She took the time to show me every single feature of the stroller, demonstrated how everything worked, and even had me practice using it to make sure I felt comfortable. She reminded me to always use the stroller brake, sharing how important that simple habit is to help prevent tragedies. You can tell this isn't just a business to her--she truly loves helping families. My wife and 2 kids (8 and 1 years old) were inside the store and my son was trying some of their clothes while I was out of the store playing with my 3 years old daughter. After some time my 3 years old asked my wife to take her to the bathroom. So my wife left the store and when I entered the store for the first time I met a lady named Cindy who was still giving my son some clothes to try and then was stacking them at the register and telling me that my wife has chosen all that clothes and it was time to pay since she was closing the store. She mentioned that it's already late and she had to close the store 1 hour earlier. So I gave her my Citi Bank Debit Card in order not to make her stay longer and wait for my wife to comeback. Cindy didn't mention that the sales is final and there are no returns. Also, she saw that I was distracted by my 1 year old daughter who was crying after my wife and it's was extremely hard to manage to hold her and sign the receipt she gave me. She knew that I had no clew what my wife has chosen. When she gave me receipt for $577 and I was very surprised as I didn't expect such amount. I left the store to find my wife and ask why she chose clothes for such a big amount. And when we came back after 10 minutes the store was closed and Cindy was gone. My wife was shocked, she said she only wanted a pair of pants for my son. So in fact what happened is Cindy put in the bag whatever my son tried in the dressing room. My wife never approved clothes for that amount. We have decided that maybe Cindy made a mistake without knowing and came back the next day from Los Angeles to Laguna Beach to ask her to cancel the transaction. Her answer and attitude was as if she was well prepared for the conversation and she didn't seem to be surprised at all. When we explained her the situation, her only answer was: "You said to your son that he can have whatever he wants. Our corporate policy is 1-7 days store credit only". We told her that our son just recovered from cancer and $577 is never the budget to spend on clothes right now but Cindy was cold as stone and asked us to leave the store. Reading the reviews of The Vault in internet (there are The Vault Man, Woman and Kids in the same plaza) we understand that the techniques these vendors use are dishonest, fraudulent and they are aware of what they are doing. Cindy used the situation to her own benefit and basically used our son an 8 year old to sell all these items to without my wife's consent and approval. I have trusted her and payed her because we are honest hardworking people and I could never assume that a small mom and pap shop could be such a scam.

Very disappointing customer service experience…read more I purchased a pair of kids' shoes from this Cotton On Kids location, and after only one day of normal use, the shoelace broke. The shoes were brand new, and this was clearly a quality issue that should have been addressed. I returned to the store and politely asked for a replacement or refund. Although I no longer had the paper receipt, I provided my Apple Pay transaction record as proof of purchase, including the payment information from the store. However, the store manager refused to assist me and did not make any effort to verify the transaction or provide a reasonable solution. I understand that stores have return policies, but a product that breaks after just one day of normal use should not be treated like a regular return. Customers should be able to expect reasonable support when they purchase a defective item. I am very disappointed not only with the product quality but also with how this situation was handled by the store management. I hope Cotton On Kids will improve its quality control and customer service training so other families do not have the same experience. I would not recommend purchasing shoes from this location unless the company improves how it handles defective products and customer concerns.
