Very nice boutique hotel with spectacular ocean views, nice pool and great service. Special shout out to concierge Sergio with the spectacular memory who always makes us feel welcome. (I'm not a fan of the rain style above head shower head as rinsing can be challenging.)

Ensenada has many resorts, but this one is just small enough and boutique enough to give you those intimate amenities like privacy, seclusion, but really it's just an amazing view. I guess the star of the show is ever room has water facing balconies and even the ground floor is not obstructed by the also nice pool. The sun deck/s jut out over the water giving you that "king of the world" experience being right out on the water. It's all about the sunsets. The rooms have comfortable couches, heated floors in the bathrooms and sporadically throughout. Comfortable beds. The TV's are small and not menu'd for check out. Not all suites have a microwave and the coffee machine is a little hard to use even though it's pod based. All the curtains are black out and you'll need them. The price is affordable, but the service seemed to be hit or miss from being understaffed and having some wild expectations on normal. I wasn't able to book a massage which was weird considering it's a vacation resort hotel. The lobby was very nice, very modern and a little concrete compared to the actual room buildings, no elevator and all the rooms had a pretty bad AC condensation drip.

Last month I got married here and it was unforgettable to say the least. I had around 155 family members attend and we took over the whole hotel. Every room was us. I would walk out and everyone was like a neighbor lol. Message me if you have any doubts. I'm highly recommending this location. We were trying to do something in the Valle De Guadalupe but everyone would've got lost. I learned myself. That's why we chose this spot. The hotel recommended the decorator and other vendors it all was like a dream. Food was very, very good too Muchísimas gracias a Carolina Y Sergio Y Miguel igual a todo el equipo de Punta Morro

Very beautiful location with a close up and personal view of the ocean. Easy to make reservations on Open Table. The salad had too much dressing glopped on, but this was an easy fix. They know how to make an Irish Coffee; Watch out Fleming's in downtown L.A.!

My group came to try the restaurant during our cruise port day in Ensenada. The restaurant is located inside the resort but is open to the public. We took a taxi from downtown and it's only 10 minutes away. The restaurant was stylish and upscale with amazing views of the ocean and coast. The menu includes a wide variety of local, fresh seafood. I had the abalone marinated in chipotle and ginger soy sauce as a starter. I was so happy to see a delicacy like abalone on the menu. Of the dishes we tried my group's favorite was the roasted octopus. It was crispy, delicious, and beautifully presented. Highly recommend this restaurant if you'd like an upscale dining experience.

This review is for Weddings !!! Totally recommend having your wedding here honestly it's BEAUTIFUL and AFFORDABLE compared to the US. I booked one year in advance their packages include literally so much! All the packages include the essentials the price changes based on what you want to serve to eat. We chose the package that included appetizers, salad, and steak and shrimp! It was $107 per person! Everyone LOVED the food it was delicious!!! The pricing also includes a tasting which is amazing definitely come hungry the day you schedule the food tasting they do not skimp you they serve FULL PORTIONS at the tasting! Also the wedding planners, Ericka and Caro are INCLUDED and they are AMAZING! They helped me schedule meetings with all my vendors super easy highly recommend: Shante Evetnos for decor, Alan Aguilar for Photography, Baja Wedding Films for Video, Yasmin from Wonder Cakes, Dulce Ideas for dessert Table, Interferenzia for Music, en show productions for your confetti! All vendors the wedding planners helped me find and book! The day of the meeting with the vendors expect to drop money for deposits I was not prepared but thankfully most of them accept Zelle or PayPal! Also don't feel pressured to book the people the planner schedules, our planner had a photographer schedule but we saw Alan's Instagram and wanted to book him instead! So the venue includes: tables, chairs, white table cloth, white napkins, one free night, the tent, bar tenders, waiters, MIXERS FOR ALCOHOL! Legit you buy the alcohol and they provide all the mixers they made margaritas, mojitos even sangria! It was amazing omggg! The price goes up when you wanna upgrade so if you use there chairs and cloth and all that it's a steal but I wanted to do something not white so that was handled with the decorator but if you use there stuff it would be super affordable! Even the dance floor is included but we chose to upgrade ours with the decorator at an additional cost but again super affordable if you us there's! Everyone was in love with the hotel it's so beautiful! And my guests booked out the entire hotel which was amazing! The bar they have here is also good and super affordable! The venue itself was 10k and we spent another 10k on decorations (which alone was 6k), photo, video, violinist, photo booth, music, confetti canon, cake, desserts and screens to show a video our videographer made. In my opinion super affordable and my wedding was WOW something that in the US would have cost me easily 60k + The restaurant here is also good but they were not prepared for the wedding morning everyone was ordering room service before getting ready they got 30+ orders at the same time for room service and they were super overwhelmed which i understand maybe give them a heads up like her wedding morning we need room service lol but overall my wedding was amazing! The Punta Morro staff is amazing and all my vendors were great as well highly recommend getting married here

Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, with plenty of room to spread out after long days of eating our way through Ensenada and wine tasting in the valley. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the pool is amazing. Service throughout the property was warm and welcoming. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely seemed to want guests to enjoy their stay. One thing I appreciate about Coral & Marina is that it offers a different vibe than the large resort-style properties further south. It feels quieter, more relaxed, and more authentically Ensenada. It's the kind of place where you can spend the morning at the spa, the afternoon exploring fish taco stands and wineries, and the evening watching the sunset over the marina with a glass of Baja wine. We had an amazing stay!

Thankfully they changed it when I spoke up. Staff speaks fluent English Spacious room (Jr suite) and a lovely balcony I loved having a coffee maker and a fridge Pretty Americanized if that's your thing and full of tourists You feel especially safe with the guard, who asks you to verify your info Restaurant on the premises though you have to pay for it Cons: VERY noisy rooms with paper thin walls You can hear everyone, alongside their kids walking in the hallway (floors are tile) The rooms are outdated and the carpet is dirty Very loud at night (the hold events at the hotel premises but the noise goes down past 11pm) Our TV was broken but thankfully the bedroom one worked. The lighting in the rooms is a bit dark and depressing. A remodel is much needed Nice hotel, but if want something more clean, up to date and quiet, this is not the one. The large marina is part of of the hotel complex so you and your guests are afforded much more than a marina. Additionally of great importance is the Marina's well known check in and check out services for easy entry into or departure from Mexico. A minimal extra service charge provides you with a translator, transport and help with the paperwork. Quite honestly, pleasure vessels are crazy if they don't clear customs in Ensenada through the help of El Coral. Even when not on a boat, this is an excellent venue for relaxation or fun times. Before I get to the review of the hotel , I will tell you about an incident that occurred before we arrived to the hotel. On our way to the hotel we decided to stop at a grocery store before checking in so that we wouldn't have to go back out once it got later in the night . Unfortunately our car got broken into while we were in the store and we had to file a report with the police so we called the front desk to let them know we would he checking in late due to what had just happened , the lady at the front desk was really nice and understanding. She told us to take our time and take care of the issue we were having . My family and I were pretty shook up by what happened to us and we were contemplating just driving back home . But once we arrived at Quintas Papagayo and checked into our room we felt a little better . The premises felt safe and quiet , there is a gated and monitored entrance . The room was clean and the ocean view was so relaxing . It looked like they had updated the rooms and the pool area since we had last been there. The overnight security noticed our car window was shattered and he stopped by to check on us to make sure we were okay . We told him what had happened at the grocery store and he let us know that he was very concerned when he saw the broken window . It really goes to show that the security team is monitoring the premises and noting anything out of the ordinary. The front desk , maintenance and housekeeping staff were also very friendly and helpful . We asked someone at the front desk if we could have some leftover cardboard so that we could cover our broken window for the drive back to the states and they were able to find some for us . Everyone was always happy to help us out . My kids really enjoyed the pool and just hanging out on the patio in the evening. Although our getaway started off on a bad note , we were able to make the best of it ! I'm glad my kids got to experience this place just like I did when I was a kid .

Fortunately, you'll have that incredible view to look at, because you won't be able to be online much with the atrocious, sketchy Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, that's where the positive aspects end. I suspect due to the number of large interior villas, the property is packed with kids. While it's clearly a great spot to entertain children, getting anywhere near the hot tub for a relaxing soak simply isn't happening. I even tried waking up early to get in a quiet morning soak, only to learn the pool area doesn't open until 9:00 AM. and there's just something that seems so wrong about a 65-year-old man joining children in a hot tub. Once finally seeing children free, I discovered it was water that I wouldn't choose to get into and the actual jets were not working. In the room, you're provided with an antiquated coffee maker but no actual coffee, leaving your only on-site option an 85-peso price tag for a basic black cup. To top it off, you actually have to leave your physical ID just to borrow a pool towel, which feels a bit extreme compared to standard check-out sign-ins. After all, you do leave a 500 peso deposit upon check in. I will say I was impressed with the delivery of a large drink of water upon check up check-in and I certainly didn't mind pouring it into glasses however no jug is provided and I could imagine some folks having difficulty maneuvering it. All in all, the staff is amazing and the location is perfection. It just seems that any of the inadequacies stem entirely from the way the hotel is being managed.
