Gorgeous car, great process. I will give a 5th star if they make good on the brakes. Felt like it should've been caught in the 150 point inspection but they have a chance to make it right still. read more

It started when the delivery of my car kept being delayed. Next, the car they brought me was the wrong color. I bought a white truck and was brought a silver one. I was told the only option was to return the truck and start over. Then......the registration/title process was not explained. After having to have several things done to the truck before I could receive title. I was told that Carvana would handle the registration; not true. I was forced to have a document notarized which was blank!! My temporary plates expired before Carvana submitted my paperwork so I was unable to drive my car. The customer service agents were friendly but the process is a total sham. Never again. read more

Car buying process was super simple and I found them competitively priced. Selecting the car and uploading all the necessay information was a bit of a pain - but better than spending 8 hours at the dealership as they haggle back and forth on warranties and floor mats. The 7 day "test drive" as well as the initial test drive is great - as I got to take the car out on actual road conditions (the intersate, 0-60 in an empty parking lot, turn radius) - vs. the dealer taking it around the block. The delivery was delayed (-) but that was not really a big deal for me. read more

1. May this experience serve solely to help future car buyers to avoid the problems I've had to endure. The process of finding and physically receiving the vehicle I chose was flawless. And I will highlight Chris (the driver) for his expertise. My problem lies with their registration and customer service. I've had emails roll through nearly every week with requests of forms I've sent the previous weeks: but when it comes to their customer service explaining why it's wrong or what they need. Each individuals knowledge on the forms varies so you get what you get with what they know. I've had to call Carvana and my bank over 5 times to handle paperwork and forms. Along with unkept open promises. I'm truly disappointed with how this experience was. Stay with read more

DO NOT BUY FROM CARVAVA!!! These people are crooks. I ordered a Mazda CX3 and when delivered was covered with rust. I was told by Adam that a Denver Manager would reach out to help. No call, No one to talk with only a phone center in Phoenix with less than helpful service reps who only say canned responses. This is a bait and switch operation with fake pictures and damage that is not disclosed. Someone needs to investigate this shady company. read more

Don't buy a car from Caravana. They are liars and you need to worry about their "Worry Free Guarantee". The brought me a car and the headlights didn't work. They admitted sometimes that happens during delivery and then refused to cover it even though I was still under warranty. What kind of company delivers a car with $500.00 of repairs and refuses to deal with it while acknowledging it happens in their delivery process. Scam artist. Yes its a Cadi and it cost 500 to replace both bulbs. read more

The worst experience. Once I received the car and tried to report things wrong with the car on day 3 - they passed me around to their warranty company. Warranty company passed me back to Carvana - they passed me back and forth for 3 weeks and are now saying because I don't have a claim number issued within 7 days they won't pay for the issues. I think they do that on purpose so they don't have to pay for things that are wrong. read more

I have had a fairly good experience thus far. I did find the car I was looking for and after a "transportation issue" I finally received it a week later than expected. However, after taking it to my mechanic for inspection that next day, found several things not mentioned in the initial report. The tires (3) were - original to the car- over 6 years old, and the third was a replacement from 2017. Needless to say- the tread was different and on one of the original tires -there was an air bubble. With an all wheel drive ( AUDI quarto) all 4 tires must be replaced at the same time to avoid suspension issues in the car. The staff at Carvana has been pretty good- I have found one young man SAM who has been exceptional!! SILVER ROCK-however, has been difficult at best to deal with, my Audi repair shop appalled at the service, rude and nasty! They are the same way with me, and I am not sure how much longer I am going to need to put up with this crap. If I had not needed a car ASAP ( mine was totaled when I was hit) I may have returned the car. I can't believe that a good company would use a warranty partner who hurts their business. There was also a chip in the window behind the Carvana sticker. When the oil change was done at Carvana the person doing it tightened the washer to tight causing an oil leak. Little things that add up, and make for a long week on the phone. Hours every day for the last 4 days. Never have purchased much on line, and never spending this kind of money to have to spend so many hours on the back end getting things resolved. Debatable if I would do this again..... Thanks to SAM for making it a bit more tolerable. Teri B read more

Don't do it. They are clueless. Everything seems fine until the return policy expires, then they tell you they messed up the paperwork and it'll take 80 days to correct. You should just "save your money" as the lender will want 3 payments at once when the issue is corrected. You CANNOT speak with anyone, they text which is so professional. Go to your local dealer and buy locally from someone that understands the titling requirements in your state, not some fly by night online website that won't even speak to you in person. read more

this was so easy. filled out the paperwork on line and went to dealer and got a check. easy peasy!

We loved everything about this experience. No salesperson making you feel weird about looking at as many cars as you want. The ability to side by side compare vehicles--literally two tabs to flip between. The selection and value on their vehicles was top notch. We will be looking to replace our second car soon and have every intention of going back to Carvana for that purchase. read more

This is my first time buying a car by myself. I enjoyed shopping online for one. This was the easiest way to buy a car. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I've had this car for a month and a half and it's going in to the dealer again for the third time it's been in the dealer more than I've drivin it. I've called they refused to give me any credit or anything for the time I've took in off to take this car in. They gave me 250 back because there driver didn't show up and I had to wait while I was paying insurance on it so it's reasonable for them to give me 250 cause they were in the wrong now they refuse to help any more .... it showed a 110 point inspection but after all this work I doubt they Inspected anything I mean the air filters were so dirty !!! I love my new car and the process of buying a car online for the first time. i'm recommending Carvana to everyone I know. Working with Carvana was a very good purchasing experience. The car was delayed in delivery over two weeks, but we dealt with that. Jim, our delivery person, was great. Unfortunately, when we received the car, the outside looked good, but the inside was filthy. When I chatted with Carvana about this, the response I got was that it was one day past the 7-day period and I would have had to bring this up after 48 hours of having the car. I didn't realize this...plus, I wasn't driving the car much yet because we have to have the windshield washer reservoir replaced because of a crack in it, which we're working with Silver Rock on. The state of the interior was disappointing, to say the least. read more

After a very bad experience with another well known large car company, I went on the Carvana website and I'm SO glad that I did. the vehicle pick up experience was not quite what I expected. I arrived on time for my appointment, however, I had to wait for over an hour before I was assisted. it took another hour and 15 minutes before I was able to drive away with the vehicle. I went on a test drive and learned the Drivers Side AC was blowing out hot air and no air coming out of the back seat AC at all. Once I got back to Carvana from the test drive I was advised that I will have to put in a claim to get the AC fixed. I contacted Silver Rock and made multiple attempts to get a diagnostic test with an In-Network provider, and each time I called in advance to inform them I was coming. Once I drove to the locations each one turned me away. Either their diagnostic equipment wasn't working or they claim they didn't have time wasting my gas and time. I still haven't gotten the diagnostic complete as I keep getting the run around and I've only got so many days for the repair warranty. in my opinion, Carvana should have ensured there were no issues with this car before it was given to me as they claim to have performed a complete check and informed me it passed all previous inspections but that was not the case. NOT SO HAPPY WITH THE EXPERIENCE AT THIS POINT read more

I ordered the car and was expecting it a week later to be delivered, they had to reschedule my delivery for a week later because a driver issue, that delivery date came and they pushed out agian and no one said anything till the day hit,so I was on the phone half day trying to figure out where my car was. To be told they aren't got to deliver till 9:30pm that day and then they called me the next morning from a General manager at the hub in my area to tell me my car is there and I could come pick up from there...... after all the headaches I decided to go get the car and I ended up loving vehicle so decided to keep it, the car also said it had a windshield shade and a remote start, and there isn't a windshield shade and you have to pay for the remote start through Land Rover which wasn't on the description so on top of the car payment I also have to pay a annual fee for the feature I wanted the most. but this company is horrible and there is no communication within the company so no one knows anything and can't tell you anything. I was very very unsatisfied and frustrated when my car was dropped off. The man who dropped it off informed me that there is a screw in one of my tires, burns in the interior console, the backup camera was not working, and there are lights inside that he does not know how to turn off. None of these issues were even mentioned in the carfax report or the listing page where I purchased the car from carvana. Very unprofessional and not acceptable. read more

First my car wasn't delivered to me when I had scheduled because a wiper blade was broken. They paid for an uber for me to go 20 minutes cross town to their location. They did fix the wiper but once I got to the car there were two imperfections they hadn't listed! Some weird metallic wrap on a panel on the back and a noticeable scratch on the side. I checked around the whole car and drove it home still. The next day I open the tailgate and it won't stay up! Just kept falling back down. So after having my car for 24 hours I'm already searching for a Carvana approved mechanic. Seems like most mechanics won't work with them because they pretty much only have Firestone, Pep boys, or low rated shops. I did however find one 30 minutes from me that had a good rating. The only thing I am pleasantly surprised with is that Silver Rock insurance wasn't a hassle to deal with as the mechanic does all of that correspondence and they're paying for everything to get fixed. Overall medium experience considering there was a bunch of issues up front but they are fixing them and I didn't have to deal with going to a dealership so I guess you are taking a risk buying a car you've never seen or driven in person. read more

I purchased a Ram 1500 from Carvana last year. My trucks battery started dying and the engine light turned on and when I brought it to the local Ram dealer they informed me I was sold a truck with the INCORRECT BATTERY. I paid $300 for a new battery and install. I called Carvana to inform them and sent them pictures of the receipt from the dealer clearly displaying "FOUND INCORRECT BATTERY INSTALLED" but because they didn't actually inspect the battery during their "150 point inspection" they can not cover it under my extended CarvanaCare warranty that I purchased. They said their "150 point inspection" only checked to see if it was functional, not if it was the correct battery for the truck. I do not trust their inspection was done by qualified mechanics or technicians and now I do not trust this company. read more

On 5/15/2020, I purchased a vehicle from Carvana. The purchasing of the car online was extremely easy. I was excited to see that my car would be delivered to my house in 5 days on 5/20. On 5/18, I get a call from a Carvana customer service stating that during the final inspection they found there was a broken headlight and the moulding on the passenger side of the car was coming off. I was disappointed as they advertise an 150 point inspection that is done on all cars prior to listing them on the site. I am curious to know how a headlight and moulding on the car could be damaged if it was just sitting in their warehouse? Additionally, it is not a good business model to confirm a delivery date when a final inspection has not been completed. The car was delayed another 9 days meaning I was supposed to get this car on 5/29. I get things happen so I accepted that they were doing everything they could to get the car to me in good condition. They offered me $150.00 for the inconvenience. On 5/27, 2 days before the delivery date, I get another call from Carvana stating that the delivery date will need to be pushed out a second time due to the repairs not being completed. The new delivery date would be 6/4. After speaking to customer service they said they were only able to offer me $250.00 total for the inconvenience. At this point, I was spending more than $300.00 total on a rental car and insurance that I did not need. Since my car had been delayed several times, I called Carvana daily to get status updates on the car. I was assured that my car would be here on 6/4 and I stopped calling for updates. On 6/2 I get another call from Carvana saying that they will need to push the delivery out AGAIN to 6/13. I was told that during the repairs, someone had broken the handle on the car and they needed to order another part to fix it. They stated they could only offer me $350.00 for the now upwards of $500 that I am spending on insurance/other means of transportation. I was also informed that it is not guaranteed my car would be delivered on 6/13 as they did not yet have the part that was needed to repair the door handle - why would a delivery date and time be confirmed if they do not have the means to guarantee this delivery? As I did prior, I called daily to get status updates on this car. Each time I call in, I get a different excuse about what happened and why the car is delayed. Each person I spoke to assured me that they would follow up with information and each person failed to do so. Today, I called back in and spoke with a manager on the Delivery Resolution Team who assured me the car was getting repaired today and the part was in. He assured me that this car would be delivered on 6/13 without a problem. At this point I hung up and immediately logged onto my account to update my down payment. Since it has now taken a month for me to get this car, I have more money saved up that I was able to put toward the down payment of the vehicle. I went into my account to update only the cash amount and when I completed the change I was brought back to the scheduling page. When you go to update the information, it asks what you would like to update. When I only selected that I wanted to increase the down payment, nowhere did it say that I would also need to reschedule the car delivery date. To my surprise I was asked to reschedule the delivery date of the car. The earliest date is now 6/16, 3 days after the date promised by the manager on Delivery Resolution. I figured it would be easy to call customer service and have this changed back to the 6/13 date as I just spoke to someone 30 minutes prior who confirmed verbally that 6/13 would not be an issue. I called back in and was told that I was now unable to have the 6/13 delivery date because someone else had taken it. I escalated this to 3 different people who basically told me that it was my fault and there was nothing they could do. The only person who seemed like they even cared to help was a lovely girl Alex from the Denver branch. This is now the 5th time my car has been delayed and it has been 28 days and counting. It is ridiculous that updating the down payment amount would also trigger a reschedule of the car delivery when it was confirmed - these two have nothing to do with each other. Additionally, I was told that I will be receiving $350.00 for the inconvenience, however, this does not even close to cover the expenses of the time and money I have spent dealing with Carvana. Additionally, I only will get this $350.00 if I decide to keep this specific vehicle. At this point, I am unsure if this car even exists and I am quite frankly terrified of the condition it will be in once (if) I actually receive this. I have had a less than good experience working with this company and do not have very much faith in the in the quality or condition of the car I am about to receive. Definitely do your research when deciding to go with Carvana. Updates to come. read more

Traded in my vehicle on April 13th. The new truck was not listed properly (had a Short Bed instead of the advertised Standard Bed) so I opted to swap it out for another truck. It took 2 weeks to have the new truck delivered due to "tranportation issues" on Carvana's end. On the morning of the second delivery (April 30th) the driver called to inform me the vehicle had been damaged in transit. At that point I had little confidence Carvana would actually deliver a car properly so I decided to convert my trade-in to a sale. The rep assisting me assured me they would expedite the process given the previous issues and I could expect the check on May 4th. The check never arrived and after many phone calls spanning several days, I was finally able to determine on May 7th that though the sale was processed a check was never issued. Again, I was assured the check issuance would be expedited so FedEx could pick it up that afternoon. Several hours later I received the tracking info, which indicated the shipment was created after 5pm and hadn't been received by FedEx. The earliest date I'll now receive the check is May 10th, 4 business days after it was promised (and that's only because I hounded them about it, otherwise the check probably still wouldn't be issued). The only response I've received from Carvana is hollow platitudes acknowledging the situation is awful and that this shouldn't happen while providing no real solutions or restitution. I strongly recommend not doing business with this company; it is the worst customer service experience I have dealt with in a long time. read more

There doesn't seem a way to review the national Carvana bunch so this is for them. I started the process on line to sell my car and they immediately replied with a very good offer. I immediately replied and began the process of sending all the requested paperwork such as copies of the title, DL, etc. They emailed back and said they would be back in 1-2 days. They never did. I tried emailing, leaving messages on the chat line and calling. They would never respond. Then after their 7 day period they terminated the offer. I fully believe they over quoted the value and instead of honestly dealing with the problem just acted as asses. read more

The girl from the Denver location was very nice. however, the home office where ALL the customer service goes thru, is awful. They delivered a car that was "150 point check " yet the battery was dead. This turned into getting hung up on 6 times trying to get help from customer service. Manager finally called back and did nothing to help nor make sure I was happy. Took an entire day with no car and couldn't get my medications. The tow company sent 2 different trucks that couldn't find my place, so on I sit WAITING for this experience to end. Finally had to take an uber to work and back since I had no car. I purchased from Carvana and was a great experience until a week or so later my check engine light came on. Apparently someone used my vehicle to ride over rough terrain and damaged stuff underneath. The process of buying a car online is convenient! There does come risks. We purchased our first car and the day of delivery was notified that while in transit, the keys were lost. Delivery was delayed but we were able to pick the car up same day. About 4 days into our 7 day trial, we have mechanical issues that resulted in us having to trade the car for a second one. The day of delivery I received a call there was a delay in transit and rescheduled my delivery 2 days back. Later that afternoon I received another call stating there wasn't a delay and they could deliver at the original time. Once we agreed on the time, the exchange was really smooth. The second car is doing well so far mechanically wise, whoever the car is FILTHY. The seats are stained, the dash is dirty. I have had to clean the interior and disinfect it myself. I reached out to the contact I have from the first delivery and was offered a $100 check to get the car detailed, I hope that's enough to cover the cost as I should NOT be coming out of pocket when Carvana advertise clean/disinfectant cars at every delivery. Also was told it's taking rather long to get the checks so I'm really not confident AT ALL I'll actually get the check. read more

To start off I like Carvana and the motive behind it. The problem (rant) I have is if you are looking for a sports car or more specifically a German sports car the only choices they have are purchase pending. As a result I tend to search Carmax as they at least have a few choices of unsold German cars where as Carvana has almost none that are not purchase pending. Having a better price ( Carvana ) on zero available cars is not actually better......Just saying Carvana. read more

I bought my car in July of 2021, and after three delays I received my car with a very bad alignment, bald tires and a strange idle and noise coming from the engine. The tires and alignment are no big deal as I was buying a used car but the engine thing was a concern. The driver who dropped off the car assured me I had a warranty that would cover my issues. After several conversations with Carvana and SilverRock and even paying $195 for a dealer certified BMW mechanic diagnosic, the Carvana people and the SilverRock people refuse to fix my car. To be fair the customer service people at Carvana are very nice and helpful, but the decision makers are not keeping their warranty promise to me as a consumer. So new tires, new sensors and valves and an alignment. Not 60 days in and I am now spending a couple thousand on a car that was suppose to have passed a service check prior to delivery . #carvan, #poorcustomerexperience, #silverrock, read more

I was initially very impressed with Carvana. I logged in, gave them a little very basic information, phone, e-mail and address, but oddly, not my ss#. Once I had created an account and logged in, my down payment, interest rate and monthly payment was listed along with every car I viewed. And the awesome thing was that those things did not change whatsoever as I worked through the buying process. They had a wide range of vehicles that fit what I was looking for and even a good number that specifically matched my very narrow search criteria. Once I had selected a vehicle, the buying process could not have been easier! It was when my vehicle arrived a week later that things started to unravel a bit. There were several issues with the car that, quite frankly, should have been caught in the 150 point inspection that Carvana so proudly advertises. There was an issue with the left rear window not wanting to roll up and stay up, the driver door lock did not work, and because of that, the remote start did not work. The delivery driver made note of the issues and Carvana did step up and take care of them, but that required finding an in network repair shop that Carvana's warranty company, SilverRock, deals with. As it turned out, the repairs needed required special tools that the local repair shop didn't have. I had to take my car to the local VW dealer which was not in the SilverRock repair network. Fortunately, they were able to work with SilverRock to take care of the issues at no cost to me. But that ordeal cost 2 days of my initial 7 day return period. When I finally got to drive the car for any length of time, I noticed that the front struts were klunking and worn. This requires another trip to an authorized shop, a diagnosis, approval from SilverRock and repair that will likely take several more days. Overall, the buying experience itself was the easiest I have ever experienced! If I were rating Carvana solely on that, I would be giving them 5 stars! But the issues the car had when delivered should have been easily caught by the 150 point inspection and weren't. Maybe it was because of one tech who either had a bad attitude or a bad work ethic. Maybe it was because the tech who did the inspection on the car said to himself 'It's a VW, I don't need to look at it, it's good.' Whatever the case, the buying experience was diminished by the issues the car had when delivered that really should have been caught and addressed. Would I recommend Carvana? Yes! Enthusiastically! But a buyer should not have to deal with minor mechanical issues that should have been dealt with prior to delivery. Carvana really needs to address the issues with the inspections and the mechanical condition of the vehicles to get 5 stars from me. read more

Currently I am giving only 3 stars, but I am more than willing to up this to 5 stars if Carvana comes through with what they promise. My vehicle was not detailed inside and actually had trash from previous owner. (Note Carvana issued me a $100 credit, and will pay more for a professional detail once I send in a receipt, i.e. if my detail is $175, they will issue me another $75). The vehicle passed their 150 point inspection, and Trunk Lift Gate was checked off as good. Upon arrival, the trunk Lift Gate did not work, and there is some type of electrical issue. (Note I have an appointment to get this fixed along with blinker on passenger side mirror, and driver side window that when you try to close, goes to close position, then opens approximately 4 inches, all appear to be electrical issues). Lastly the vehicle had a lot more interior and exterior scratches that should have been identified as hot spots/issues. I can overlook this as the vehicle is over 10 years old, but they still should have been identified, (door ding on passenger side, hood ding looks like hail or large rock, excessive scratches on the interior and exterior. Overall the experience has been iffy, and I am not 100% comfortable with their 150 point inspection. If everything gets fixed, and my vehicle functions properly after supposed service/warranty that should cost me $0, I will upgrade this to a 4 or 5. read more

Carvana made it simple to see the exact car I was looking for with the exact features I wanted. They even provided upfront pricing no need to worry about what tax, title, and registration fees would be. Ease of mind with the complimentary Carfax which they provide a printed copy when they deliver your vehicle. Only downside was my delivery was pushed back 10 days because the transport they used to bring in my vehicle cracked a headlight on it. They did a really nice job and the car is fantastic. They are doing the right thing and making the experience so much easier and pleasant. The drop off driver was great and a super fan of the company. Good to have excited ambassadors. The only weak part to their system seems to be buying your trade in. They essentially offered me $100 for it so not worth selling. I understand that could be a very difficult aspect to the online business. LOVE these guys! After a serious debacle with CarMax Littleton where they somehow sold the car I had reserved from underneath me and then offered no compensation for their own mistake, I went over to Carvana instead. And this included the complication of transferring funds for financing over a weekend, when all banks were closed. read more

Overall the car buying experience with Carvanna was great, it was pretty simple and straightforward. However, I would mention that when the car was delivered it was lacking in cleanliness for being detailed it looked as if it had been driven through an auto wash and left to dry. Hence I will need to have it detailed properly. Also, the the car only had one key. I was under the understanding that if you spent a certain dollar amount which I did, the car would come with two key's. I'm waiting to hear back from Carvanna on that. The car did receive Minor damage during transport Carvanna has already reached out and is taking care of the damage it's just a simple door ding nothing serious. Having the 7 Day review to go over the car is great. Looking forward to Carvanna's response with the second key and a few other minor hiccups that were experienced, however the overall purchase experience and seamlessness of this purchase has been great. I will definitely consider using Carvanna when I purchased my daughter's first car in a few months. read more

I have bought two cars from Carvana. 1st time was a wonderful experience. Even talked up Carvana to friends to the point a friend bought a car. Second time absolutely horrible due to the customer service team in Arizona. I'll first start by saying the Denver office (5 stars) saved the sale of the second purchase. Kassandra and her manager in Denver went above and beyond to save the damage done by the customer service team in Arizona office (0 stars). The Denver team should be given props and compensated for the work they do. I originally had a car on hold in March, which was sold out from underneath me without any explanation. When I requested to speak with a supervisor I was told on two different occasions a supervisor would contact me. Never got a call back. On one of my last calls to them concerning my car being sold I was told they would provide me with a discount on my next purchase. Fast forward three months...prices now increased by 3k on the exact same model. I was told Carvana doesn't negotiate. Well, this wasn't an instance of negotiating it is an instance of doing the right thing and treating your customers the right way after they have been treated sooo poorly. This 2nd purchase will most likely be my last purchase from Carvana. read more
