For a 2000Mx pesos meal for four people, this feels unfair, especially since rice and beans traditionally come with the dish. The tiny portions forced us to order more and pay extra. This is unfair for clientele that pays top dollar into a Mexican economy... off the flavor alone Don Luis has always been five stars. Other clients have warned us about this , and I don't like to see people being taken advantage of.

We usually ask to sit on the ocean view The moment you sit down, they welcome you with a warm, savory tortilla soup that feels like a hug inside your tummy! Honestly I could have sipped on that all day! But then the real star arrives... The lobster! It's deep fried in butter, it's so delicious that you feel like singing a love song with every bite! Now let's talk about the freshly made flour tortillas! They're soft, buttery and the taste is just perfect! I swear I could have eaten a whole stack of them on their own! NO SHAME! It also comes with two generous bowls of rice and refried beans!! A full feast of delicious flavors and aromas! Everything just works together like it was meant to be! This is definitely comfort food at its best! The conclusion: If you want delicious food, good vibes and a meal that will make your taste bud sing with delight! La Casa del Pescasor is the place! 10 out of 10 recommended!

My chicken fajitas were good not too spicy. Carne Asada tacos were a little too salty for my liking. Overall, it was a good experience. The prices were decent. I did like my Cadillac Margarita. I enjoy tequila from Mexico rather than from the US.. at the time, it was busy and it did get loud and there was a lot of our family with kids. The service was good.

My fellowship, a cluster of mere mortals with taste far keener than foresight, insisted we seek a place foretold in gustatory prophecy: La Cocedora de Langosta. I assented, though the sea had begun to speak again. A cruel trick of salt and memory. We arrived. The lobster was not served--it presented itself. Shell split like prophecy fulfilled, meat steaming with tales older than Atlantis. The ceviche? Lime and fire in perfect alchemy. It hissed in my mouth like the last words of a betrayed siren. A whole fish, fried until its soul ascended, left bones so clean they could be used in ritual. Angels wept; I salted accordingly. The risotto arrived next, not on a plate but in a chalice. Each bite stirred marrow and memory, comfort and command. My sea legs stood straighter. My resolve thickened. Libations flowed--freely, fervently, faultlessly. The chalice refilled itself (or perhaps the staff were trained in illusion and replenishment). Laughter, clinking glass, and something close to joy dared to rise. Staff were keen-eyed adepts, operating with the grace of trained familiars. The atmosphere carried hints of volcanic enchantment and citrus optimism. Barry the Brave Muffin Baker--my misguided nemesis-ally--might have found peace here. Or at least, a decent aioli. Verdict: A rare convergence of flesh, flavor, and fate. Five stars scorched upon the firmament by my hand. I may never return. But that's only because the enchantment forbade it.

This is the best lobster restaurant in Puerto Nuevo…read more The food is excellent. The lobster tastes fresh and is not overcooked. We ordered the large family tray, which feeds about 6 to 8 people. We also ordered additional lobsters to complement the platter, since it only comes with four lobsters cut in half. Their flour tortillas are some of the best. They are unlimited, along with rice and beans, and the servers keep them coming. The views are nice, and there is usually a parking attendant who helps you find parking nearby. The service is good, but be prepared to be pressured if you do not leave a generous tip. We left a 12% tip ($800 Pesos), which is standard in Mexico, and were still confronted. Keep in mind the standard daily wage in that area is around 300 pesos. The waiter told us we needed to leave 15 to 18 percent. We ended up leaving more only because the service was really good. Since I paid the bill and someone else in our group left the tip, they added more on top of what was already left. If it had been me, I would have taken the cash back and left NOTHING. This is way they get 4 stars and not 5! Tips are not obligatory. Servers receive wages, and they should be grateful for any additional gratuity guests choose to leave. Aside from that small incident, this is a great restaurant.

We notified them they did them again. Still same. Then we consumed about $8,000 pesos. We asked for boxes and they gave us 3. Then we asked for more because honestly we weren't going to eat the food. Then one lady told us we can't give you anymore. I told her charge us for the containers if you need to. I have came here previously because we were recommended and it has been good before. This will be the last time we will be here. I am a special needs mom and always look for options for my children. They should better their service and be more helpful. We just decided to put food in containers and to the people in the street. So it wont go to waste
