I really never enjoy eating here. I had pizza. Pizza for goodness sake. It tasted like something the lunch lady would put together. The other pasta dishes were swimming in sauce. Waited 30 minutes for mediocre food that is over priced for this town. Update they did not charge me for the pizza and apologized. I found this place today only because the OTHER Italian restaurant in Paris, Tx stopped selling Italian sausage!!!! I ordered the Sausage Pizzaola and it was amazing!! It came with marinara sauce and while he suggested this dish, I told him I would prefer a dish with alfredo sauce. He very quickly said that we can make it with alfredo sauce. The attention to customers needs and wants are definitely on the top of the list of this restaurant. I also ordered the spinach dip and it was Melt-in-your-mouth outstanding. I have lived in a couple different areas of the country and when I moved to Paris, I was disappointed that there was no New York Style pizza places. I then discovered Casa Del Mare and my craving was satisfied. The crust and sauce are both great. The price is even better. I am used to paying $20+ for an XL NY style pizza. When I saw their prices I was pleasantly surprised. My family and I have eaten here many times, both in the restaurant and carry out. We have yet to be disappointed. I am always amazed that there are not more people eating there. I hope this place is here to stay! read more

First visit to this Italian cuisine establishment. Heard great reviews from family and friends. Unfortunately, we arrived 915pm as they stated they are open until 10pm on Friday night. Hostess turned out to be our waitress and she was attentive, well groomed and charming. I found the menu to contain some excellent items which has perfect descriptions for anyone who had a heritage appreciation for true Italian flavors and culinary skill set. The menu was a joy to study for your entree and side dishes. I applaud them for the contents and quality as each dish offered took talent to cook as many require a masterful blend of ingredients. As a party of three, each of us were presented with classic dishes cooked spot on. Portions, temperature and taste made us all very happy. Our waitress gave constant attention to our drink refills and even our salads tasted very fresh. The atmosphere was a pleasure to enjoy our meal listening to old school greats such as Brat Pack favorites. Being from New York City and New Jersey, this is the first place I have found in Paris, Texas that created an atmosphere of service, excellent food and music to dine with your people in a relaxed Italian Bistro. Tiniest side salad I've ever seen. Probably enough lettuce for one taco. Smothered in dressing, too. The bread they serve with dinner had no flavor. I wanted to try the Alfredo sauce on the side for my bread. I'm not a huge fan of garlic but there wasn't any taste to the sauce, either. I doctored it up with salt, pepper, and the shaker of Parmesan cheese on the table. Not a crushed red pepper shaker in sight. Half of the lettuce looked wilted. The cheese ravioli came out piping hot, so I was excited to try it. It had a bit more flavor than the Alfredo sauce - the marinara covering it was eh so so, and there was way too much cheese baked on top. I found out where the missing salt from the Alfredo sauce was hiding - the cheese filling was way too salty. And the more I ate if it (which wasn't much), the more I disliked the overall taste. It left a very weird aftertaste so I had to just cut my losses and move back to the bread. My most significant impression? No clue about balancing flavors OR seasoning. Oh yeah, teach your waitstaff to be friendly. Not going back next time I come through. Already up late with major indigestion. read more

Have eaten here a few times. The only reason I have gone back is because my co-workers wanted Italian for lunch. The food is pretty standard Italian food. Nothing special. Their dinner rolls are really good. On my second visit (for dinner) the waitress dumped an entire tray of drinks in my lap. Mistakes/accidents happen, I was not upset with her and laughed it off so to try and keep her from feeling too bad about it. The manager (or owner) was pretty ugly with her tho, to where customers could here it... "not cool bro". Then never so much as offered a discount or anything. read more

The ingredients are fresh, the facility is very clean, and the staff is friendly and very eager to please. So I saw the pictures saw the reviews and was excited to give it a chance... So when we first got there the host ask booth or table we told him, he didn't tell us to come on just started walking the options were very descriptive, which was a help for those that don't know an Italian menu.. well I got something that was pictured on the yelp site saying it was fabulous... well it wasn't AT All!!! I couldn't even eat it! It tasted like chef boyardee! Only thing that tasted fresh was the broccoli and I only I had one. The bread looks good but it's plain. Like sliced bread in roll form but harder. They give you salted butter On the table I guess that's supposed to help. My husband got chicken alfredo, you can def taste the heavy cream over the parmesan. No one ever ask us if we need a refill and def never came to our table . So I would not at all refer this place... even though they have a sticker on their door that says yelp loves us... must be the owners doing a lot of work in that matter. read more

What a great place. I was working in Paris a few weeks ago and stayed at the Comfort Suits. I asked about really good food around and of course the clerk said some chain places..... I do NOT do chains unless it is my ONLY choice. Lucky for me I decided to just walk to the convenient store a few buildings down to get a couple of things and bam... I saw a little banner sign. I walked in the door and instantly felt that this was going to be a good meal. Then was seated by a well dressed professional looking waiter and heard the wonderful soft old school music from the 40's. I looked over the menu but I had been craving lasagna so that is what I ordered. The bread was totally fresh with a great texture and taste. It was very hard to not get another basket of bread but I did get one more with the meal. I love great tasting food and let me tell you this was great food. I asked if they had given menu's to the hotels and they said they had but there was non at my hotel. I will eat here again and have already recommended it to several people there in Paris. They have not been open very long but hopefully the local people will choose a family owned business and this place will become a staple of Paris TX. read more

I went to Casa Del Mare for the first time and I really enjoyed it. The decor is what you would expect from a typical Italian restaurant, but it was nice and clean. I appreciated that it was pretty open and that the booths and tables weren't crammed together. Our server, Brenna, was very polite and helpful. The portions were large and at first I didn't think I could eat it all, but the food was so delicious that I finished it anyway. I will definitely be back.
