As I was ordering a group came in and you could tell she was annoyed. I paid for my ice cream and waited and waited some more. The group who came in after me was getting their ice cream before me. When I finally got my ice cream I was trying to take a quick picture of it and the same girl from the register told us they were closed and we needed to go outside. CONCEPT: The shop makes its own flavors of sugar-sweetened ice cream, including uncommon flavors such as carrot cake. LOCATION: Sweet Scoops is located in the new shopping/apartment complex at Brookfield's Four Corners. There is ample parking in the adjacent lot. FOOD: I tried a special -- Dubai chocolate ice cream. I chose the chocolate-dipped waffle cone. Next time I will try the bubble cone, as those are made as ordered, ensuring cone is crispest. AMBIANCE: The space is unusually large for an ice cream shop. This allows customers to easily review the menu in the wall, as well as the available flavor options. There is a separate dining room, as well as outdoor patio, allowing customers to enjoy their selections away from the order area. SERVICE: Service is swift and friendly, just like an ice cream shop should be!
