Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, with plenty of room to spread out after long days of eating our way through Ensenada and wine tasting in the valley. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the pool is amazing. Service throughout the property was warm and welcoming. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely seemed to want guests to enjoy their stay. One thing I appreciate about Coral & Marina is that it offers a different vibe than the large resort-style properties further south. It feels quieter, more relaxed, and more authentically Ensenada. It's the kind of place where you can spend the morning at the spa, the afternoon exploring fish taco stands and wineries, and the evening watching the sunset over the marina with a glass of Baja wine. We had an amazing stay!

That killed the appetite pretty quick. We also ordered wine but we did not ask for the price and they ended up pouring a very expensive bottle. It was good but make sure you ask because the bill was pretty high We also booked this place because paddle boarding was offered. When we went to rent the boards they said they were not renting them out. Major bummer, if I would have known I would have brought my own board Over all nice hotel but I'm not sure if I would go back

I'll list the pros and cons. Pros: Beautiful view of the marina, though they tried to give us a room, the same floor as the lobby, though I booked a sea view room. Thankfully they changed it when I spoke up. Staff speaks fluent English Spacious room (Jr suite) and a lovely balcony I loved having a coffee maker and a fridge Pretty Americanized if that's your thing and full of tourists You feel especially safe with the guard, who asks you to verify your info Restaurant on the premises though you have to pay for it Cons: VERY noisy rooms with paper thin walls You can hear everyone, alongside their kids walking in the hallway (floors are tile) The rooms are outdated and the carpet is dirty Very loud at night (the hold events at the hotel premises but the noise goes down past 11pm) Our TV was broken but thankfully the bedroom one worked. The lighting in the rooms is a bit dark and depressing. A remodel is much needed Nice hotel, but if want something more clean, up to date and quiet, this is not the one. If you desire security as your number one (most hotels tho have a guard) definitely consider this one

The large marina is part of of the hotel complex so you and your guests are afforded much more than a marina. Additionally of great importance is the Marina's well known check in and check out services for easy entry into or departure from Mexico. A minimal extra service charge provides you with a translator, transport and help with the paperwork. Quite honestly, pleasure vessels are crazy if they don't clear customs in Ensenada through the help of El Coral. Even when not on a boat, this is an excellent venue for relaxation or fun times. Easy drive or shuttle into downtown Ensenada.

Our wives walked into this gem and reserved a table for our party of eight. The seating is basically outdoors with a beachy feel. There are awesome views of the marina and the menu is extensive. I requested the Arrachera Sandwich which is basically Skirt Steak. It was tender, seasoned and it came with fries. My wife had the Fish Tacos and the kids had Fish Tacos & Car e Asada Nachos respectively. As an add on, we passed around Taquitos with Guacamole. I also drank a glass of Nebbiolo, while the rest of the family had Strawberry Lemonade. The weather & the setting was perfect after a Sun-filled chlorinated day. The entire group was really impressed. Their deck area also has a few gas fire pits to enjoy in the evening with some cocktails and appetizers. Again, the service here was way above board. Our server was very receptive to our every desire. We can't wait to return.

The view of our room was of the marina! We only stayed for one night, so it was pleasant. Before I get to the review of the hotel , I will tell you about an incident that occurred before we arrived to the hotel. On our way to the hotel we decided to stop at a grocery store before checking in so that we wouldn't have to go back out once it got later in the night . Unfortunately our car got broken into while we were in the store and we had to file a report with the police so we called the front desk to let them know we would he checking in late due to what had just happened , the lady at the front desk was really nice and understanding. She told us to take our time and take care of the issue we were having . My family and I were pretty shook up by what happened to us and we were contemplating just driving back home . But once we arrived at Quintas Papagayo and checked into our room we felt a little better . The premises felt safe and quiet , there is a gated and monitored entrance . The room was clean and the ocean view was so relaxing . It looked like they had updated the rooms and the pool area since we had last been there. The overnight security noticed our car window was shattered and he stopped by to check on us to make sure we were okay . We told him what had happened at the grocery store and he let us know that he was very concerned when he saw the broken window . It really goes to show that the security team is monitoring the premises and noting anything out of the ordinary. The front desk , maintenance and housekeeping staff were also very friendly and helpful . We asked someone at the front desk if we could have some leftover cardboard so that we could cover our broken window for the drive back to the states and they were able to find some for us . Everyone was always happy to help us out . My kids really enjoyed the pool and just hanging out on the patio in the evening. Although our getaway started off on a bad note , we were able to make the best of it ! I'm glad my kids got to experience this place just like I did when I was a kid .

My villa…read moreoffers an unbeatable location so close to Centro, and while the decor is a bit dated and has seen better days, the deck and spectacular views make up for it. Fortunately, you'll have that incredible view to look at, because you won't be able to be online much with the atrocious, sketchy Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, that's where the positive aspects end. I suspect due to the number of large interior villas, the property is packed with kids. While it's clearly a great spot to entertain children, getting anywhere near the hot tub for a relaxing soak simply isn't happening. I even tried waking up early to get in a quiet morning soak, only to learn the pool area doesn't open until 9:00 AM. and there's just something that seems so wrong about a 65-year-old man joining children in a hot tub. Once finally seeing children free, I discovered it was water that I wouldn't choose to get into and the actual jets were not working. In the room, you're provided with an antiquated coffee maker but no actual coffee, leaving your only on-site option an 85-peso price tag for a basic black cup. To top it off, you actually have to leave your physical ID just to borrow a pool towel, which feels a bit extreme compared to standard check-out sign-ins. After all, you do leave a 500 peso deposit upon check in. I will say I was impressed with the delivery of a large drink of water upon check up check-in and I certainly didn't mind pouring it into glasses however no jug is provided and I could imagine some folks having difficulty maneuvering it. All in all, the staff is amazing and the location is perfection. It just seems that any of the inadequacies stem entirely from the way the hotel is being managed.

The house is huge and you're far enough away from everyone so you have complete privacy. They have a 24 hour guard and secure parking so no one gonna fuck with your car. They do have room service, food comes from the cafe next door and it's delicious! Best part is every morning they have fresh fruit and coffee in the kitchen. They have a collection of wine and beer that you can help yourself to. Just let them know and they will add it to your bill. They have snacks so if you get midnight munchies go ahead and take them, it's free fifty free! The people who work and so helpful and nice, they leave in the early evening and the guard is there all night. It's super safe and soo fucken beautiful! It's worth every penny in my opinion, It's my new go to place when I visit Ensenada. I want to thank Antonio the owner and the staff, it felt like it was our home away from home I didn't want to leave. Thank you Casa Natalie I love you!

It's January so we can't really get into the pool cuz we would freeze. The service is good and it is very clean. I'm pretty picky about cleanliness and I get grossed out VERY easily. I've stayed in a few hotels in Ensenada before and brought stuff to clean parts of the room. I didn't have to do that here. The view from the room and balcony is beautiful. I think there are only 7 rooms here. There is a shared kitchen in the lobby where you can cook and store food and drinks. If I had a complaint it would be that the room is cold because the heater does not have the capacity to warm up the entire room which Is bigger than some homes. Hahahha. Extra blankets might help. Overall a wOnderful place that would be even better in the summer months.
