For those that know, they're ravens, too, It's a safeguard thing: Odin made the raven an imparter of wisdom. Anyway... This is a great store! The proprietress is a fascinating individual with whom I loved talking, and if we hadn't had a mandatory obligation 80 miles away at an appointed time, I probably would have spent more time and money (yes!) in the store. On multiple occasions, they have made me feel bad about asking any questions at all about the menu or not ordering quickly enough. They seem put out by serving customers. The last time I was in, I had a question about the size of a beverage, and the woman was not only rude to me, but she proceeded to talk rudely about me behind my back when I was in the bathroom and my friend who was waiting for me overheard at all. I guess they have enough business, because they feel like they can treat customers like crap. The coffee is nowhere near good enough to treat people this way, as well.

It was right around the corner from where we stayed so it was so convenient before catching the ferry. I am pretty basic when it comes to my breakfast (ok ok...I had never been on a ferry for that long and was nervous) so I just ordered a toasted bagel with bacon. I was very happily surprised an order of bacon was four slices and that would be sufficient to cover my protein needs at the time. I also got an iced latte with almond milk -- which was my emotional support drink that morning. (I did fine on the ferry...I am just nervous on all bodies of water).

Everything was lovely and a perfect portion for us, splitting the sandwich and the creamy mac salad. The sandwich had curried chickpea salad and it was delicious! The Lavender Latte was perfection, not to sweet but a yes in the lavender world. We overheard others come in specifically for their cookies, so we grabbed a coco loco to go. It was filled with coconut and macadamia nuts, was so perfectly moist in the center. Thank you Krista for looking after us!
