We decided to stay in Ensenada last minute. This hotel was recommended to us by one of the workers at a place we were visiting. We arrived and asked for pricing for a one night stay. The price was fair and competitive for hotels in the area as well. They have a private parking lot, so we went up the structure and unloaded our luggage. As we were getting checked in, they were also doing a shift change. They apologized for any inconvenience that it was causing us and once we were ready to go to our room, the manager himself showed us the way. He opened the room door and gave us a few tips, which included having to leave the key in the slot so that the lights stay on. He showed us the mini fridge and asked us if there was anything else that we needed. They were very welcoming. Our room was a pretty good size. The beds were comfortable and the AC ran well. The have sliding doors leading to the balcony, and the ocean breeze felt so good. Later on that night, I hung out in the balcony, watching people walking along the beach and some even having fun around the fire pits. The road has a decent amount of traffic throughout the night, but it doesn't really affect you in your room (unless you sleep with the balcony door open). The only drawback about this hotel, doesn't have anything to do with the actual hotel. It's just the location. It's not within walking distance from the port area or the center of the town. If you are looking for quiet and/or serenity, this is your place. We ended up getting in our car and going to the center of town to walk around for a bit. Besides this, this place was perfect. Note: if you stay here and are heading back to the US the following day, they will give you a pass to get into a special lane and possibly save you time crossing the border. We were heading back to Rosarito for a couple of nights, so we didn't get the pass. It's good to know that even for that, they are there for their guests.

CAUTION! Damaging cones with either cement or metals inside them. DO NOT Tap.

I visit Ensenada quite often considering I have tons of family here. I've seen this hotel plenty of times and it's always looked visually pleasing. This weekend we decided we were finally going to give it a try. What a mistake. 1. We arrived in our brand new Tacoma Truck and managed to damage it with the annoying orange cones covering the whole parking lot. What they don't tell you is that these cones have cement or some kind of metal underneath and they will cause some serious damage. It is damn near impossible to park a truck in this parking lot without tapping a cone and with that we now have a scratch along the side of our new truck, a shiny scratch on the steps and the whole step bar is pushed in which is going to cost hundreds to repair. When we mentioned it to the front desk, they said "oh ok". 2. There is no Hot water. We are here in the winter and we are right in front of the beach. It is chilly and we were really looking forward to a warm steamy shower. That was not possible considering front desk said to let the water run for 10 mins and some hot water should come out. It never did. All in all, Customer service is adequate and the view is beautiful and the hotel is visually nice but these negative details weren't minor and for that we will not be back. Thank you.

Nice hotel, with an awesome staff, had a minor hiccup upon checking in with our room not being dirty. They let us lounge in the pool while our room was being cleaned. Taking all covid precautions, they only allow one room in the pool area at any given hour. Hotel food is not good, I wouldnt recommend it.

This is a wonderful small hotel in Ensenada. My wife and I stayed here in May and plan on staying again in the future. The view of Hermosa Beach is great. The rooms were clean, large and quiet. The front desk attendants are friendly and helpful. The parking was easy to find and safe. We really liked the sushi that they serve in the restaurant.

Extremely good food, the strip steak ( carne asada ) was good. We split the Cesar salad, I liked the cherry tomatoes with the steak. Not pictured are our fresh tortilla chips. We ate the chips with the chicharron, carnitas and guacamole. The sliced up meat we ate with the chips as well and the guacamole. I really liked the dishes, with the potatoes you're able to get the strip steak juice from your plate onto them for added flavor.

Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, with plenty of room to spread out after long days of eating our way through Ensenada and wine tasting in the valley. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the pool is amazing. Service throughout the property was warm and welcoming. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely seemed to want guests to enjoy their stay. One thing I appreciate about Coral & Marina is that it offers a different vibe than the large resort-style properties further south. It feels quieter, more relaxed, and more authentically Ensenada. It's the kind of place where you can spend the morning at the spa, the afternoon exploring fish taco stands and wineries, and the evening watching the sunset over the marina with a glass of Baja wine. We had an amazing stay!

This place is very popular, people are always coming and going. My room was actually quite large with a nice balcony facing the ocean. I had the fortune of occupying a newly renovated room. My only complaint is the amount of noise that makes its way into the room from the exterior hallway. As soon as you enter on my left by the doorway was the bedroom which had a wall and windows facing the hallway. I guess, I was fortunate because most of my neighbors were quiet and respectful. The hotel can easily solve this problem by utilizing more sound absorbing materials. The hotel's restaurant has an outstanding breakfast buffet which was the most memorable experience of my stay. It's worth staying here just for the delicious breakfast. Would I stay here again? Most definitely, the hotel's proximity and food made all of the difference. There are also trails along the ocean front which I made use of after breakfast.

We had a very smooth check-IN, and were assigned MAYA ROOM 107, big, and beautiful!!! It has a fairly large refrigerator, a Nespresso Coffee Maker, an Iron and Ironing Board, and Blow Dryer. It also had a huge TV. Unfortunately, it didn't have a lot of options for English Speaking movies. While it seemed to have NETFLIX, it had not been set up in our room yet, UNFORTUNATELY!!! I would make one suggestion to Mr Luis Novelo, set up TVs for Prime, Netflix HBO, and Disney. FOR GUESTS, like us, to log into their account. We recently stayed at a hotel in Palm Springs, and they did something like that!!! UPON ENTERING OUR ROOM, it had been set up beautifully, romantically. RED HEARTS on the bed, with a TOWEL ANIMAL ON ONE OF THEM!!! We watched what we could for a while, then WALKED OUT FOR SUNSET. On SUNDAY MORNING, we went to LasTerrazas Restaurante Hotel Estero Beach. We thought we would have just a basic breakfast, but instead we had an ELABORATE BRUNCH!!! It was perfect, provided enough ENERGY for OUR 8 HOUR TOUR of the GUADALUPE VALLEY!!! We returned to NAP, SHOWER, and watch "TWISTER." We ended in the LasTerrazas Restaurante BAR, for PINA COLADAS, LONG ISLAND ICED TEAS, and TORTILLA SOUP!!! All in ALL, it was amazing STAY at an AMAZING RESORT!!!

The bathroom tub looked like it was going to break, when stepping on it the floor would sink. The room tv's did not work and the outlets look like they have not been updated since the late 1980's. We were originally going to stay 3 night but left on the 2nd night, we weren't even asked why when checking out. The pool is clean and very well kept. I was surprised that the premises had free ice machines. The water was salty so when showering you could feel the salt on your body. There's bellboys but when arriving to our spot none approached us, mind you we're 2 adults and 2 children including an infant.
