I randomly found this place on Instagram a few weeks ago and finally got around to placing an order for half of dozen of the tres leches cupcakes. Pick up was going to be the day after and I was drooling at the pictures and couldn't wait. They are very good at replying to messages on Instagram. Like very good! I did get a little lost going to the location but it was fine, nothing major lol. They are very nice and professional and the cupcakes were delicious! I recently used Casa de Vegan services after our usual bakery changed owners and the new ones are extremely bad, and give horrible customer service. I had to look for a vegan bakery soon, unfortunately there are not that many in our area, but when I came across their instagram, i decided to give it a chance. They acomodate my order without any issues. The cake was super delicious and just the perfect moisture. I got a lot of compliments from this cake, and of course I reefer them. Writing the owner to tell her not to expand. Whatever you do don't become a chain across the IE. I'll become a fatty for sure. Cupcakes are fire. We got the variety pack and they were all delicious. Our favorite was the strawberry creme one. She uses real strawberries! None of the prepackaged strawberry goo or frozen then dethawed berries that so many restaurants use. Also no prepackaged frosting! She's the real deal. Also she has vegan tres leches. Now that is hard to find. I'm biased because I've been vegan for awhile, but like other reviewers mentioned nonvegans loved them too. Was great to introduce someone with a severe lactose intolerance to tres leches. My mom ordered a cake from Sara for my younger sister's birthday, she ordered a red velvet heart shaped cake. It was delicious! I'm not vegan myself, but you cannot tell the difference. Cake was moist and it was not overly sweet it was perfect! I was sent to pick up the cake, Sara communicated very efficiently and my order was ready in a timely manner! Sara went above and beyond to accommodate my short notice birthday cake order. I called 3:55pm. She closes at 4 pm.. no joke. She answered..... bonus points! I asked if she had any pre-made birthday cakes to buy for a pick up the next day. Sara said "no, I make them all fresh". She asked what type of cake I wanted. I ordered a vegan cake for 8-10 people, very skeptical since not actually going to a bakery shop and doing everything on line. Well, if I could give 10 stars I would!!!! Everyone who ate the chocolate drip cake with strawberry filling I ordered loved it!!! The cake was beautifully made, the fruit was fresh and beautiful, I drove 30 minutes home, secured the cake in the car, the cake sat in my frig for 2 days and even after the second day, still looked like I just picked it up! I'm not a vegan but my mom is. Her birthday was coming up and I was looking for somewhere I could get a vegan birthday cake. Found this place on yelp and saw it was highly rated. Reached out to Sarah for a quote through yelp and to see if she would be able to have the cake done by the date needed. She responded promptly and I was able to Venmo her the deposit. She was professional and communicative. On the day of pickup, she had the cake ready on time. I'll be honest, I was a little skeptical. I know vegan food has improved a lot in the last few years, but I had my doubts. The cake was beautiful and it was good! My mom loved it, and I--the non-vegan--was impressed. It didn't seem off or weird or like a fake version of a cake. It was good, the frosting was light and creamy, and the cake was firm (not crumbly). If you want a delicious vegan tres leches cake, this is your place! Even if you're on a time crunch, I got super quick responses and had secured a cake the night before I needed it. Excellent customer service and excellent cake. Please note this person sells from their home so you will need to communicate what you need beforehand. I spent $40 on a 6 inch cake for two but it can easily feed four or five since it's tall. read more

It was such a hit!!! Everyone at work loved it!! I ordered the chocolate cake 8 inch $60. Price is not bad especially being a vegan cake. The cake was so moist and the chocolate flavor was just amazing. I was scared because i have mever tried this place but i was super excited how it turned out. I ordered one day before and they were able to do it right away and was reafy right at pick up time. The only thing is that because it is a house, you would need the code for the gate. I called and asked to buy a birthday cake for my daughter. She agreed and told me to pick it up the day of. It's the day before and she texts me at 5:00 pm telling she won't be able to have it made until the next day after the day I needed it. So now I'm here scrambling to find another vegan cake. I will not be using her again. Very unprofessional. UPDATE*** I called cupcakes and curiosities this afternoon and they were able to make the cake and have it done by 4 pm. It's so beautiful. Brandon's energy and hospitality were so great that I completely forgot about the pizza and decided to order my whole meal right there.(Also the pizza spot is not kid friendly at all unless you're fathering little vampires!) I was really excited after seeing the website at https://casadevegan.com advertise "premium ingredients" and "artisanal" vegan baked goods. I ordered a birthday cake and a dozen cupcakes for $140, expecting high-quality, organic or at least non-GMO ingredients. It wasn't until I picked up the order that I realized the website where I found the baker's information (https://casadevegan.com) isn't her actual website -- even though it was the top Google result. That site advertised premium, organic, and high-quality offerings. When I showed her the claims on it, she told me her real website is a different one. Both sites have the exact same menu, pictures, and contact information, which I found confusing and odd. When I asked the owner if the products were organic, she replied "no, they're vegan" -- completely dodging the question. She couldn't confirm whether any ingredients were organic or non-GMO. Even more disappointing, three of the cupcakes contained Oreos. I had specifically asked her to surprise me with flavors for the last three cupcakes because I would have never consciously ordered anything with Oreos. Oreos aren't considered truly vegan by most standards because the sugar is often processed with bone char from animal bones. Plus, the soy, corn, and sugar ingredients in Oreos are typically GMO. This is a common mistake bakers make when trying to accommodate vegans. The original website made specific quality claims that her current site doesn't. When I brought this up, she mentioned she can make things organic "upon request," but that wasn't disclosed upfront. For the price, I expected transparency and better ingredients -- not standard supermarket ones. I would have refused the order if I had known, but I had already paid upfront thinking I was getting quality, organic, non-GMO vegan desserts. This experience was disappointing and did not meet my expectations for a premium vegan bakery. If you're a health-conscious vegan looking for truly organic or non-GMO options, I recommend being very specific about your requirements upfront -- otherwise you may end up with standard ingredients at a premium price. read more

Right next to Ross, area kinda sketch sad bc it's the area with all the homeless people walking…read morearound. Inside is still pretty clean, they do have their own security guard I guess who can provide some security. The treats are cute and good and unique. We definitly do not have anything like this in the IE. It is on the pricier side but it is good and light and "fluffy". Everyone was super nice as well.

Uncle Fluffy has been on my list for like a gajillion years not even joking. my mother is a cheesecake fanatic.... and also an almond mom. so japanese cheesecake is that woman's dream: lighter, less dense, and less sweet than american cheesecakes (the higher protein content from fluffed egg whites also means u could make ur fellow gymbro into "making up" the calories too) the regular cheesecake was yum and the texture was divine: basically if you imagined a fluffy soufflé pancake and cheesecake had a baby. it didn't wow me though, especially since i love things on the sweeter side and it definitely wasn't. for a tiny $11 dessert, it didn't taste like i was indulging in a dirty little sweet treat. so i'll stick w my dense caloric diabetic cheesecakes from the freezer isle at vons. BUT TO EACH THEIR OWN! my mom ATE THAT UNC UPPPPP. she ADORED the cheesecake. also service was quick and sweet. uncle fluffy def has daddy potential xoxo ;P

My first reaction to trying it was WOW. It is moist, decadent and sooo delicious. You can tell it was made with a lot of love and care. The service is wonderful. The baker Maya is so sweet, kind and values her customers. I highly recommend this bakery as it is truly the best!
