For a 2000Mx pesos meal for four people, this feels unfair, especially since rice and beans traditionally come with the dish. The tiny portions forced us to order more and pay extra. This is unfair for clientele that pays top dollar into a Mexican economy... off the flavor alone Don Luis has always been five stars. Other clients have warned us about this , and I don't like to see people being taken advantage of.

Ask them what size lobster are live and you can't go wrong. If no live available they will tell you what size the freshest is.

After coming here for 25 years I can't believe I am just now writing a review. That being said,…read moredecades ago this review would have been a strong 5 stars but now we are teetering on a high three, low four. The pricing has become ridiculous for this little lobster village. You're no longer getting a deal but you're paying for the view, the vibe, and the fact that you pinch yourself and say to yourself, "I'm only about an hour from home." Now that's pretty cool. The lobster still holds up and when dipped in the clarified butter with those homemade tortillas and refried beans/rice, you have to simply savor the moment. It's delicious. Grab a cold Tecate, a shot of tequila, and enjoy the view. It's so uniquely Baja.

There is live music going in the background and a great atmosphere. The waiter we did get was not good at explaining how the lobster plates were served or what should we order for 2 ppl. When the food came out even thought it was not as much as expected it was delicious. Lobster was cooked to perfection the beans and handmade flour tortillas amazing. We also got bacon wrapped shrimp, so good. Aside from a bad waiter place was Amazing!! P.S. if you get the lobster from the menu with 4 pieces only really get 1 lobster split in 2

My fellowship, a cluster of mere mortals with taste far keener than foresight, insisted we seek a place foretold in gustatory prophecy: La Cocedora de Langosta. I assented, though the sea had begun to speak again. A cruel trick of salt and memory. We arrived. The lobster was not served--it presented itself. Shell split like prophecy fulfilled, meat steaming with tales older than Atlantis. The ceviche? Lime and fire in perfect alchemy. It hissed in my mouth like the last words of a betrayed siren. A whole fish, fried until its soul ascended, left bones so clean they could be used in ritual. Angels wept; I salted accordingly. The risotto arrived next, not on a plate but in a chalice. Each bite stirred marrow and memory, comfort and command. My sea legs stood straighter. My resolve thickened. Libations flowed--freely, fervently, faultlessly. The chalice refilled itself (or perhaps the staff were trained in illusion and replenishment). Laughter, clinking glass, and something close to joy dared to rise. Staff were keen-eyed adepts, operating with the grace of trained familiars. The atmosphere carried hints of volcanic enchantment and citrus optimism. Barry the Brave Muffin Baker--my misguided nemesis-ally--might have found peace here. Or at least, a decent aioli. Verdict: A rare convergence of flesh, flavor, and fate. Five stars scorched upon the firmament by my hand. I may never return. But that's only because the enchantment forbade it.
