This was among my most memorable meals in Spain and I am surprised there aren't more reviews of this restaurant. I loved the white table cloth service and the ladies bathroom is so lovely too. From service to the amazing food, my brother and I had a lovely time eating here.
For our starter, we got the Casa Carmen's Mixed starter plate (Padron peppers, potatoes with brava sauce, Andalusian squids, hummus and crispy crust bread with Ibérico ham for €8). The peppers were amazing and my brother loved the hummus.
Next we got the Mixed Croquettes Platter (2 pieces of chicken, goat cheese and mushrooms, Iberian Ham for €5). These were 6 little morsels of deliciousness that we gulped down in flash - they came with a little bit of salad with the most tantalizing vinegar. That was then followed by an amazing leek soup w/ mushrooms + ham and olive oil (€8) - the presentation of this was superb and the taste lived up to it. The final dish we got here was their Seafood Paella (€8), and the taste of this was very distinct - it was smokier that I expected a paella to be, there wasnt as much saffron tasting notes to it. We ended our meal with dessert called Textures of Chocolate (chocolate fondant, white chocolate sauce, brownie, dark chocolate ice-cream and cocoa crumble for €4.75). Loved this so much, decided to take the Greek yogurt, mango chutney and red fruit crumble (€3.95) as takeaway.
For the amount of delicious food we had, my brother and I thought the cost was really reasonable and the staff were super kind and called us a taxi afterwards to take us back to the hotel. I really enjoyed eating here, would absolutely recommend and hope to come back again for a return visit to try the other things on their menu.
