I paid $931 for a cake serving 60 people, expecting a high-quality, professional product. I was very clear when placing my order: I wanted a Hello Kitty made of fondant, not a ceramic figurine. I specifically chose Divine Delicacies because they assured me they were the best at replicating designs exactly as shown in pictures. They promised me that the cake would look just like the reference photo I provided. What I received was completely unacceptable: * The cake design was poorly executed--one of Hello Kitty's eyes was much bigger than the other, making it look completely off. * The colors were wrong and did not match the reference photo. * The fondant was not smooth, and the cake was uneven, showing a complete lack of skill. Whoever made this cake clearly had no experience. * The cake itself was dry and not fresh at all. When I called the store to express my concerns, the customer service was horrible. The employee I spoke with was rude, dismissive, and even yelled at me. She told me I should have called "with due time" so they could have sent someone to paint the cake on-site. This was outrageous--the cake was delivered while my party was already happening. They expected me to stop my daughter's birthday celebration to have someone repaint the cake in front of my guests?
