Also got my beloved cortado, which came in a huge mug & I could actually hold the cup because there was a handle vs. the normal cortado cups that are burning hot with no option to hold them other than to burn off your finger tips on the hot glass. (Who invented those?!) The chef (who I suspect is also an owner?) was super chipper and friendly, and he delivered my dish, while the sweet barista brought out my coffee. The artistic details serioulsy brought me to tears; I was blown away by her talent and how she LISTENED to what I wanted for the cake. She also made a gluten free vegan cake that everyone ate -- no one could tell the difference. If I ever need a pastery chef again, I know who to call. I would highly recommend her to anyone - especially to anyone with special needs (her first cake made for me was diabetic/low sugar and delicious). Very reasonable price for the amount of work put into her creations. It's obvious she loves what she does and takes great pride in doing it.
