pretty impressed honestly. The rice had a lot of flavor in it as well. Soft drinks here are served in cans. That's a bit annoying but I guess provides for more of an "authentic" experience. It doesn't look like they have alcohol. There is limited seating in this restaurant. Fire Marshall capacity is only 42, so I expect it could be challenging to get a seat at times. My issue with this type of restaurant is that it costs as much as any other sit-down restaurant but you have to wait in line. If I have to wait in line, it should cost less. read more

Went here on Sunday 5/17. Heard this restraunt was in the top 100 and wanted to give it a try since it's right in our backyard(Mansfield). 1. Enter the restraunt and get a table 2. One took your order at the desk and the other was the main cook. The first, also helped prepare and serve the meals. There was a good flow of people. West street with chips and salsa. Basket of chips and 2 types of salsa in 4 oz containers. I had the Chicken Nachos and my sponsor had the ground beef enchiladas. The enchiladas had a mix of meat and potatoes. Restaurant basics unfortunately were lacking: service, refills, and condiments. Enjoy your coffee because you get one cup. No refills. You pay for another cup if you want more. No hot sauce, no salsa offered with your meal which is odd when you are eating a Mexican breakfast. I had to go to the counter to ask for some after they brought out migas and chilaquiles and it seemed like I was inconveniencing her asking for hot sauce. Server never checked on us again once food put on table. I had to get napkins and a spoon for my one cup of coffee that got cold because no refills allowed. Food is average, chilaquiles had very little egg, migas not much flavor, homemade tortillas were good though. The prices are super affordable even though inflation is REAL right now. The food was so flavorful and HOT! Not lukewarm. Not cold. Hot! My new favorite Mansfield Mexican restaurant by far. It's really nice inside with plenty of tables. Our waitress brought us chips with two salsas that were delish and not to hot (I'm a tiny bit of a weakling for hot hot stuff). I ordered the combo fajita quesadillas and they were excellent! Huge servings come with guacamole, rice and beans. Beans are refried only and were not great but the rest more than made up for it. The quesadillas were too much to eat but I gave it my best because they were full of meat and melty cheese. To go tea was refilled often and great take away. I don't like leaving negative reviews but I think this is a good exception. I went to this restaurant on Wednesday morning around 8:45am to order some breakfast burritos since they open at 8am. The door was closed but there was a cook working in the kitchen. I nocked on the door multiple times and the guy saw me but he ignored me and kept working. I think this is unacceptable since their sign says they open on Wednesdays at at 8am. Sucks that I didn't get to try this place. Also, this place has no phone number!!! The BEST authentic Mexican food in Mansfield! I love their cafe de Lola no one in Mansfield offers it (Mexican Coffee) so delicious no need for cream or sugar it's just perfect! Breakfast/lunch/dinner you will not be disappointed EVERY plate is amazing. My husband loves the chilaquiles for breakfast with chorizo. Waited in line to order at the counter (paper menus available at the register) and then your food is brought to you. The owner/manager greets everyone standing in line with a smile and a hello. Chips and dips come straight away. You will wait a little bit for your entree, but it's worth it. And everything is made to order and you can watch the cooks cook. Love that too. The entree...OH. MY. GOSH. I had maybe my favorite cheese enchiladas ever. I asked for onions in them. And they tasted as if the cheese and the onions spent a minute on the flat top, so the cheese had nice golden touches. SO FREAKIN GOOD! I had mine with a white queso on top. I tried the street taco plate and my boyfriend ordered the chicken quesadilla plate. Let me just say, WOW. That chicken quesadilla was probably the best I've had outside of Puerto Vallarta! Actually my food was not brought to me I had to go search for it and it was just sitting under a heat lamp. Lord knows how long it was there. Ordered nachos and the street tacos. Nachos did not have cheese on them and tacos were so dry. Also ordered a Mexican coke and did not receive it. When I inquired about it they tried to tell me I didn't.
